Dr. Ted grew up in Connecticut and spent many weekends enjoying the outdoors and skiing in Vermont. In 1978, following a four-year football career and graduating with a B.S. degree in Zoology from Ohio University, Dr. Ted went on to the Ohio State University Dental School.

Dr. Ted met his wife Linda, at Ohio University where they were classmates. They were married prior to his final year in dental school. Dr. Ted received his dental degree and was admitted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. In 1981, following graduation, Dr. Ted and Linda moved to Boston, MA, so he could begin a one-year general practice residency at the Tufts New England Medical Center. Following the residency program, he entered the two-year orthodontic residency program at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

In 1984, Dr. Ted and Linda, along with their two-year-old twin daughters, moved to Vermont to join Associates in Orthodontics. They settled in Essex, Vermont and over the years, their family grew to five children. Dr. Ted spent many years coaching youth football and basketball in Essex and served for ten years as president of the Friends of Essex Football booster organization. Much time was spent enjoying their childrens youth, high school, and college athletics. Dr. Ted and Linda continue to enjoy the outdoors, as boating, snowshoeing, gardening, and landscaping are among favorite pastimes.

Professionally, Dr. Ted stays active in the dental community. He is a former president of the Champlain Valley Dental Society and the Vermont Association of Orthodontists. In addition, he is a member of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Vermont State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Jeff earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut where he graduated from the Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. Moving across the state, he attended dental school and completed his orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut Health Center, both of which are nationally ranked premier programs. While at dental school, Dr. Jeff completed his coursework in the Masters of Public Health Program, finishing his thesis during the three-year orthodontic residency training.

Upon completion of dental school, he was admitted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Jeff earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters degree in Dental Science.

Dr. Jeff returned to Vermont in 2001 to join Associates in Orthodontics. He has published three papers in peer reviewed orthodontic journals based on his Masters degree research in sleep apnea and workforce issues. He is a Diplomate and board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Jeff is a proud member of the Vermont Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, the Champlain Valley Dental Society, Vermont State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.

Orthodontic treatment has the ability to impact a person for the rest of their life. It is so rewarding treating both children and adults and giving them the beautiful smile they have always wanted. Zach Librizzi, D.M.D., M.D.S.

Dr. Zach earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. While at Wesleyan, Dr. Zach enjoyed an accomplished career as the quarterback of his football team and a defenseman in lacrosse. After college, he attended the University of Connecticut Dental School, receiving his D.M.D. in 2012. This was followed by a combined orthodontic residency and Masters in Dental Science, from which he graduated in 2015.

Throughout his dental and orthodontic education, Dr. Zach completed extensive research and has had his work published in one of the top orthodontic journals. He received many distinctions for his exemplary performance as a student, including awards presented to the dental student that displayed excellence in orthodontics, periodontics, radiology, and community service. He was also admitted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. During his final year of orthodontic residency, he was voted Chief Resident by his faculty for leadership and performance throughout the program.

Dr. Zach returned to Vermont in July of 2015 to join Associates in Orthodontics He and his wife Jessica welcomed their son Teddy in April 2016. While not at the office working with patients, Dr. Zach, Jessica, and Teddy enjoy all Vermont has to offer, whether its skiing during the winter or spending time on Lake Champlain during the summer.

Dr. Zach is a Diplomate and a board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is the current President of the Vermont Association of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, the Champlain Valley Dental Society, Vermont State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
