Was told that I would not be getting billed for my visit then I got a bill in the mail from my insurance. Told me they would be doing a cleaning on my visit and wasted my time which I had to take a day off from work

I once had a Dentist to the Stars. Top 2% in the nation kinda guy. All the accreditations and a great office in the NW Chicago Suburbs. Aspen in Sebring is a well run office and I feel as though I get good care here. The doctors do seem to rotate through every year or two, but the staff works well together. I've had below gum work, fillings, crowns and an implant now. The implant began with a referral to a top notch local oral surgeon, Dr Kirsch. Dr. Kirsch definitely has his game together. Aspen has kept me confident in their overall abilities, and I will continue to return to them. Update.. I just had the most painful and unprofessional pair of dental visits of my life. Lack of coordination and communication on the part of Aspen employees led to the spinning of an implant inside the hole created by a very good oral surgeon. I've fully paid for the placement of a manufactured tooth on this implant. But after my experience here and now - it's not a surprise why I used to pay top dollar for the most premium care available. I may soon return to that ethos. . In addition, I'm appalled at how the television and music chosen since Chyna has gone is leaning so far from neutral. Most of the clientele at this location are older and don't necessarily appreciate racially or gender bent variety shows on the lobby TV or heavily slanted radio stations flowing from the office speakers. The old Aspen generated programming was boring but neutral. Why would an expensive franchise even allow a new employee to choose and slant such an important aspect of public image. I'm truly wrestling with the notion of abandoning the money already spent, and abandoning Aspen Sebring. . Additional update.. And do you know?? We had 18 months to get this right. 18 months for the whole process to play out. I traveled across the country for every requested visit and sometimes again because they hadn't properly anticipated the need for this part or that. All with the stated expectation that before Christmas 2022 the final tooth should be set, for an overseas trip to my wife's home country, where we will meet with many of her friends. Often for the first time. Just imagine all the photos with a black hole directly beside my front teeth. . It truly is your life, and the quality of that life, that we all entrust to medical professionals. This spinning implant should be caution enough to all that read this. Choose carefully. Further update I sent a detailed explanation of these events to Aspen's Refund Request Email Address. After verifying my identity they issued a full refund the next business day.

Save your money for a competent dentist. Sebring Aspen Dental made a full upper denture for me and it was nowhere close to fitting even with adjustment. I went to another Aspen Dental and that office threw out the denture that Sebring made and had to start from scratch. This dentist knew what he was doing and the denture fit perfect! Stay away from the Sebring location!

Each visit I am greater with smiling faces and great attitudes. The staff is very professional and helpful. They take time to talk to you and make you feel comfortable. I am very happy to have chosen Aspen Dental.

Dr. Sosa is so awesome, I was in pain for months and she recommended an oral surgeon, but she knew I was in so bad pain and did it her self she is great thank you Dr. Sosa, you're the best.

Paid $83.00 in advance for consultation with their root canal specialist. That was about 2 months ago. No consultation yet. I will be asking for a refund and I hope I don't have problems with that. Update: Aspen Dental Customer Service Rep called me. I went over the problem I was having with Aspen Dental. She was very kind and they are refunding my money.

The medical team at Aspen Dental was utterly amazing! I have never seen such a wonderful group of professionals working under the same roof for a set purpose! From the moment you enter, you feel at home, at peace, and a feeling that you are in the right place! The team made up of Akeanma, Jackie, Josie, Vanessa, Taryn , and Dr. Priscilla Sosa were simply amazing!! I had the privilege and great honor to meet them all, what wonderful ladies and professional people! When I left, it was with a great feeling of wellness and happiness, as I knew I had entrusted my dental health to the All Stars of dental professionals! Thank you, to you all, you are super, super wonderful!!

The office manager Vanessa is the worst and rudest person, I have ever dealt with. On 7/19/2022 I called and she hung up on me, I could not say anything, very spiteful with office staff when I would not work with her. There is nobody there you can talk to about the office manager, Vanessa. Akeanma, Blair and Stashia we're fantastic. Added discounts back into my bill. Made 3 extra trips to office, trying to get dentures. Thanks to dawn for working with me. Still don't understand why in networking insurance discounts was added back into bill. Guess we are stuck.

Though it is a noble and needed profession, going to the dentist is one of the least desireable necessities in life for most people. That is not a reflection on either dentists, their staffs or the services they provide, but rather just a harsh reality of the apprehension people generally have. The folks at Aspen Dental go the extra mile to instill confidence and to remove those apprehensions. My visit there was pleasant and encouraging, though I have a lot of work that needs to be done. The dentist and staff were courteous, pleasant, prompt and took time to explain every detail and answer every question, all the while being personable and friendly. They indeed have my confidence and endorsement.

Vanessa in billing was funny and helpful. Stashia was comforting and friendly. Dr Sosa was patient and caring. I have horrific dental anxiety and the whole staff was great. I will definitely be returning for further care. Thank you ladies. I appreciate all of you!

Addendum: When I left the facility, I noticed that a filling that had been on the side of one of my very back teeth was missing. Apparently, it had come out during the examination, but they did not tell me. I have regretted many times not turning around immediately and going back to tell them. It's true, I was very impressed with their facility and the quality, but there's one thing totally negates the positive review that I had given them. This was my first time at Aspen Dental. I was so impressed by the whole staff. Everyone I had interaction with was professional, kind, and caring. The facility was very clean and state-of-the-art with their technology. Because I am having a tough time financially, I was afraid this would be an issue, but they truly put my health needs first. This inspires me with confidence that I will find a way to pay for this dental work, which I badly need.

If I could put negative number, I would!!! They were very polite and nice, they take my husband's insurance but... when we came for the first appointment my husband was denied the appointment itself because I showed the papers saying that I have the power of medical attorney. No reason was given, they just said that they insist on being able to communicate with the patient himself. Can they legally deny patient just because my husband has a condition that requires me to make legal decisions for him? I am furious!!! I already complained to my husband's insurance plan and now am going to take this to the Dentists Association. From my point of view it is very fishy that they don't want to deal with a patient's representative in their right mind. And now I have to look for another dentist, who would take this insurance and I am not sure that I can find one close to us. Disgusting experience!!!

I am very happy with my service from Aspen. It's been a while since I could get in to see a dentist, so I needed a few things done for my teeth. Originally, I didn't think I could get it all done because of budget, but Dr. Malek and his associates did what they could and really helped me out. Now I'm more excited for my new smile! Highly recommend, the staff are very friendly and understanding~

Sebring, Fl location. with Dr. Priscilla Sosa. Amazing staff. Great experience. I was able to set an appointment in short notice as a new patient. They are amazing in explaining everything that will be done and that helped me be much more calm and relaxed. They worked with my schedule and were able to have me come back after lunch for the extraction. Completely pain free. I will definitely make follow ups.

Everyone was nice as can be, very professional I would recommend them to everyone that needs dental care I've been to many dentists and Aspen was by far the best!!!
