Called and scheduled an appointment there two months ago. First question I asked was "do you accept this insurance (ABCBS) they said yes. I waited two months for the appointment, show up, and they say they don't take my insurance. The crazy thing is, I called denta-quest on the back of my insurance card and they are the ones that told me Aspen dental takes my insurance. The receptionist was nice and gave me a work excuse at least.

I took my daughter here and I was worried because some of the reviews about over pricing and bad work, but They were extremely nice and helpful and laid out her dental plan in detail, we ended up finding a different provider that accepted our insurance, but the work they did and kindness they showed was exceptional. I also had no problem getting a refund for services we did not need, I called to request it and less then 7 days I had full amount back, and would definitely go back here if my insurance changes.

I made an appointment online well over a month ago. During the week of the appointment, I confirmed that I would be showing up for the appointment both via their text and email systems and received messages stating my appointment was confirmed. I made sure to take off work, as did my husband. We drove to the office and were told that despite confirming the appointment online (twice) that our appointments had been cancelled since we did not call to "verbally confirm" the appointment and that's all they will accept for first time patients. Nowhere in any of the texts or emails, or on the website does it say I needed to call to confirm my appointment. I wasted half my day and an entire month waiting for this appointment and I'm very upset that it was cancelled with no warning. No one reached out to let us know it was cancelled. We had to drive all the way to Pikeville just to be turned away. I will most certainly not be rescheduling.

They say the exam is free but they still bill the insurance for it. Whatever the insurance doesn't pay they pay. BUT it's not free and be prepared to wait at least 45 min after your appointment time to go back and then 30-45 min to be seen once you get to the back. Absolutely ridiculous service and rude employees

I DO NOT recommend Aspen dental. My son paid over $4000 for my dentures and I had to have surgery on my mouth so that was over $1300 and I got a warranty that was over $700. I need to get my dentures fixed and they are telling me that it's not covered in my warranty now and that will cost another $300 to get it fixed. I can't wear my teeth cause they keep falling out even with the glue, I'm on a fixed income and I can't afford that. They never mentioned he had a bill of $20 so they sent it to a collection agency and that went on his record as bad credit. So I highly recommend to go to a different dentistry because they will rip you off.
