I had a toothache on a tooth that has had two root canals and two crowns. I had never been to Aspen I was desperate to find someone that could take care of me right away. From the minute I walked into the office everybody was so kind. My Denist, Dr Altieri was kind and knew I was in a lot of pain he was very skilled. The numbing shots never hurt and neither when he pulled my tooth now seven hours later I still have no pain. He was very gentle and very professional. His assistant was wonderful as well ... this will be my dentist office!

Received a cleaning 6 weeks ago with Dental insurance Paid $331 Then had 3 fillings but was told I needed only 2. And the $331 for the teeth cleaning and X rays also include payment toward my fillings Had my fillings for 3 teeth and was billed $497.00 with insurance. This is unacceptable and no indication that I owed anything. I don't think anyone likes surprises from there dental office such as this one. Sounds like a ridiculously amount of money to charge people. They indicated the insurance didn't pay what they thought they would? This should not happen to their customers. I have never paid this kind of money for any dental work with insurance. I will look into this more and start looking for a honest dentist office. Communication is a must. The girl at the desk told me is was covered .

I had to have work done that originally started out-of-state and I transferred to this practice when I moved. Everyone in this office is fantastic! I didn't have high hopes as my previous Aspen office was more like a dental factory & not much of the warm & fuzzy. I had to return for a few visits over the past few weeks and every time they are just wonderful. The doc is thorough and explains exactly what he needs to do along with doing his best with managing pain. Office staff is always great at explaining charges.

My.first visit with ASPEN DENTAL was 8/30/22. My first experience was with Heather on the phone. She was very nice,pleasant, and efficient. In office the first person I had contact with was Jahseena,Lead DA. She was awesome!! She was personable,extremely knowledgeable, and gentle with exam,x-rays and other begining procedures. Next I saw Dr. Attieri,and she was great. Very knowledgeable and help me set up a plan for a filling,and dental needs. When I left I sat down with Blake ( the office manager) and he was just awesome setting me up with a payment plan that fit my budget. I am not a fan of going to the dentist ,but this was such a pleasant experience in this office. My anxiety went away rapidly. I would definetly recommend the Sarasota Aspen Dental office to anyone. Thanks for a great experience. This office is on . S. Tamiami Trail.

Great experience with with all the office techs. The manager explained all the options and fees with a dental plan option. Dr. Altieri was very thorough explaining my x-rays and gentle on my 2 tooth extractions. Will definitely use Aspen Dental for any dental procedures.

Everyone was so kind and professional. I was scared, nervous and embarrassed and the Aspen Staff made me feel comfortable and gave me a solution for my dental situation that will result in my having confidence in my smile and appearance again.

I am no longer happy with Aspen Dental in Pelican Plaza. My initial visit was in February, where I had all of my teeth pulled, since they were falling out any way. I was given a set of temporary dentures. As my gums were healing, I went in to have the temporary dentures adjusted. In May, when I was there to have them adjusted again, I was given an appointment for July 11th, to be fitted for my permanent set of dentures. 4 days before I was to go in, somebody new to the office called me to reschedule my appointment for a week later. My temporary dentures no longer fit right, the bottom didn't stay in for more than 2 hours and the top dentures were no longer aligned with my mouth. They are now off centered. I went in on Monday July 18th to be fitted for my permanent teeth. I was told that they would be ready the next day, however my next appointment was made after I left the office, for Friday, July 22nd at 11 am. The day before, Aspen called me with another scheduling conflict and changed my appointment time again. I went in on the new scheduled time, and was asked to step behind the door, so they could explain to me that their computer messed up and gave them an error message, so my dentures were not ready. In February, on my initial visit, I paid for my top of the line dentures and all the care in full. I feel like I am just a bother to them. . They have my money, and now I don't matter. I would not recommend this office to any of my friends. All of the front office people are new. The dentist is different, Dr. Reyes is no longer there, Aaron is no longer there.

Karra took my x-rays and explained what was going on with my tooth. Then I was seen by DR.Alteri. which then went in more depth detail on what steps need to be taken.The staff were kind and they also set me up with a payment plan because I get paid once every two weeks. I was able to get my tooth extraction done in 3 days time. During the process I was awake and fully numb. He extracted it with in 30 minutes of me being there. I strongly recommend Dr. Alteri to anybody.

I was seen today for tooth pain. I got a next-day appointment and they worked to find a location and time that worked for me. I had the pleasure of being seen first by dental assistant Dar'Kirra. She was very patient, professional and awesome at her job. The following doctors were just as knowledgeable and kind. I will be returning to Aspen for future care.

I had an excellent experience from scheduling my appointment to having X-rays done, to meeting with the hygienist and then the dentist. I didn't have to wait long for any of these and I have all new appointments scheduled. All of the staff is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Sarasota

Dr. Altieri and staff at Aspen Dental, Sarasota office were professional, caring, and offered their free Day of Service to Veterans, again this year. I was able to get an appointnent, where full sets of Xrays, a screening exam and findings were discussed that day. After close to 2 years without care (moved twice, one from out of State), I needed a cleanning/polish, and a canine tooth fill at gumline. Angie, my hygienist, was thorough, careful, and took her time explaining techniques for better maintainance, and proper use of sonic toothbrush. I've scheduled with her for 6 month cleaning. At the day of filling, my techs were attentive, thorough in explaining the consent forms, and answered my questions about the anesthesia, referred some to the Dr. Dr. Altieri was the absolute kindest, professional man! He explained the choice of anesthesia (I have history of sensitivity/reactions to meds) he numbed the gums, and expertly/efficiently filled, matched my enamel color, polished and showed me the 'new tooth' within a very short time. I cannot express enough latitude, though I thanked the whole clinic staff -from front desk personnel to all techs I encountered over the 3 visits, for the generous 'adoption' of me as their 'Vet for the Day'. This office is convenient on Rt 41, well staffed, and I highly recommend Dr Altieri if you are new to the area, or looking for a new caring professional dentist. Thanks again Aspen Dental Sarasota.

Staff is nice but once your first visit is over it's like pulling teeth to get anyone on the phone. You call and they will place you on hold for over 40 minutes and then just hang up the phone. We've been requesting our X-rays for 3 weeks now with the only response being an apology email not containing the requested documents that are sent via email to the patient anyways. Their prices are high and the service is horrific. I would never recommend them to anyone! It's easier to work with the IRS.

I went in to get an issue looked at. They took x-rays and looked at the issue and told me they would call me with an estimate. I have called multiple times and been unable to reach anybody in this office. They're completely unresponsive. I have not received any estimate or any communication from this office whatsoever other than automated text schedule my next appointment. This has got to be some of the worst customer service I've ever seen from a dentist.
