Before becoming a dentist Dr. Grimm worked as an engineer consultant for 3 years. He loves using the latest technology, completing extensive dental implant training with CT-guided surgery, combining both his fields of study to engineer healthy, long lasting, strong, and beautiful smiles. His greatest passion in dentistry has been helping people replace their missing teeth through dental implants, placing over 400 in his career thus far! Impressively, he has added guided same day tooth replacement to his skill set, which ranges from one tooth, to an entire arch if needed. Implants arent his only strong suit, he is one of two dentists in our office who is skilled in Invisalign and ClearCorrect orthodontic dentistry as well.

When he is not perfecting patients smiles, you will find him with his wife and their energetic family of five children. He is very active outdoors, doing everything from biking, fishing, skiing, camping, archery, and pretty much anything else you can think of! His vast knowledge and passion for the outdoors led him to be an Eagle Scout, where he was involved in his sons Boy Scout Troop. Although his son is now done with Boy Scouts, Dr. Grimm continues to support local scouting.

Consistently voted Top Dentist by Madison Magazine, Dr. Donovan has been practicing dentistry at the Madison location for 13 years. He is a proud Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison and Marquette Dental School. He and his team offer complete dental care and have advanced training in Invisalign, sleep and snore device fabrication, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. He is passionate about continuing education, has completed several advanced courses, and is in the process of completing a curriculum through the esteemed SPEAR institute.

Kayleigh graduated from Blackhawk Technical College with a certificate in Dental Assisting in 2011, and has been with Associated Dentists since. Outside of work she enjoys reading, being with family and friends, and getting outside for walks.

Devi graduated from Blackhawk Technical College for Dental Assisting in 2012. She joined Associated Dentists in 2014. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking her dog Flex for walks. She also enjoys many other outdoor activities such as running, hiking, fishing, and hunting.

Lis graduated from Madison Area Technical College as a Dental Hygienist. She has been with Associated Dentists since 2015. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and outdoor summer activities.

Dr Brent Killian is a general dentist at Associated Dentists in Verona. He was born and raised in Middleton and has lived in the Madison area for most of his life. Dr Killian is a second generation dentist. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Zoology and completed his dental education at Marquette University School of Dentistry. He advanced his dental education with a General Practice Residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He then practiced in Middleton for over thirteen years, being named to Madison Magazines top DENTISTS for the past seven years. He is pleased to be working alongside the entire staff at Associated Dentists.

Dr Killian wants patients to know his patient-centered method is focused on learning each patients dental needs and concerns and addressing these with options and solutions to put patients in control of their dental health for the best possible outcome. Dr Killian starts by listening to patients concerns so he can understand their dental history. He then cares for each patients comfort and tailors treatment to make their dental experience pleasant with favorable outcomes. Dr Killians patients frequently remark that his exams are the most thorough dental exam they have ever received. Moreover, Dr Killian centers his practice on a patient-dentist relationship rooted in trust that grows with open communication and honest dental care.

Dr Killian lives in Waunakee with his lovely wife Jannina and their two children, Nathan and Emily. They enjoy many outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, biking and camping. Dr Killian and his wife enjoy volunteering at their childrens schools and sports, their church, scouts and local non-profits.

Dr. Jim Sands is a partner and general dentist at Associated Dentists Verona office. Dr. Sands is experienced in all facets of dentistry, but he feels he is never done learning. His warm and reassuring personality is known to put even the most timid patient at ease.

From private study to longer courses and training opportunities, Dr. Sands is always striving to provide his patients with the latest innovations and techniques that dentistry has to offer. Nothing gives him greater satisfaction than being able to guide a patient through the process of fixing their smile.

Dr. Sands is a credentialed member in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He earned his Associate Fellow designation in 2013 after completing over 300 credit hours of training in dental implants and passing a rigorous oral and written examination process. Dr. Sands feels that he owes it to his patients to have the training he himself would want in a dentist.
