We LOVE, LOVE and LOVE Associated Dental Specialists of Long Grove, especially Dr. Tylka, and Ms. Vanessa. My kids, 6yo and 3yo, both love this place, and they always talk about Dr. Tylka even weeks after the visit they have had. My son had to go through a dental surgery. Vanessa coordinated the entire plan and scheduled the surgery at the hospital. She worked with me from the beginning ALL the way until the last minute - Vanessa was really on top of it all. Professional, communicative, very swift, and very organized. SUPERB! EVERYTHING with the surgery went smooth from the time we checked into the hospital, throughout the surgery, and until the end of surgery when my son returned to the waiting/recovery room. Dr. Tylka is simply an amazing guy. I love his work and the kids love him. He is very patient and an awesome guy with the kids. Explains things both for the parents to understand, feel comfortable and safe as well as for the kid to be at ease - He is truly a professional and he knows his work from A-Z. He is indeed very perfect about everything he does. I totally trust him with his work, no doubt. We have come across an AWESOME and top of the line dentist and a very rare Dr. and nurse that is very hard to come by. This will be our dentist to go to no matter how far or close we will live from their location. Highly, highly, and super highly recommend to anyone with kids needing any type of dental work.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Pria today. She was so kind and gentle with my daughter. It was a pretty simple procedure, and she checked in with her on numerous occasions to make sure she wasn't in any pain or discomfort. It was wonderful to meet her, and we look forward to seeing her again.

So happy I found this place. My older son terrified to go to dentist, he even was scared to do simple cleaning, always on the check what dentist holds in his hands. And when it came to cavities it was a nightmare. I did research and learn this office has advanced equipment - pain free. As well I found out they treat kids with special needs, so I decided to give a try. This was the best decision ever. Dr. Cannon is wonderful and the staff. Finally my son is stress free. Every time I mention dr. Appointment he always checks if we going to see Dr. Cannon, which brings smile to me knowing he wants to go and not afraid. It actually gave him to some extent confidence in himself. Just want to say thank you Dr. Cannon for all you do. Family Narkevitch

We found Associated Dental Specialists when my 3YO had his front tooth "bent" at his gentle & orderly Montessorri preschool :))) This special group of people and our wonderful experience with Dr. Cannon and team opened my eyes to the world of pediatric dentistry. We changed our toothpaste and my kids now look forward to dental visits. And we managed to save that baby tooth!

We used to be patients of Dr. Cannon. During one of my then four year old son's cleanings, he examined him and stated my son had at least six cavities (none of which he had seen or mentioned six months prior). He did not take x rays. He said that my son would need to be put completely under using general anesthesia (which was not covered by insurance) in order to have all the cavities filled. I was beside myself for letting his teeth get so bad, and terrified about him having this procedure done. Thankfully, my son's dad recommended getting a second opinion. We went to a Pediatric Dentistry on Northbrook, and upon the examination, Dr. Egger said my son had NO CAVITIES. Dr. Cannon was going to put my four year under and drill into his healthy teeth to fill cavities that didn't exist. I was horrified. We've since left this practice, and to this day neither of my kids have had a single cavity. PLEASE be wary taking your children to this practice! They say they specialize in dental care for special needs children, and my heart breaks for any children that have had unnecessary work done because their parents felt they couldn't seek a second opinion due to their needs.

Our 2.5 year old little one fell over and broke one of his front tooth, we found Associated Dental Specialists based on Google review for an emergency visit and they made it to see us on the same day. Dr. Cannon is very patient and caring. With his professionalism, our little one's front tooth is perfectly treated and bonded. No one can tell it was chipped before. I have to say that deal with 2.5 year old is hard, and Dr. Cannon and his team are the best. Thank you!
