I was trying to find a place to my my daughter procedure. I talked to the billing guy and he gave me clear instructions to send her x-Ray to give me estimation. I even sent the treatment plan and the code for my daughter treatment. I just made phone call regarding my email and There was a lady in front answering my phone and insisted me to make appointment. She couldn't even explain to what the codes are and very rude forcing me to make an appointment. How will I trust your office with that attitude!!! You even hang up!!! The worse lady ever!!! Good luck with the business!!!!

I really like the dentist at this office but the billing office is no help at all. My family have been patients for 2 years and none of claims have been paid. I tried so many times to get it fixed. But they refused too. I asked in March for a manager or the dentist to call me , and I'm still waiting for a call. I don't want to keep going and a year later get a bill for unpaid claims. I wished I could keep this dentist but am just afraid to get a bill that I can't afford. So if you have no insurance thistles is the place to go but with insurance stay away.

Do not recommend if you are coming here with Medicaid insurance, the upcharges are insane. The type of place if you don't pay what they say they won't do any work at all.

This is a HORRIBLE dental office! They change your dentist based on what insurance you have, charge extra for non-essential services, and worst of all, they send you bills over 6-9 months after services have been completed and paid for, asking for between $800 and $1300 MORE DOLLARS. I have complained to the Maryland Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau, and have advocated numerous times to have my illegal bills taken off my record. They purposely go after disabled, poor, immigrant, and disadvantaged people and hustle them for money. They especially focused on illegal actions during the Pandemic. DO NOT COME HERE! I would leave zero stars if I could.

I would not recommend this dental practice. This practice is predatory. They are always trying to charge for copays that are not owed, getting you to buy additional insurance, pay for colored x-rays, etc... My family and I were new patients approximately 2.5 years ago, the dentists spent most of the time trying to get you to purchase thing you didn't need, example, colored x-rays, which are not necessary. Once I had to have a tooth extracted, I called my insurance provider to make sure what was covered and what I would owe. They told me everything was covered and there was not a co pay. I confirmed this with the dental office when making the appointment. When I got there for the tooth extraction appointment, they said I had to pay $150. I told them that I check with my insurance company and their office, both said it was all covered and there was no copay. I gave them the number of my insurance company and the name of the person in their office that verified it. Once presented with this information, the person nervously went into the back, spoke to someone and said, it was for Nitrous oxide (laughing gas for sedation). I did not request it, since Novocain would be used to numb the tooth area. This was one of their tactics of overcharging you. I witnessed others who were possibly taken advantage of since they did not know the system or that English was not their first language. Every time we were there for our checkups, they would always try to overcharge us. This under minded our confidence in the practice. My wife and I decided to not use this practice and waited a year before finding a new practice. The new dental practice asked us if we had full mouth x-rays in the last 5 years. We said yes, we told them at Aspen Hill General & Cosmetic Dentistry. The new practice said, they would contact them to get a copy of the x rays, so we would not have to pay for them. They informed us that they called several times and they never sent them. The new practice understood the situation, took x-rays and did not charge us. We have been with them for about a year and very happy.

About the money stay away, I am reporting this dental office to the FTC for bad business practices. Who ever heard of a consultation to get cleaning. Another way to bill insurance company and you then from there you have to schedule another appointment for cleaning. They also have made up prices my insurance offer 2 cleaning and x-ray per tear but they make up some additional service for extra. Terrible if you looking for no hidden fees. Great service. Excellent doctors go to the other dentist office in building suite 302.

I went to this dentist for a number of years. The waiting room does not accommodate all the patients who have to sit for long periods - some stand in the hallway. The seating is filthy, and the receptionists are unfriendly and standoffish. It almost seems as though they are supposed to limit their conversations with patients. The lead dentist, Dr. Goorah, chastises her staff in front of the patients. When I asked one of her assistants if this bothered her, she said that she tried to ignore it. Their true crime is that they falsify records with the insurance companies. They repeatedly filed incorrect claims with the insurance and then billed me, although their filing codes were inaccurate. At one point, I dropped off copies of the claims that I wanted them to review. When I called a couple of weeks later, I was told that "THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT WAS PREGNANT AND WAS ON MATERNITY LEAVE". When I again delivered the claims, the office manager had no idea what I was talking about and could only read what her one piece of paper said. She had no clue what the issue was, and there was no offer to investigate. At one point, I needed a procedure, and one of the dentists offered to perform another very simple procedure at the same time at no charge. When Dr. Goorah came into the room, he denied that he ever said "no charge". I stayed with this office for a long time only because I was under a treatment plan, which I had to agree to up front.

Maybe instead of trying to bribe people with gift cards in mass emails to get five star reviews y'all should just not add extra charges on top of what insurance is supposed to cover

If there was a place to give 0 stars I would. Lousy customer service, work that was not done right and they would not correct and over billing.

Dental work is professional, but administration is lacking. Website is not secure and claims are not posted to insurance site timely.
