I went to this practice yesterday to get a second opinion for one of my teeth. A month ago I went to a new dentist. After checking my teeth, he said one of them has a big cavity & I might need to have a root canal since the decay is very close to nerves. I was so upset & nervous. One of my friends recommended me to go to her dentist, Dr. Kashani as she found her an excellent dentist. So I decided to give her a try and am so happy that I did. She gave my teeth a through exam . My tooth didn't have a problem so it was only a wrong diagnosis by my ex dentist. However I had some issues with my gum that she took care of them. During the whole treatment she made sure that I was comfortable and not having pain. I found her very gentle, kind and professional. She saved my a big relief from further pain and financial distress. Thanks you again Dr.Miriam Kashani . I will go back to this dental office in future if I need to. P.s The secretaries were also polite and waiting time was only 15 minutes for me.

One of the best dental experiences of my life. Went in with no wait at all and the hygienist was one of the nicest guys I've ever met- believe his name was sidney. Quick, painless and pleasant!

The worst experience I ever had in my life in a dental clinic,having to return for the same tooth for 5 times and was not able to get rid of the pain that they caused it in a tooth that had no root canal, just a simple filling No other person from management was able to assist and do something about it. It's a shame that this happens in a health care setting as I'm part if it as well.

Incompetent. State that they take my insurance for an emergency and then backtrack saying they dont when I get there when I need to be seen, trying to charge me $60

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. Every time you call you get an attitude. Every time go you have to wait forever. Its really too bad because the dentist is actually pretty good. I will no longer be going here though. I really would not recommend.

Very bad service, I had to suffer for weeks with sharp edge of broken tooth. They don't care about patients. I went to another dentist in Manhattan, wow what a excellent service, they took care of me in few days.

I highly recommend this place! Ive been here for 3 years and it always satisfied me! Thank you so much Dr. Park for taking care of my teeth and your very light hand that i barely feel! Kudos to all the staffs!

Hands down this Dental office is second to none. The Ladies at the front desk (Maria & Co.) are very warm and inviting and make you feel right at home, they tend to everyone with the up most respect and are great at what they do. My Dentist Dr.Chen is incredible he took extra time out to help me understand what needs to get done for me and broke everything down to me in lamen terms. He makes you comfortable from the moment he walks into the room and that's a huge plus in the Dental world. Within 5 minutes of dealing with Dr.Chen I knew I finally found myself my primary Doctor he truly is Amazing. Bottom line if you're in need of quality Dental care and you are looking for a good place make sure you book yourself an appointment at "Astoria Modern Family Dental Care"... K.Kalamvokis

I have been here since 1 2004 till now. I love this denistst service. Very experienced dr and the tech. Only problema is there is not surgeon so if you need to go to the dental surgeon they will give you a referral and u can go to other place for tht purposes.

Worst dentist ever. 1 appointment I had but due to snowstorm the dentist was closed. The next day I called 2 see when my next appointment will be they told me they're booked I had 2 wait a month emergency or not. Asked them for earlier app because snowstorm wasn't my fault, they couldn't. So I booked an app 4 next month & asked if it's possible if someone canceled if they can call me & I take there app. They said that I would have to call every other day/week to check for cancellation due 2 receptionist being busy but & there's no guarantee due 2 a waiting list & I would b 6th in line. (Mind u between these app not once did they ever contact me saying there was a cancellation.) So now my 2nd 12:00 app after waiting a month after snowstorm. I called @12:00 on dot while Omw 2 dentist from my job 2 tell them I'll b 20 mins late & they told me since they need an hour they would have 2 reschedule they don't take late patients. Even after apologizing & explaining I get out of work @ 11 & due 2 Covid situation I can't ask 2 change my schedule or get off early. So reschedule my last app another month later. All those times I spoke 2 them calmly. I tried 2 have a late time app but then I would have 2 wait a week more than that month. So my 3rd & last app I get there 30 mins late due 2 traffic. They told me same thing they can't see me , they can give me something for pain today & they'll have 2 reschedule. I'm explaining I'm in pain I keep having 2 wait months till my next app if they can please squeeze me in. While I'm in lobby speaking 2 receptionist there's no patients waiting so I'm asking please they're telling me no there's a 15 min late policy & im 30 mins late. I explained if that's the case then they could of seen me last month when I called saying I'd be 20 mins late. I then asked 2 speak with my dentist. Receptionist took me 2 room dentist sat me down so I'm saying thank u for seeing me where can I put my purse. She tells me put my bag on the hook & 2 have a seat in chair, only 2 b asked 2 get up moments later. She started talking saying this is my second time being late, I explained 2 her about things happen & I rushed here from work & been waiting long for work 2 b done. She said she needed an hour 2 do a root canal @ 1:00 her & another dentist goes on lunch break. I begged & pleaded she said nothing she can do but give me something for pain for pain today. I said what about every day until the next month app asked if I can b seen next week they told me they're booked, and why they keep putting my app so close to lunch. To all the people reading this review don't go to this dentist!

Recetionist name Maria is way too rude i suffered from them 6 months ,doctors are great but receptionist is hell period.

Visited Astoria Modern Family Dental April 2021for cleaning and checkup. Anamaria is an excellent hygienist and dental review is always flawless. Highly recommend this service.

I have been going to Astoria Modern Family Dental since 2015. Although I moved to Manhattan, I have continued to go there for my annual checkup and cleaning. Dr. Manuelian is very thorough and does excellent work. I was very pleased with a crown that he made for me. Ana Maria is my dental hygienist and I highly recommend her. My teeth always look great after I see her. The entire office staff is very polite and always accommodating.

I have been going to Astoria Family Dental for years. My appointments have generally been on time, and the staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Chen is a great dentist and took an issue I had with tooth pain very seriously to find the root cause. I see Anamaria, the hygienist, every six months and she always does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Honestly this is the best shape my teeth have been in years. Thank you!!
