Everyone was friendly, and seemed to care about me and my teeth. Also about any pain I was in and how I was feeling. I am switching dentist, they fixed a tooth that my old dentist wanted to put a crown on and do a root canal.

Excellent experience at Aspen Dental in Monroeville, PA recently. Traveling away from primary home and in urgent need of services to re-cement a crown that had popped off, Sarah and the team at Aspen were able to squeeze me into a busy schedule of patients on the first afternoon and successfully re-glue the crown. Great service all around!

I loved all the people who work here. I was nervous and had anxiety but they made me laugh and kept me sane. The hygienist explained everything she was doing before she did it and it was the most painless cleaning I've ever had. She did a great job at making me feel at ease. The doctor was sweet and was patient with me since I've never had a filling before. Highly recommend

Called on the phone and was told they took my insurance. Came in with a broken tooth looking to get it extracted as soon as possible. I know these things take time, but it's becoming an emergency. That's the whole reason I even scheduled the appointment in the first place. The tooth is causing reoccurring infections due to it being in a position where I can't clean it properly but instead of scheduling me to take care of the immediate problem that could potentially kill me if left untreated, I'm getting an entire examination of all my teeth. Which is fine, but I explicitly told them I need to get this broken tooth and potentially the one next to it extracted as well. Instead, I'm told after everything that they don't take my insurance and won't even schedule me for anything unless I finance on a treatment plan of 11k! All this place is looking to do is rob you blind and not help whatsoever. They also told me an extraction of any kind would be a wait of month or longer. If it would save my life, maybe I'd be willing to get on a payment plan. However, there's no way I'm agreeing to an 11,000$ treatment plan.

Please be careful, this is what happened to me. I think I may have been robbed by the branch manager Sarah at the Monroeville location. I paid $15,000 and I received this: First: I was overcharged by $5000, Second: There is a $2500 discrepancy on my bill. I hope I'm not being robbed. Their surgeon agreed to do implant surgery 3 weeks ago. The secretary/branch manager, Sarah somehow chose not to schedule that surgery. I called to ask how to file a grievance and the secretary told me that she was the branch manager and denied that right. It's strange that Sarah is the only person they let me speak with. I'm notifying the state board and proper authorities.

Not kind or friendly. Dental hygienist was rude and rough while giving me a cleaning. Just laid there crying because of how rough she was. Not clear on what was on my bill and outrageous charges. Then have the nerve to send a bill a month after services and give me one week to pay it. What kind of stupidity is that.? Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever endured and urge everyone else to look elsewhere for care. This is NOT a place you want to go.

I was nervous to come to the monroeville location because of some of the bad reviews but from the time I arrived to the time I left they treated me great! I'm glad I decided to take a chance with them. I'll be getting an extraction done in 2 weeks and I'm not nervous anymore to get work done. I'm also pregnant but they made sure they did 1 x-ray on the tooth I'm having problems with just to keep my baby safe and they made sure they covered my whole body! They got me in and out no problems! Ill write another review after the extraction.

Overall visit was ok but since when did they start inaccurately taking BPs?? Worried all night about my elevated BP so much I visited the ER. Turns out my BP is fine so this student being in the room is unnecessary. Hated it!!

Unfortunately despite the friendly office staff and satisfaction overall with my filling and routine office visits, the billing was a disaster for me. Had to pay upfront for procedures that, per my insurance company, should be almost 100% covered. I have now had to now wait 2+ months to be reimbursed. This is the first time I've dealt with this issue at a dental office before. If you choose Aspen Dental, ask for a breakdown of the cost of everything they do before they do it.

My husband was suffering with terrible tooth pain. Since I am a patient, I called and was able to get an appointment for him almost immediately. He was seen by Dr. Dunn, who is such a sweetheart, and she was able to tell him what was wrong, that he had 3 cracked teeth, and she was able to schedule him for extractions later that afternoon. He was so happy with Dr. Dunn, all of the staff, and his treatment and recovery has been flawless. We would recommend Dr. Dunn and Aspen to anybody who needs dental care.

On May 6, 2022, I was scheduled for a dental cleaning at the Aspen Dental- Monroeville location. All was well until I expressed concern over my ability to pay for an antibiotic treatment that the dental hygienist, Carrie Simmons, stated I needed due to not being seen for one year even before doing an exam. Carrie became condescending, and argumentative after I made the decision only to receive the care that my insurance would fully cover and therefore not receive the antibiotic treatment. After polishing and flossing both upper and lower sets of teeth and scaling two of my right molars she refused to complete my cleaning. This is upsetting for a number of reasons but mostly because I was left without a complete treatment and no explanation of the standard of care regarding gingivitis. She repeatedly denied my request for a manager or a dentist. When I finally got the opportunity to sit down with Sarah, who identified herself as the manager, Carrie interjected and told Sarah to not apologize to me. Admittedly, I was extremely uncomfortable and felt violated and humiliated by the way that I was treated today. Nothing was done to deescalate the situation and no one took the time to educate me. I recognize that this is not how anyone should be treated when seeking dental care anywhere. Having to go to the dentist or medical doctor is an experience that so many people dread due to fear of the unknown. Situations like the one that occurred on May 6 exacerbate this culture. I am thankful that I have the know-how to advocate for myself but there are so many people that do not. As a fourth-year medical student, I understand the importance of providing care that is compassionate and respectful of a patient's autonomy. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be something that Aspen Dental emphasizes during training or the day-to-day operation of their facilities. I did request that my insurance not be billed for my partial treatment today so as to not prohibit me from actually receiving care elsewhere. I hope that the situation is fully investigated and that this never happens to another person receiving care in an Aspen Dental facility again. ( I did try to post this review on the Aspen Dental Webpage, but received an error message.)
