I was going to have a root canal done at this office (which accepts my dental insurance), but a receptionist told me I could have it done at the Springfield office at an earlier date and it would still be covered under my insurance. It was not covered under my insurance at the Springfield location, and I am being billed $750 that I cannot afford. This was in back in April. I've been in contact with them since the beginning of April, and the office manager said (in April!!) that she'd ask the endodontist for a discount. This still has not happened. I have emailed and gotten no response (and I know that this email belongs to someone because she sent me a copy of a document I signed). On at least 5 occasions I have called, been promised a call back, and received no response. I would not have gotten my procedure done at the Springfield location if I had been given accurate information. I find it appalling that I am being billed for their mistake, even more so because they have done nothing to rectify said mistake, despite my many calls to ask for their help. I have called this office so many times and have nothing to show for it. I am so anxious and upset about this and have not received a single apology.

As always, this Aspen Dental continues to deliver exceptional customer service, i have been a patient for years, and the entire staff is always friendly, and always answers my questions. The front staff is on point ready to help! Christina M. always keeps my teeth and gums in excellent health. I give them the credit they deserve!

I was told to come in to discuss my treatment plan because they won't discuss it over the phone. I drove an hour to the office, I was told they couldn't discuss it today because they were busy. I'm busy too. I left work early for this. How rude!

Aspen made me wait close to an hour for a copy of my x-rays and wouldn't give me my chart. Poor service mixed reviews on actual procedures. Hygienist is good though

Oleksandr Pavliuchyk. applied 5 months ago with severe pain and a desire to remove a tooth. I clearly indicated which tooth was bothering me, but they tried to mislead me and wanted to treat everything that was not related to the pain. in the end, the canals were treated and a crown was placed. my insurance covered a lot and I paid an extra $1000. after that the toothache did not stop, they made appointments several weeks in advance and did nothing to help, canceling appointments 15 minutes before they started. they promise to call back and never do it. all this time, for 5 months, I have been living with constant aching pain, constantly using painkillers. now, after so much suffering, they offer to just pull out this tooth, which I just did 5 months ago. DO NOT RECOMMEND! the main thing for the staff is to take the money, they don't care about the patients! they simply avoid responsibility for wrong actions and take money out of their wallets. 0 service, 0 quality, 0 qualification!

Horrible customer service. The office staff could not keep track of my information, resulting in numerous issues. I have had to hound them for follow up appointments, they've given me conflicting information about procedures... I would never come back here.

They do not finance so if you came here because no one else would help you I hope all you wanted was 800 painful x-rays you didn't ask for. The "financing" is the same as what you would see at any dentist office. And besides that you can make your bill in two payments. That doesn't help normal people who do not have thousands of dollars. They also nickel and dime people with procedures they don't actually need. And add on things you do not need. Go to a real dentist don't come here!

My husband came here last week needing a loose implant fixed. During the exam, they messed with his surrounding implants, loosening them in the process when they were just fine to begin with!! He left here with more damage than he came in with, plus a quote for thousands of dollars of work he MIGHT need in the future. Nothing was done or suggested to fix the immediate problem, even though he was clearly in pain and having a hard time eating. Now it's so much worse. This place does not care about you or how much pain you are in. They are scam artists who only want your money. Run away from this place and don't look back.

It was a great experience, the staff there at Aspen Dental in west Springfield are very friendly, Professional, they take their time explaining all the details of the pricing and the different avenues you can take to get the right outcome, when it comes to Dentures. i'm very Happy and pleased with the staff at Aspen Dental

I showed up today for an appointment that I had called to reschedule months ago. When checking in I was told that I was not showing an appointment until august. I pulled up my email confirmation of my appointment and was told that I talked to a call center and not the office directly (obviously a patient wouldn't know if they were talking to a call center) and that the only option was to book for the next available that was months out. After leaving I called the phone number and followed the automated prompts to try to verify if I was talking to the office directly or a call center. While on the phone with the office the customer service was comically bad. The individual I was speaking with seemed to not understand how ridiculous it is to be sent a confirmation email only to show up and be told that I do not have an appointment and the best they can do is re-book for months out. I can't stress enough how poor my experience was with the customer service today

Should have run out the door months ago. The dentist told me I needed Invisalign due to my bite and absolutely insisted I get an implant instead of a bridge for a missing tooth and basically laughed at me when I said I wanted a bridge. Upon seeing the oral surgeon, he told me I absolutely do not need Invisalign and that the bridge route was less invasive and less expensive and a totally viable option. It felt as if Aspen Dental didn't make enough money from scamming everyone and trying to badger them into the most expensive possible route of treatment. After booking the bridge appointments, they cancelled on me not once, not twice, but three times. Apparently this was due to the lab making the bridge. If you had doubts about their ability to make the bridge on time, perhaps schedule the appointment further out? One time they cancelled because they realized the bridge was "falling apart" and made of the "wrong materials." I asked the receptionist what would happen if it fell apart while in my mouth. Would I get my $6,000 back? She looked at me like I had five heads. The best was when they called to confirm an appointment that week for a cleaning but I had to cancel because I moved across the country. The receptionist's response was "is there any particular reason you chose not to tell us?" Is there any particular reason your office pushes patients to choose the most expensive procedures possible and habitually cancels appointments? The Auburn, MA office was just fine, but I will be staying away from Aspen Dental for good.

Aspen dental has history of unfair deceptive billing practices. I went to purchase dentures and was quoted a price inclusive of a participating provided discount and the amount that my insurance company would pay out. My insurance company did in fact pay out the amount that they said they would. I paid the balance minus the participating provider discount in cash. One month later I receive a bill for the participating provider amount equaling $773. Right now I'm getting to run around as to why I have to pay this participating provider amount. I had communicated to the office person that I did not want to Bill and feel very deceived as if I would have known that I would have had to pay another $773 I would have gone to another dental establishment. In addition the dentures are not the greatest I have to purchase another pair of dentures from another dental establishment. As with any large corporation I am currently being given the runaround but I will pay these people $1 a month to keep it off my credit report and I will not pay them a sent more.
