Before becoming a dentist Dr. Grimm worked as an engineer consultant for 3 years. He loves using the latest technology, completing extensive dental implant training with CT-guided surgery, combining both his fields of study to engineer healthy, long lasting, strong, and beautiful smiles. His greatest passion in dentistry has been helping people replace their missing teeth through dental implants, placing over 400 in his career thus far! Impressively, he has added guided same day tooth replacement to his skill set, which ranges from one tooth, to an entire arch if needed. Implants arent his only strong suit, he is one of two dentists in our office who is skilled in Invisalign and ClearCorrect orthodontic dentistry as well.
When he is not perfecting patients smiles, you will find him with his wife and their energetic family of five children. He is very active outdoors, doing everything from biking, fishing, skiing, camping, archery, and pretty much anything else you can think of! His vast knowledge and passion for the outdoors led him to be an Eagle Scout, where he was involved in his sons Boy Scout Troop. Although his son is now done with Boy Scouts, Dr. Grimm continues to support local scouting.
Consistently voted Top Dentist by Madison Magazine, Dr. Donovan has been practicing dentistry at the Madison location for 13 years. He is a proud Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison and Marquette Dental School. He and his team offer complete dental care and have advanced training in Invisalign, sleep and snore device fabrication, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. He is passionate about continuing education, has completed several advanced courses, and is in the process of completing a curriculum through the esteemed SPEAR institute.
Kayleigh graduated from Blackhawk Technical College with a certificate in Dental Assisting in 2011, and has been with Associated Dentists since. Outside of work she enjoys reading, being with family and friends, and getting outside for walks.
Devi graduated from Blackhawk Technical College for Dental Assisting in 2012. She joined Associated Dentists in 2014. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking her dog Flex for walks. She also enjoys many other outdoor activities such as running, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
Lis graduated from Madison Area Technical College as a Dental Hygienist. She has been with Associated Dentists since 2015. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and outdoor summer activities.

Dr Brent Killian is a general dentist at Associated Dentists in Verona. He was born and raised in Middleton and has lived in the Madison area for most of his life. Dr Killian is a second generation dentist. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Zoology and completed his dental education at Marquette University School of Dentistry. He advanced his dental education with a General Practice Residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He then practiced in Middleton for over thirteen years, being named to Madison Magazines top DENTISTS for the past seven years. He is pleased to be working alongside the entire staff at Associated Dentists.
Dr Killian wants patients to know his patient-centered method is focused on learning each patients dental needs and concerns and addressing these with options and solutions to put patients in control of their dental health for the best possible outcome. Dr Killian starts by listening to patients concerns so he can understand their dental history. Dr Killian lives in Waunakee with his lovely wife Jannina and their two children, Nathan and Emily. They enjoy many outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, biking and camping. Dr. Jim Sands is a partner and general dentist at Associated Dentists Verona office. Dr. Sands is experienced in all facets of dentistry, but he feels he is never done learning. His warm and reassuring personality is known to put even the most timid patient at ease.
From private study to longer courses and training opportunities, Dr. Sands is always striving to provide his patients with the latest innovations and techniques that dentistry has to offer. Nothing gives him greater satisfaction than being able to guide a patient through the process of fixing their smile.
Dr. Sands is a credentialed member in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He earned his Associate Fellow designation in 2013 after completing over 300 credit hours of training in dental implants and passing a rigorous oral and written examination process. Dr. Sands feels that he owes it to his patients to have the training he himself would want in a dentist.

Pretty sure these 5 star reviews are fake. This place is awful compared to other dentists in Madison. They talk in the comments like they're writing about their co-workers. They all come in around the same bulk time too, each person careful to mention everyone by name. Odd?

Convenient location but I went back to my old dentist by mineral point. Staff here is rude especially the front desk. Had a good experience through the ortho they set me up with but I don't think they are the same business. There are many dentists in Madison I would shop around before landing here if you want a more permanent one.

Definitely has gone down hill since the last few years, its a shame. Staff is rude and impatient. Not very informative. Hygienist cancels. There are at least 3 other dentists in the area. The ones by Hillsdale mall are pretty straight forward and kind I wouldn't choose here as a long term family dentist.(edit) Domenic is my preferred name. I have contacted the owner about this disappointing experience in the past, they do not care.

My wife and me had covid twice in the same year, we cancelled a few appointments as a result, so they told us not to come back in. They should be thankful were responsible enough not to spread it to the whole place since its a dentist. Be wary of this. God knows who they have in and out of there sick because they threatened to drop them too. I have since spoken to the administrator and they stand by their decision to not allow us to re-schedule despite it being an illness issue. Again be aware there could be patients not symptomatic yet infecting staff and others considering this punishment system. We can assume the worst that someone would rather infect an entire dentist than be unable to continue getting dental treatment. This seems like a major flaw in their punishment of patients system for "wasting" their time. Please keep ur families safe and go somewhere more responsible.

The dentist and dental assistant were both very friendly, polite and talked me through the whole process of my dental work. Several times they asked me if I was in any discomfort or feeling any pain. And told me we can stop or take a break if I needed one. They both were very professional in the way they went about their work. I felt at ease through my whole dental work. I would recommend them to my family and friends. They Did a GREAT JOB!!!!!

I can't say enough about Associated Dentists. Sue, my hygienist, was very attentive to my need for quick x-rays (gag reflex) and her cleaning and inspection was thorough and pain free! She was great. Dr. Bowen is also fantastic. She listened to my concerns, explained options and let me make the appropriate choice for my needs.

I've been going to Dr. Miller and his team at Associated Dentists for my preventative care for 3 years. I have always had a positive experience. I've received thorough cleanings with a gentle touch (Bronte is amazing!) plus they are always on top of when I need Xrays. Highly recommend!
