This is by far the best place for me to go for dental work! The building is very clean, everyone who works there is super friendly and that helps me be less nervous with my anxiety. I've been to several other dentists in the Athens area and Dental Arts works best for me!

Posting for an elderly man... He's been going to this dentist for some time. Faithful about staying up to date on dental cleaning, etc. Recently he broke a tooth and needed to be seen, no appts available asap. Left town to get an appt and was told he has 'multiple' issues, some serious needing root canals, filled etc. This should have been noticed along time ago, apparently that hygienist didn't do her job!

I am terrified of the dentist and have been my whole adult life, which means I have neglected my teeth. That being said, today was my first visit and WOW! This facility is clean, high tech and the staff (including the dentist) where so kind, patient and professional! Maybe now I will be more willing to act like an adult and take care of my teeth! I can't thank ya'll enough!

The service that I received here was amazing!! I was never an established patient here prior. I came in and was screened appropriately for COVID. My wait was barely anything. I was very well taken care of and the hygienist took time to educate me on matters of reducing stains and maintaining better oral health FOR ME and my lifestyle. I take very good care of my teeth, however I still had questions about some concerns I had. The hygienist and the Doctor took plenty of time to offer suggestions and compliment my smile. (: I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Dr. Tim Lavelle is my dentist at Athens Dental Arts. He's thorough, kind, gentle, caring, and very explanatory while treating you as his patient. His staff is kind and caring, as well as his hygienists; who do a great job cleaning, polishing, and checking for cavities, loose fillings, reviewing my crowns at each six months visits. Just a very knowledgeable office!! Get an appointment and receive the greatest treatment!!!

Not happy with our experience. My son is very nervous and scared of the dentist and we got to the parking lot and he panicked, turned completely white and was ready to pass out. We called and said we need to reschedule, the receptionist said that was fine. We then received a letter in the mail just before his next appt that they will no longer see us. Apparently, this dental office has no sympathy for children. We will gladly be looking for a different dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. Lavelle all of my adult life. I tell his staff he is not allowed to retire. He is very knowledgeable and tries to make your experience as pain free as possible! The dental hygienists are very thorough and caring in their work. You are seen at the time of your appointment and are out in a very reasonable amount of time. Therefore, you can plan work/life knowing your schedule will not be askewed.

They saved the day. My son is a freshman at Ohio University and had an issue with a tooth. On a Friday afternoon! and we live 4 hours from Athens. I called Athens Dental Arts, they said for him to be there in ten minutes, that they were closing at 3. I emailed insurance information, my son got his tooth fixed and all is good. Was a great feeling having Athens Dental Arts help with my son being that I was too far away and couldn't do much from home. He was in some serious pain. Thank you for being so accommodating, helpful and kind.

Dr. Cooper is top shelf...his comportment is professional and his practice is built around current evidence. Hygienists, particularly Candi and Hannah, provide thorough, gentle care and attention. And they all wash their hands before touching you...sadly, a rare find among medical professionals. Office staff are accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

I've been a patient of Athens Dental Arts for well over twenty years. The dentists and hygienists who have treated me have been professional and cordial. The staff have been respectful, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. When our daughter was young, the practice was able to accommodate her well, and to see her at the same time as my wife was being seen. My family and I have had some "dental emergencies" over that time, and the dentists at ADA have always stepped up to help us quickly. Our experience has always been very positive.
