I have been going to Athens Smiles for a little over a year now. My hygienist, Emma, is amazing and so nice! I always feel welcome when I am there. Their prices are very reasonable and their in-house plan is worth the money!
Excellent experience. My hygienist, Anna did a wonderful job! She is very knowledgeable, explained each procedure and constantly checked to make sure that I wasn't in any pain. The treatment plan and costs were explained in detail and there were no surprises. I am definitely glad that I found such an excellent dental practice!
The front desk ladies are always nice. My hygienist Emma remembers everything I tell her and is really fun. The doctor is fine, I'm not the best patient so she explains things well without being mean haha. They email and text reminders which is always good.

My hygienist Tiffany did a great job! She was very gentle on my gums and gave recommendations on how to improve cleaning my teeth.

Like most people I do not look forward to dentistry, and I've had a lot of it in my life. Confidence in the dentist makes all the difference, and I don't like changing once I find a dentist and support staff who I can relax with. In June 2022 I needed x-rays and a second opinion about a wisdom tooth. I immediately felt comfortable here! She pulled the tooth easily and created a replacement crown at the same time. I donot like the fact that I told Dr. Clay that Carbocaine does not work, but it was used anyway without disclosure! They kept me waiting in the dental chair for over an hour to even begin my procedure to put on the permanent crown. When I asked for Lidocaine was informed they can't get it because they are, in effect, a franchise. Most unfortunate. Carbocaine was used and it did NOT work - I nearly levitated right off the chair when the first attempt was made to take off the temp and put on the permanent crown. So she gave me a second dose which, for me, was an overdose and made me extremely angry. If they are a franchise why can't they afford anesthetic options for their patients? When I asked again I was told that Lidocaine without epinephrine is not MADE. An outright lie because dermatologists use a lot of it! I did have a cleaning with Tiffany that went very well. By the way they pay $20 for every google review (I refused the payment) which is probably why their reviews are almost all 5 stars. Buyer beware. If you have any unusual sensitivities to medications, rethink coming here.

It's a good place, I went because my Dental Hygienist moved to this location. Tiffany J. and she's the best. The Dentist comes in first to check your teeth before she cleans that was nice and he took his time asking questions. I liked that shows he cares.

ATHENS SMILES IS GREAT HANDS DOWN....Amazing staff. They are very caring and attentive to your needs. They are quick and very THOROUGH!!. I actually can't wait to go back. I had problems with my old dentist and they were very helpful and getting EVERYTHING fixed like new.
