My mother went to Aspen Dental because her insurance told her they were one of the covered dentist offices. She went to see the dentist there. She then got a large bill for her dentist fee as he did not accept her insurance. They informed us AFTER THE FACT, that they have traveling dentists to fill the slots, and they CANNOT tell you ahead of your services if the dentist will accept your insurance or not, and you will NOT know until you get a bill afterwards. They confirmed with me that have absolutely no way of letting the client know if your dentist of the day will accept your insurance before your appointment or if you will just get charged for the whole thing. We discussed with her insurance company and they suggested just going somewhere else next time, which we certainly did. Since the dentist du jour has no incentive to accept a negotiated rate or payment from your insurance, they have no incentive to accept your insurance, and can just charge you whatever rate they want. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ASPEN DENTAL to anyone. All of the dental offices I have gone to have given me an estimated cost prior to my appointment after reviewing my insurance policy. There is absolutely no reason that a large company such as Aspen Dental could not know who their dentists are and what insurances they accept. After all, they have to review their credentials and ensure they have degrees, up to date licenses, malpractice insurance, etc. This is not a difficult task for a company to do. It is a deceptive business practice. It sounds like it should be reported to the Attorney General's office or at least a class action lawsuit.

Wonderful place. The staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable with everything. Alyson M, did an amazing job on my X-rays. She made me relaxed and less scared. Great job all around.

On my third day of healing this was quite honestly the best dental office I've been to, the gentleman who worked on my mouth was kind and talked me through everything as it was happening, also very quick. Every woman in the office is just a sweetheart and the office manager helped me sign up for the financing I needed and I was seen the next day. THANK YOU ALL.

My experience was good but still unable to get relief because cost was too high and they never explain how to get financed

Finally got something done no other dentist would do this dentist was a very determined and I want to thank him very much even though it didn't get any pain meds still in a lot of pain but I'm just thankful he took the time to do what another dentist wouldn't he was very thorough and knowledgeable main thing he made me feel comfortable and I did not have a panic attack that meant a lot to me

The staff was very patient with me while being very informative about everything. After the initial exam and exray that was free, they sat down and give me a printed detailed price list for everything that was to be expected. I am beyond impressed so far.

1 star is to high. I scheduled an appointment for a dental emergency and was on an emergency call list and waited for over 2 months. They cancelled my appointment 2 days prior to the appointment after I waited and could then reschedule me for my dental emergency 2 and a half months later after my SCHEDULED appointment. Unprofessional after I explicitly asked about this during my initial scheduling. Being newly back to the area, I was very disappointed in the Poplar Bluff office.

The people were very nice and answered all our questions. I did feel like it was kinda rushed on the money part of it. I would have liked to looked at other places to compare but felt like we had to commit.

Would not recommend to no one paid for comfylites , allegedly top denture took almost an year to get revived them warped hurt my mouth,went to take them back refused to even remake them said it was my fault because they was warped and to big because I didn't have bottom partial in when they took the impression and it was not their responsibility to inform me of this !!! Acted very rude and wouldn't help me they Are hidious looks like you would have gotten them for a gag gift I won't be going back and I will be calling the better business bureau!!! Rating -10stars
