Horrible experience, I would literally recommend any other dentist in Sioux Falls. Their estimate was off by a thousand dollars. Terrible customer Service in the office. Waited for 45 minutes with my mouth numb so they could take ANOTHER x-ray because they were unprepared. Ended up not being numb anymore by the time I was getting the stitches. Woodhall didn't seem to give a rip either. Wouldn't recommend him to anyone either. I will NEVER come back overall 0/10 experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Literally the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist's office from billing to the actual procedure it couldn't have been any worse.

Got their money upfront..pulled teeth...fine. then nothing...won't even return my messaged calls. Bad enough dentures are an experience all their own. This is not the aspen dental you see on t.v.

The staff were all very friendly and professional. They made sure to check whether my insurance would cover everything so I could know the costs up front, which I really appreciated. The dental hygienist was especially good. She talked to me about good oral hygiene practices without talking down to me, which has not been my usual experience at dentist offices.

All I can say is *Wow* I was so impressed with the kind, courteous service! Anna is a real gem ---she was my first impression when I walked through the door! Beautiful, colorful, kind soul, quirky and fun! She welcomed me and made me feel welcome. Given my situation-I needed this! I am 54 and sick and tired of working my life away to pay dental bills. As a child, the opportunity for dentistry was not an option for poor farmers. In my late 20's, after I had all my children, I finally had the opportunity to get my teeth worked on. Implants, crowns--root canals, all of which are packing up and cashing out on me now. I just lost my mother so I have had to worry about helping pay for her funeral and headstone (might not matter to some, but to me it does) so that affects my options as well. This staff was incredible and understanding. I was sad and embarrassed at the demise of my teeth. My dentist; Incredible, real, and personable. I have never had that from a dentist! I want my dentist to relate on these matters. I got that here. The staff all worked together as a team to get things done. I knew my past dentist was no longer my dentist after coming here. Not sure why some people left such negative reviews. These people are young people that obviously value having a job and are damn good at it. I will be getting an upper denture and I am okay with it. The cost of my service will be half of what my old dentist wanted to repair my teeth, I am tired of brittle, breaking and aching teeth and ready to be happy about my smile again. Thank you Aspen Dental! I will update my review as I proceed through the process!

Dr. Woodhull and team are amazing. I was able to get in and have my issue addressed. While I understood that they are not an emergency clinic they were able to support me and address my issue the same day. Did I have to wait long, sure did. I also understood that I was only in their schedule for the consult and they were willing to take care of me as well even with what was clearly a busy day. Could not be more happy and I can't wait to go back to have them help me with the rest of my teeth.

I went in for a chipped tooth came out with the dentist saying I need 3 crowns and 2 fillings wouldn't fix my chipped tooth first so worked on 2 crowns after 2 weeks of extreme pain went in to get permanent ones still in pain still taking ibeprofen everyday had to go back in this is week 3 they tell me I know need a root canal. I will never go back there I didn't even need the crowns know I have to spend even more money on a root canal because of their incompetent dentists. Then they said I'll probably get an ulcer for taking Tylenol as ibuprofen everyday but said they wouldn't give me pain medicine because of addiction. I've never been addicted to pain medication .Don't ever go there

This is supposed to be an emergency dental office. After arriving at the decision that this toothache was not going to disappear, my daughter went in and was told, yes, the tooth needed to be pulled. She had to pay $2000 UP FRONT but that because it was a Friday night and Dr. Woodhull needed to get home to movie night with his family, she would need to wait for the extraction until the following Monday morning. She was given an anxiety medication to get her through the weekend. There was no noticeable help with either pain nor anxiety. After 2 1/2 days of extreme pain, she arrived at 9 o'clock this morning to get some help. She was taken back to the room, only to have an assistant come in and tell her Dr. Woodhull had called in sick. Why he could not have notified her before she'd made arrangements to be there promptly at 9 is ridiculous. Now she is at another Aspen office and hopefully will receive some much needed help. She was told the bone graft would be $700. I myself had a tooth extracted early this year. My dentist is reasonably spendy and very good. I had not only his advice but also an additional professional involved. The entire procedure was less than $1000. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless it was a very last resort. It would seem they take advantage of someone in distress with little to no thought for the emergency for the person seeking help. And the price is double. Live and learn.

I need a root canal. I decided to just have the tooth pulled. However they said that they were not going to give me gas because they don't do gas there They gave me shots to numb the tooth however my tooth still hurt and they were still going to pull my back tooth. I asked if I could have pain meds after the pull and they said they don't do that either. I gave them $200 up front and decided to leave. I asked for my money back and they said they already processed the check and they were going to have to send a check. This was only a half an hour after they were paid. All in all I am very dissatisfied with the service they provided.

The Aspen Dental clinic on East Arrow Pkwy in Sioux Falls does not appear to conduct ethical practice. I have been diligently taking care of my dental health with my previous dentists, and I am fully aware of my existing dental issues. Also, I have been having regular teeth cleanings every 6 months, and none of my previous dentists recommended unnecessary service. However, Aspen Dental on East Arrow Pkwy in Sioux Falls refused to provide me with regular teeth cleaning, which was the main reason of my visit, but they instead demanded me to have a more expensive Periodontal Maintenance Procedure (every 6 months for an indefinite period of time, rather than this once). Not only that, they even attempted to charge me for an electronic toothbrush without receiving my consent in the first place, until I explicitly asked the person (Keisha) to take it out from the bill. Patient autonomy is non-existent at Aspen Dental, as I was not allowed to decide how much care and which care that I receive. In addition, Aspen Dental misrepresented itself for offering patients "FREE" first-time check-ups. I was explicitly told by the person (Heather) that the check-up was free, and that there should be no charge whatsoever. However, after my first-visit, I was told by them that they would still charge my insurance for the visit, even though they advertised it as "free" (both verbally and as advertised on the front of their clinic). Their definition of "free" is that they would write off anything that is not covered by insurance, but my insurance will still pay for it. This is certainly a red-flag as their supposed "free" visit still exhausts my benefit limits allowed by insurance and I would pay more out-of-pocket if I switch to another dental office. Moreover, the dentist took off his mask twice while talking to me in the room, which made me uncomfortable. My previous dentist was wearing a N95, goggles and a face shield while talking to patients and performing procedures at a time when COVID-19 was less severe. I have no confidence that Aspen Dental takes the patients' health and wellbeing seriously. After I gave them a low rating on their in-company review, their corporate customer service sent me an email. However, I replied to the email and left the customer service representative two voicemails, but still no response. No wonder that the practice of the local clinic was out of control, because Aspen Dental is rotten from top to bottom.

BEST dentist office I've ever been to! I've put my 100% trust in them to make my smile what I've dreamed of and they succeeded. Dr.Woodhull and his assistants and office staff are the most amazing kind hearted and fun people I've ever met. I used to be afraid of the dentist until I came here ! Here's the before and after of my crowns I just got done . I would recommend this dental office to everybody. I'll be going back for so much more cosmetic dental work ! This is also where I'll be bringing my son and family ! They work with you on a very personal level and make you feel like family ! Love you all so much!

The space is clean and the staff is friendly. That being said for a deep cleaning with early periodontal disease they quoted me a ridiculous price over $1000 after they assessed the damage. I told them I couldn't afford that at the time, and they started bartering on price with me to the point where I felt like they were trying to sell me a used car. I went to another local dentist and all the same work out the door was under $300. I will never go back to aspen dental.
