Aspen Dental is a real joke. I been here 45 minutes 4 people have come behind me. All were spoken to. But me I have 3 o'clock appointment. I really don't believe that. But it is what it is!!!

Beyond the fact of being most thorough and above professional. Was very caring about and compassionate for my well-being. I was more than pleased with the treatment that I have received from all of the staff.

From the moment I walked in the door, there was laughter and smiles. The lobby was crowded but one receptionist made each of feel important. She acknowledged us without saying anything about the number of people waiting in the lobby but one by one made us feel important and we were next.

Aspen Mt. Pleasant - I went in for cavities and to get my chipped tooth fixed. I came 10 minutes early to my appointment as I was told to do for paperwork, but literally no one was inside for half an hour even though the doors were unlocked and it was business hours. After that, they examined my teeth for a few minutes, hitting and scraping my teeth several times with the mirror tool. I would not be surprised if they have chipped people's teeth before with how carelessly they kept knocking the front and sides of my teeth with the mirror and scraping the mirror tool accross several teeth while doing their exam. Instead of moving around the gum line, they just hit or scraped it accross the adjacent teeth everytime they moved the mirror tool to a different area of my mouth. Then they pressured me about scheduling regular cleaning appointments, and refused to speak to me about the chips or cavities at all, even when I kept asking. This appointment was supposed to be a consultation about my chipped teeth and cavities. Note - the last Aspen location I visited years ago told me I had 5 cavities, at the time I didn't have insurance so I left them. Today, this Aspen location said I have only 2. I doubled checked in case I misheard and they said just 2. The previous Aspen location was obviously trying to get extra money by lying about the number of cavities I had. This makes me doubt the credibility of every Aspen location from now on. At the last location and this one, they tried to sneak a $100+ toothbrush into the price of my next cleaning appointment, which they intensely pressured me to schedule the entire time instead of addressing the reasons I came in. They would not even look at my chips/cavities until after 45 minutes of harassing me to schedule a cleaning. They even went as far as to say that before they will even look at my chipped tooth and cavities, they would need to set me up for a cleaning appointment. (Mind you, the appointment I scheduled over the phone was for a "consultation for my chipped teeth and cavities" to get a look at them and decide what best to do). By the end, they quoted me a price of $400 out of pocket even w/ Tricare (military) insurance, which typically covers almost everything anywhere else I've received medical services. At the end, they walked me to an office and sat me down and tried to get me to sign a contract promising an immediate down payment of $100 on a cavity filling appointment that I haven't even had yet. I will definitely be having my cavities and chipped tooth fixed somewhere else. Do not trust this place.

I set an alarm for an early morning appointment because I can't go during work hours. I arrived and the receptionist said she did not have an appointment for me and asked if I "spoke to someone". I said I made the appointment online. She said "the system automatically cancels if we don't hear from you." I literally don't know what that means but apparently there was supposed to be communication between my making the appointment online and the appointment itself and I was supposed to initiate that or my appointment would be cancelled automatically. Nobody bothered to tell me this. And the receptionist didn't seem phased. She acted like this was normal and offered to reschedule. Obviously I'm not going to make another appointment that may be cancelled by the time I show up so I declined. I did not have the chance to rate their dental care, but a clear F for customer service.

The service and experience was honest to God horrible if I new then what I know now I would of chosen another dental clinic. They get agitated when you ask questions and ask for adjustments and they literally just left me to leave with was residue all over my mouth and lips and clothing no clean up or rinse or anything just horrible experience. First and last time

Front office has very poor customer service. I was mischarged for an appt back in March, explained how my charge was twice what my EOB stated and they told me they would look into it. Called again to follow up and they didn't know what I was talking about. Had to reimburse my FSA card due to the issue and the office still can't explain why the charges were different. This is not the only issue I've had with the front office but the medical staff is very friendly and helpful.

Terrible experience, the entire business model of Aspen Dental is based on mis-diagnosing patients with scare tactics and tacking on extra out-of-pocket procedures that are not necessary. I was told by a hygienist that barely looked at my teeth on my initial visit that I had gingivitis and had to schedule a special cleaning before I could get my 2-per-year cleaning as guaranteed by my insurance. I had a second opinion done by a family dentist and was told I did not have gingivitis, but Aspen would not clean my teeth without paying for their special treatment. Do not recommend, stay away from these chain Dental offices.

I have never been to Aspen dental before but my first time was a great experience(even though I almost passed out when I saw how much it cost to get my dental work done) Dr. Iulo, Monique, and Michael made it super simple to understand my treatment plan and Michael helped me with options to help with cost job insurance doesn't cover.

None of these people are actually capable to send claims to insurances, call back their clients like promised and of giving plausible explanations why they can't get any of their stuff right. Unintelligent people work at this location. Pretty sad truth.

Pure rip off. "You will hear Oh your insurance does not cover this." The reason you are hearing this is because they are up selling you for services you really do not need. The Jiffy Lube of Dentistry.

Super nice staff. Dr Adams was kind and gentle. I left that office feeling like these people really care about my needs. I have been looking for that kind of service for years. I won't go anywhere else.

The appointment was made the day prior. I was seen right away when I arrived. The dental tech knows her stuff. No lollygagging there. The dentist diagnosed an issue in very little time. In a short time I was scheduled for follow exam the next week. Efficient. Btw- I do not give many 5 star feedback. This is a very high rating from me.
