As an young autistic person, the dentist can be a horrifying place especially when you need a mouth full of fillings but throughout the entire month I was getting work done i never felt lost or scared or uncomfortable. Everyone in the office was super clear on explaining billing and getting me in once a week to get all the work done as fast as possible. Dr. Arias is by far the best dentist I've ever had, she as well as the other hygienists and dental assistants never made me feel bad about my teeth and even sang and played music to make me feel more comfortable and drown out the drilling sounds. My fillings came out awesome, Dr. Arias truly has an eye for detail and a passion for helping her patients. It's rare to find an office filled with such wonderful people and I will definitely be coming back.

The person did my cleaning was a temporary staff and she did not do a good job for my cleaning. She rushed through the whole procedure. She did my cleaning in 13 minutes. I have been a patient here for the past 5 years. The qulity of work has diminished, its not comparable to the past. The loby was also very dirty when i was checking in. I will not going back to this place anymore.

Well, I went in for an evaluation and they determined (what I already knew) that I needed dentures. I am a 51 year old man that admittedly didn't take very good of my teeth. I needed braces as a kid but parents couldn't afford them which more than likely accelerated my dental decay. I have broken teeth and bone loss due to this. The staff at Aspen dental were so great and helpful. I haven't had my extractions performed yet but so far I am pleased with the doctor and the staff. Great experience so far!!

The most disorganized dental office I've ever been to. Went to the office in person to schedule a CLEANING, appointment got postponed, then arrived on the new day to be told that I was only getting xrays and an exam because the don't do exams and cleanings on the same days (though I've NEVER been to a dental office that split them up like this, and was never told that I would not be receiving a cleaning even though that's exactly what I asked for). Returned for the cleaning and had to wait 45 minutes because the dental hygienist was running two patients behind, but they never bothered to call me saying that (I would have rather them call to say to come in a bit later rather than being told when I got there that I'd be waiting forever). They seem to have no regards for anyone's time. Pros: even though they're disorganized, the staff/dentists are nice and it was fairly easy to get an appointment (compared to being booked out months in advance). The office is nice and clean.

I feel like going to the dentist can be like going to a used car salesman.. and so it was with Aspen dental. I chose the practice based on location and that they took my ins. They are the first dentist to require a check up and then schedule cleaning and polishing as two visits - so 3 visits total - to get done what i usually get done in 1. i feels like they are trying to get more visits from me. But o was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until the $160 electric toothbrush showed up on my bill. The first dental office to not review charges and try to slip in an unnecessary item. Shame on you Aspen

I had an emergency dental situation that needed immediate attention. I called Aspen Dental Thursday evening about 8pm and got an appointment Friday morning at 9:15am. My dental situation was completed and I was at work by 11:15 am. I was extremely pleased with the service, care and attention I received. I will be returning to Aspen Dental to handle all my dental needs.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I live out of town and scheduled a new patient appointment/6 month cleaning and check up over a month in advance during the week I was off work. The hygienist was not in the office and I was not informed of this before arrival. When trying to reschedule a hygienist appointment, there was no attempt to get me in as soon as possible which was frustrating considering there was no communication prior to my arrival to the appointment. They made sure to collect my copay for the visit in which nothing was accomplished, though! I will not be returning to this office, but I would like to acknowledge that the tech who saw me was very pleasant. Aside from that, not a great experience.

Aspen has great reviews on Google. Hardly any of the 5-star reviews have comments to them (suspicious), while the negative comments have monologues written. This, be forewarned, will be such a monologue. I attended an early-morning appointment at the South Tampa location because of an extremely painful dry socket (got teeth removed somewhere else a week ago). The customer service rep who I called to make the appointment was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in the door, the receptionist did not greet me. This person was unfriendly, and immediately I got a bad feeling. But I sat in the waiting room, thinking to myself that as long as they can help my pain, it'll be fine. I read a plaque on the wall that said something to the effect of, "At Aspen, we'll greet you with a smile and make you feel cared for." I'm not knocking anyone for having a bad day, but I've never seen such a cold receptionist, let alone at a dentist. Fine, whatever. When I was called back, I noticed that the walls desperately needed a paint job. Chipped paint and scratches covered them. Not super important, but not a great thing for the cleanliness image of the place. Some time goes by, and it's time for x-rays. The x-ray machine was not working properly. The dental assistant did their best to make it work, and I felt sorry for them. When I finally got to meet with the doctor, he did not introduce himself. He didn't exactly exude bedside manner. Shoot, I don't think he had a smidge of bedside manner in him. He looked at my socket and said he wants to numb me, POKE AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE SOCKET TO MAKE IT BLEED and form a new blood clot, and SUTURE IT. Now, I've been doing my research. Never have I ever read anywhere that THAT is a treatment option that dentists carry out. I only saw cleaning and dressing as a treatment. But I don't want to be a know-it-all jackass and say "well I read online blah blah blah" so I ask if it's absolutely necessary to do that. He says that if he doesn't do that, it won't heal properly. My gut is screaming at me. I have no dental knowledge, but somehow stabbing around in an open wound doesn't seem the best course of action. I ask if I can call my mother and see what she thinks. He says yes and takes my paperwork to the front desk to give me a moment. I assume, of course, that he will come back so I can ask him some questions. But instead, one of the front desk ladies comes to get me. Ope! I guess he's done, then? She takes me to the front desk and I ask her if I'll get to speak to the doctor again. She says, "No, he's in and out of surgery right now. Like a full-mouth, teeth-pulling surgery." Oh. So he popped his head out to look at my stupid dry socket and then went right back in before I could ask him a single question. I felt sympathy for the poor soul in surgery, too. The dentist has this person's life in the palm of his hands, and he's multitasking between patients. I saw him enter the patient room next to me, as well. I thought this might be a hazard for cross-contamination, since he left the surgical suite and entered patient rooms. Anyway, I told the front desk woman I'd consider the treatment plan of re-traumatizing my despicable dry socket and got the hell out of there. I called up the oral surgeon that removed my teeth last week and asked them what they think about this re-traumatization plan. Immediately, they shouted through the phone, "No! Oh, no no. Absolutely do not do that." She reaffirmed that the only thing dentists or oral surgeons can do to treat dry sockets is clean them and pack them with a medicated filling. Man, sure am glad I listened to my gut on that one. The scary thing to me is that if I were in enough pain when I went today, I might have said yes. I might have done just about anything to make the pain go away. But because today my pain is better, I was able to think it through and realize...oh hell. This does not seem good. Anyway. 0/10, would never recommend.

A$$Pen Dental Doctors work on 2-3 patients at the same time. Will use scare tactics to exaggerate work needed for more patient costs.

Total ripoff. Pay 10 k out of pocket because I have no insurance which I saved up from tax returns for years. For 6 months they told me once my mouth heals l'd get a new set of dentures. The "temporary dentures" bottoms broke three times. When 6 months was up... They threw in a hard liner and gave me back my same broken dentures. Not happy.
