I have to say I definitely had a 5 star experience. From the start to the end of the visit. They all were so welcoming and understanding of my dental emergency, took their time and went over how to correct the issue. Together we came up with a plan and I will be a client for life. Thank you to the staff of Aspen Dental in Surprise AZ you all are absolutely beautiful people.

I have a pre-authorizionto by my dental insurance that I only have to pay a very small portion. Aspen dental does not want to do their foot work with my insurance and are charging me the full amount. Which I won't due. Now I realized why we have credits all the time. The assistant manager Daniel is the worst. His excuse to any questions about how to help me is "I'm busy with cliebts". I'm a client too, I should matter. I was dealing with the same excuses for over a month and they won't let me sign for my files to go somewhere else.do not go there. Their more about money then treating you like a person.

Absolute joke - Complete Bait & Switch scam. They use a free exam code to try and pull as much money out of insurance companies as possible. I made an appointment to have a tooth extracted and instead They wanted to charge me double when i arrived. I didn't come in for an exam I came in for a consultation about my tooth extraction. They use the word free to lure you in so that they can squeeze more money out of insurance companies. BEWARE, This place is a complete racket just like the rest of them. They are completely dishonest and only looking for dollars.

They promote false advertisement. I called to ask how much a crown would cost me they tell me 1,300 but they have a promotional special for $890. When I get there and they examine me , they give me a $ 1,700 quote & they are clueless about the promotion they offered me on the phone. Thanks for wasting my gas Aspen! And no interest in phony feedback from owner.

Customer follow-through is poor. On my last three cleanings I have had to dispute a charge for fluoride ($50 every time). I do not have the fluoride applied, however the hygienist documents that I do - and I have gotten charged for it. I ...

All of the staff at the office are so welcoming and kind. They take the time to walk you through all your options, making sure you thoroughly understand everything. Just a great place and overall feel.

This is for the Surprise Aspen location. I found this location to be upbeat, as they were very positive and professional in every way. The front person was sincerely empathic, the assistant was positive, and the dentist was thorough and explained the procedure with reassuring remarks all the time she was taking care of an infected tooth. This Aspen location I would highly recommend.

I had all of my remaining teeth pulled and fitted for dentures from another Aspen Dental location with nothing but problems. I was then moved to the Surprise location and Dr. Chan. I cannot tell you what a difference that made. Dr. Chan took time with me and she did new fitting and made sure everything was great with my final set of dentures. Her assistant was very personable and great to deal with. I was in such a state of upset dealing with all that went on at the Glendale office and was so surprised by Dr. Chan and her treatment of me. She wanted only the best for me. I can't thank Dr Chan and her assistant enough. I am finally pleased.

I have had to take time to call them on these encounters when they should just bill appropriately. On the third encounter, I had them on speaker phone over my lunch at work as this was the only time I had to call. My co-workers heard the interactions of how unprofessional and rude the receptionist was. When I ended my call, my co-worker spoke up and said "Wow, she was snarky." "Where was that?" They did repeal the fluoride charge on those three encounters. But this leaves me with 'why are they documenting and billing for services not rendered in the first place?' On my last scheduled appointment - scheduled for June 13th at 4:30 pm. I arrive to their Westgate location in Glendale, and the office is closed. I see that they have new office hours of being closed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, etc. I even got the emails and text messages reminding me of my appointment on Monday. I was upset because of the arrangements I need to make to get off of work for these appointments. I call the Aspen Dental 1-800 number and am connected with the Surprise location. They attempt to get me in for 3 pm on Thursday, but I explain that I work Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm. The receptionist comes back and offers a 6 pm appointment on Thursday. I accept that appointment. On Thursday, I receive a text message indicating that my appointment was at 5 pm. I was upset with this, but make it through my day and figure out how to get out of work 30 minutes early. When I am at the Surprise location, I met Jazmin, one of the techs - she was kind and courteous. The provider was Dr. Chan - who was very compassionate, professional, and provided a good interaction. The hygienist that came into see me first, never introduced herself. When I am done with x-rays and the provider discussion, the office manager Yasmin comes out and gets me to go over billing. I thought this was strange because I still had a cleaning to get. Then she said that the visit was over, and I am left thinking where is my cleaning? I set up this appointment for a cleaning. I was upset and verbalized to Yasmin that so many things have fallen through the cracks. She apologized but was not sincerely with that apology. They were able to subsequently take me back for a cleaning. At the end of treatment, the hygienist was giving me a fluoride paste to take home with me. I has explained to Yasmin that I do not want anything fluoride (based on prior experiences, and current experiences), however it still happened during my care. I am not thrilled with all of these recent interactions - too many headaches, and nothing consistent. Aspen Dental used to be a great place to go. I have been going there for a few years now and could easily remain a loyal customer, but recent events have dissuaded me from those thoughts.
