My profession is exceptionally fulfilling on a daily basis. I get to meet so many wonderful families and children, and watch them grow into young adults while I give them a beautiful and healthy smile. I hope that I can have a positive effect on their lives and help them see how fun and wonderful it is to be an orthodontist. I feel privileged to be able to follow in my fathers footsteps into the orthodontic field. I hope that I can provide the community with the same wonderful service for the next 40 years as he has.
My father and I are currently the only father-and-son orthodontic practice in Western New York and I am honored to be able to work with him. I am proud to be from Western New York and am excited to be an integral part of the Southtowns community.
I grew up in Orchard Park, where I went to Nativity of Our Lord Elementary School and Canisius High School. I earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Loyola College in Baltimore in 2001. In September 2003, I entered SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and graduated in June of 2007 with magna cum laude honors. As a dental student, I was elected to OKU, the National Dental Honor Society.
I began my specialty training after dental school and graduated with a certificate of proficiency in orthodontics while also receiving a masters degree in June 2010. During my residency, I served as president of the class of 2010. In 2009, the Eighth District Orthodontic Academy awarded me first place in recognition of clinical excellence for the best-treated case by a University at Buffalo orthodontic resident.
Orthodontics is an evolving science that sees frequent changes in techniques, technology, and treatment. My father and I are both committed to ensuringour patients receive the most advanced orthodontic care based on research-proven techniques. We are both Clinical Assistant Professors in the Orthodontic Department at SUNY Buffalo where we work on our off days from private practice. Im also certified to provide Invisalign invisible aligners. Since graduation, I have also been instrumental in upgrading the computer software and hardware for the practice and installation of digital X-ray equipment for the office.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Elizabeth since July 2011. We were blessed with our son, Miles Robert, on June 28, 2012 and our daughter Vivian on June 29, 2014! We enjoy walking our dog Marty, the outdoors, and spending time with our family and friends.
I am an avid outdoorsman. I spend most of my recreational time fly fishing, hunting, camping, skiing, and bicycling. Ive gone to many great locations like Montana, British Columbia, the Delaware River in the Catskills, and Gasp Peninsula in Quebec.
Being an orthodontist is a truly wonderful profession. I have the ability to dramatically change my patients appearance, and improve both their function and self-esteem in the process. I appreciate the trust my patients have put in my practice and me, and Im honored when former patients return to have their own children treated.

Im Brieanne, otherwise known as Brie, feel free to call me either! As a2007 dental hygiene graduate, general dentistry was all I knew until 2018. Hi! I am the Administrative Assistant at Aszkler Ortho! You might also see me in the clinic or at your new patient exam occasionally, but typically I will be the first smiling face you see when you enter the office! I moved from Texas in 2020 after graduating with my B.S. in Business and Sociology from the University of North Texas. The thing I enjoy most about working in orthodontics is all of the awesome patients and families I get to meet!
Hello, I am Pamela. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and have been working as an orthodontic assistant since 1990. I enjoy meeting new patients and seeing their smiles transform over the course of treatment. So many things have changed in orthodontics since I began but treating patients gently and fairly has always been of the upmost importance to me. I am the proud mom of a daughter in the US Air Force. In my free time I enjoy growing flowers and vegetables in the garden, decorating, diy projects and cooking. I enjoy my weekends with my husband and friends at our campsite in Akron NY.
Im Jennifer, Jen, Jenny or whatever you would like to call me! I have been with Aszkler Orthodontics for almost a year now as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been in the dental field since 2003. My favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is educating my patients on their dental health and keeping them healthy. I am excited to meet you and follow you through your orthodontic journey! Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, Chris, family, and friends. My favorite hobbies include golfing, biking, hiking and most of all, baking yummy treats for everyone.
Hi, Im Amy! Ive been a Dental Assistant here at Aszkler Orthodontics for almost a year now and have been in the dental industry for 6 years. I find orthodontics to be the most artistic form of dentistry and I love that it gives me the opportunity to be creative. Its so much fun when kids get excited to pick the colors for their braces and then see the eventual transformation in their smile. No day is ever the same and thats what makes it fun!
When Im not at Aszkler, you can find me working weekend overnights as a DJ for 104.1, a Classic Hits radio station! Ive been there for 17 years and counting! In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, and my dogs and cats. Im very passionate about animal rescue and volunteer as needed with a nationwide Cairn Terrier Rescue. Animal rescue has always been a cause thats very dear to my heart. I look forward to meeting you and help give you the smile you have always wanted!
Hello! My name is Cassandra, but most people call me Cassie! I wear quite a few hats here at Aszkler Orthodontics. You can find me in the lab sterilizing instruments, in the clinic assisting the girls, directing x-rays, or my personal favoritetreatment coordinating. I never knew what Id end up doing career wise because I have so many passions. I wanted to be a teacher, a counselor, and an interior designer to name a few. Because Janelle is so passionate and dedicated as a Treatment Coordinator, I thought to myself, THIS is what I want to be doing. In this role I can teach and counsel our patients, to get them the smile they deserve! This is so fulfilling, as theres nothing more important to me than a smile or a laugh to make your day better!
Outside of work, I love to wind down and bundle up in my fuzzy blankets with a good paranormal romance novel, a new Netflix series, or a funny movie. Family is everything to me! Weve got a Bernese Mountain Dog named Dexter at my moms, and I love to go visit him when I can. My favorite thing to do when the weather permits, is to ride the quads with my friends. I LOVE the Buffalo Bills (2023 is our year!).
The title of orthodontist is reserved for only specialists who have undergone two or more years of additional postdoctoral education from an accredited university. Only six percent of all general dentists pursue the rigorous additional training required to become an orthodontist.
Always cheerful and friendly, many of our team members have been with our office for several years. Our staff has been carefully selected to provide you with the best quality of service possible. Our clinical staff consists ofCertified Orthodontic Assistants (C.O.A.) and a Certified Dental Hygienist(who have had additional training and qualifications to provide excellent orthodontic care).
Many of our patients referred to our office are from patients and parents who are either in treatment or have completed their treatment with us. One of the highest compliments we can receive is when our patients refer their friends and relatives to us!
The dentists in our community that we have known for many years frequently refer their patients to our office. We have treated many members of their families. They have seen the consistently great smiles of their patients after treatment and have received positive feedback about our superior service.
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that children should receive their first orthodontic evaluation by age seven. Our primary goal is to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care for each patient at the most appropriate time in their development and to keep them in braces for the least amount of time.
By seven years of age, Dr. Aszkler can tell you if your child is expressing any unusual growth patterns. Recognizing these problems at this age can make treatment easier and simpler, and in most cases preventthe need for extractions or surgery and alleviate harmful habits in the future.
Most of the time, no early interceptive treatment is required and Dr. Aszkler performs a complimentary service of monitoring the childs growth and development. This furnishes families with PEACE OF MIND, knowing the doctor is carefully watching their son or daughters growth and development.
We pride ourselves on creating the most beautiful smiles by using a conservative approach to treatment planning. Surgery and extractions are avoided whenever possible. Treatment is recommended only when it is truly needed.
