I love my Aspen Dental team. They're the best at everything! As much as I hate going to the Dentist, I always feel like I am in the best of hands on every front at this location. They listen well and are extremely gentle. Whenever I leave I find I'm always asking myself, "Why do I continue to hate Dental appointments so much?" Thank you, Aspen Dental team, Arcadia location! You're making me a believer.

This is a highly corporatized, profit-driven office. The hygienist was quick to over-diagnose nonexistent periodontal disease because it meant a nearly $2000 payout (more than $1350 out-of-pocket) for unnecessary root planing, scaling, and laser therapy treatment. The office refused to provide a basic cleaning and insisted on the more expensive treatment. I sought subsequent "second opinions" from two separate dentists after my visit and they both confirmed that the recommended treatment plan was overkill. Additional problems here included uncomfortable x-rays, a long wait for the hygienist, and an awkward exchange with the office manager after he sprung the price of the recommended treatment on us. Also, my wife noted that she was pregnant on her patient intake forms, but the x-ray technician did not look at the forms, did not ask if she was pregnant, and performed the x-rays. When my wife brought it up halfway through the x-rays, she was assured that it would likely not be a problem. We hope that is true. The only reasons I left two stars instead of one are that the receptionist was pleasant and helpful, and the dentist himself was excellent. However, the overall corporate business model and their prioritization of profits over patients makes this office a place to avoid (at least until these issues are fixed). If you do decide to visit here, be sure to hold on to your wallet and seek a second opinion for any non-routine treatment recommendations.

I went in to have my upper denture repaired. The dentist who saw me said the denture didn't fit properly and he would not repair it. I have had this denture for 37 years and have never had a pressure sore, blister, wobbling when eating or any other problems. He said I have to have a new denture for $1700!! I didn't have much choice since he refused to repair my original denture.

It's a scam. Don't go. They give you a "free exam" then try to charge $400 for a cleaning.

I have been going to Aspen Dental for a couple of years now and have never had a bad visit. The staff, techs, and dentist have always been friendly and very informative. They have always explained any procedures that need to be done and the price it will be. I would recommend Aspen Dental 44th/ Thomas to anyone needing a dentist.

My fiance & I have been Aspen patients for about seven years. About one year ago, I had my front two teeth capped. A month ago, the front right one snapped off @ the gumline (a product if shoddy dental work.) When I went in for an emergency appointment , they were going to replace the tooth right then & there. As a matter of fact, one of the dental assistants was making the replacement right behind me on the counter. Then, they called me into the office to talk about my treatment plan (but I think it was really get more money out of us.) The guy told me that before they could replace the tooth, I would have to get a root canal & an extraction in addition to extracting the root of the tooth. I also needed my permanent bridge, as my temporary bridge had snapped in half while sitting in a drawer @ home (weird!) So they were going to make money anyway w/the bridge.) But I did not understand why the hell I needed an extraction & a root canal in order to replace their shoddy capped tooth. And I asked the guy that, & he just kept repeating himself. So, I walked out of Aspen Dental's office on N 44th St. telling them that a lawsuit would be forthcoming. And I shall be calling an attorney Monday a.m. Missing my front right yooth is the most embarassing thing I've had to go through in my entire life!!! I should have known they did not know what the hell they were doing when I went for a cleaning, & the hygienist did not go down to my gumline, bor did she make me rinse & spit ONCE!!!!

I was told my insurance would cover nothing, I knew that wasn't true. They signed me up for financing but I didn't go back so I was shocked when I received a bill in the mail from the finance company. This can't be legal, you can even change your mind when you buy a car. I think the Attorney General should check into Aspen Dental.

My Aspen Dental is the Arcadia ofc....My original appt was for 3/21/22, but my tooth started hurting 6 days prior to the appt. I called and spoke to Alex, he said I could come in the next morning as a walk-in (which was today). He couldn't guarantee how long I would have to wait. I was ready to wait an hour or two to be seen. I only waited 10 minutes before they called me back. I was taken care of and my next appt was made. It could of been about 2 to 4 mos ago that I went in with the same tooth. I wish I remembered the name of the receptionist. All I remember was she had like reddish brown hair, I think. She had no empathy or compassion at all. My gum was bleeding, my tooth was hurting and she said all she could do was make me an appt. She said the schedule was full. I said to her my gum was bleeding and I'm in pain. Again, she said she was sorry but I would have to make an appt. I have been a patient here for over 8yrs, I asked to speak with Yenny, but she was promoted and went to another ofc. So I spoke with Daniel and I was seen. I'm in the medical field myself, and I don't care if your a new patient or establish patient. No one deserves to be treated like that... But every other visit, including today's visit was nice. I felt like I was being taken care of. THANK YOU ALEX FOR BEING SO KIND!! And thank you to my dentist who didn't think I was crazy coming in for the 3rd time for the same tooth saying it hurts.

Most of my first visit went well, however there are a few issues that need to be addressed. 1) my blood pressure reading should have been made earlier, before I agreed to continue with treatment, because it was too high, and needs to be lowered if possible. 2) I was surprised when asked to make a downpayment upon completing this initial visit, and felt pressure to do so. As a result of these two issues, I wish to request a refund of my $2,000 payment because at this point, due primarily to the blood pressure issue, I won't be able to continue with any procedures in the foreseeable future.

The whole organisation is good and I recommend this place. However, I have implanted a tooth there last year and ever since, the crown has been loosened three times in almost 6 months. I understand, that is something possible but every time it causes discomfort and I have to wast my time to get it fixed. They said the screw is not the right size and after they change it, the crown should never get loose again. See what happens.
