I had my first visit today and am glad I decided to try Atascadero Hills Dental. The entire staff is great from reception, to x-rays to hygienist. I literally had the best teeth cleaning in my life. The doctor and staff are very friendly. I'm actually looking forward to going back to have two fillings redone. I would highly recommend Atascadero Hills Dental.

This place rules! The staff are so kind and helpful & Dr. Nathan Beck went above and beyond. Had me feeling like a million bucks, and made me more confident about my smile. Their hygienists are amazing as well! Highly recommended

I was fit in on short notice as there was a cancellation. I had a unique issue which was pretty nonspecific (metallic sensation on one tooth when I probed with my tongue) that initially stumped Dr. Preston Beck. After doing an exam and taking xrays that showed nothing diagnostic, he persisted and really pursued the situation. After taking more focused closeup images of the tooth in question, he found the problem, a very large cavity covered by a crown that had degraded to the point where the metal filling was exposed. And he went to the other very large filling on the other side and found the same issue. Unfortunately I will need 2 fillings and 2 crowns removed and replaced but I appreciate that Dr. Preston diagnosed the problem and took care to discuss it with me in real time as he was solving the problem. Much appreciated! And Courtney and the rest of the staff were great!

June 2022: I'm in need a considerable amount of restoration work. I've lived with a dentist in Long Beach, who is a best friend but now retired. As a result I'm very particular, and have enough knowledge to be dangerous (or difficult maybe). I have consulted with several Central Coast dental providers for more than eight months now. None of those impressed me much. I just had my first appointment today with Dr. Preston Beck at Atascadero Hills Dental for a consultation. The office is modern, clean, and seems well outfitted. Dental equipment is expensive. Ironically equipment discussions were going on while I was there. That says a lot (positive) to me. The staff and Dr. Beck were all very professional. Dr. Beck and his partners are obviously passionate about dentistry, and seem to be on top of modern advances - which are substantial! After a long search for a dental provider, I am very impressed and comfortable with this one. I'm moving forward here, and restorations will begin soon. Overall, I am very impressed, and more confident than ever! I'll update this with my opinion of the results as they progress. Update July 2022: I've received two crowns as replacements for broken precious metal onlays on underlying teeth. The replacements by Dr. Beck and Company are fantastic in workmanship, appearance, and feel great in my mouth. They are made from advanced ceramic materials that match the color of my natural teeth! I'm very impressed, and will have more work done there. Five stars to Dr. Beck & Company at Atascadero Hills Dental!

A visit to the dentist for anything other than routine x-rays and cleanings almost always is worrisome. I was very impressed, however, with the high degree of care and professionalism this office extended to me during this "double crown" affair, making it as close to a walk in the park as possible. as always, the office of Chalker and Peterson are super efficient, professional and friendly ! working with them and the oral surgeon they suggested has given me complete confidence to move forward with an implant i've been putting off for years. not afraid of the dentist anymore !
