Dr. Stephen D. Hunsaker is the owner and orthodontist at Aspen Orthodontics. He is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hunsaker attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He then went on to attend dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. During dental school, he maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA and graduated at the top of his class with Summa Cum Laude honors.
After practicing as a general dentist in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Hunsaker decided to specialize in the practices of orthodontics. He was accepted into the orthodontic residency program at the University of Minnesota and earned a Master of Science degree. The Hunsaker family chose to settle in Gilbert, Arizona where Dr. Hunsaker opened Aspen Orthodontics in Chandler and two additional offices in Maricopa and Queen Creek.
Dr. Yetter attended Arizona State University and University of the Pacific, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery license. He then went on to continue his education at Seton Hill University where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Yetter has deep roots in the valley of the sun as a third generation Arizona native. Dr. Yetter enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, and basketball. Dr. Yetter, his wife, and five children reside in Mesa, Arizona.
Dr. Mahshid Mehdipour is an orthodontist at Aspen Orthodontics! Dr. Mehdipour attended Dental School at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She received her Master of Public Health at A.T Still University of Health Sciences.
Her Doctor of Health Education was earned at A.T. Still University College of Graduate Health Studies. She attended Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health for her Orthodontic Specialty Certificate. She is a board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics, as well as, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

They are super friendly and break down the process. My first visit was great and fast. Their technology is impressive. My follow up is in 8 weeks I will write an update at that time. I will be getting the Invisalign as my teeth are not too bad.

Katie and Dr. Mehdipour are amazing. So nice and knowledgeable. The communication is awesome also- with receiving text messages when I can't be chair side. Aspen Orthodontics doesn't miss a beat!

By far the best ortho office I've ever been to. Everyone is so kind and hard working. They provided an amazing experience from beginning to end. I loved interacting with everyone in this office. From the front office to the Assistants and Doctor Mehdipour. Each and every interaction was pleasant and so easy going. I was in and out for every appointment very quickly and I always had the best treatement. I love the progress my teeth have made and I'm so glad I chose to work with this Office !! Thank you so much Aspen Team !

I LOVE ASPEN ORTHO!!! I can't stress this enough. I love everything about this office . Dr. Mehdipour is amazing and my experience was perfect. I got my braces off this week and I am in love with the results. I have sensitive teeth and can be a baby sometimes but Brittney was working along side Dr M and Brittney was absolutely amazing . She made me feel so comfortable and was constantly asking how I'm doing she definitely cares about her patients and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with them all. Now that my treatment is done , I'm bringing both my kids to come get braces and I know they will have the best experience as well. 10/10 The best ortho in the valley !

I've updated my review after receiving a follow up call from the office and received an explanation of some of the issues and acknowledgement of some training opportunities they have. It's rare these days to have a business follow up and acknowledge opportunities for improvement, that alone deserves an increased rating. Staff in the front is friendly and the woman who did the initial consultation and paperwork was great. The staff in back is hit or miss but never unfriendly. The office is very clean and inviting. Their prices are on par with other offices, not the lowest but not the highest. What I would like to see is better communication to the parents after appointments are completed on any changes or treatment updates, especially with younger children. I look forward to these improvements at future appointments.

Billing nightmare! Going on three weeks with out resolution. Hygienist was popping bubble gum while working on my daughter's mouth. She left feeling grossed out.

Wonderful friendly staff, very gentle, and they take their time with you & care! Our oldest boy was a patient a couple years ago and he had no complaints, and he is very happy with the outcome. Now our daughter is happy going & looking forward to each appointment. Thanks to all for making the braces experience very pleasant and easy!!
