This place is a scam and doesn't do the said treatment but still charges you for services that weren't even completed. They will lie ,steal, and cheat you out of your hard earned money..Do not use these thieves..

I completed my Motto aligners with Aspen Dental 5/16/22. At this appointment I was scanned for a retainer that would arrive in 2 weeks. The doctor swore the retainer should have been in the box but it was not and they had my boxes in the office and gave me my new trays at every appointment. The 2 weeks came and went, the office did not receive the retainer and asked me to come in again 6/28/22. I did my scans again and they assured me it would take 2 weeks. I called after that time and the receptionist told me there was no way they could find out. Anytime I called after that, my calls would not be answered unless I used a different phone number to call from. I would leave messages and no reply. I finally talked to the Peoria, IL manager, Tanya, 8/9/22 and she said they sent the scans to Motto twice and Motto still hadn't sent them back. The doctor also left in this time frame and they had no way of accessing his email and that I was 1 of 3 patients that were having this same issue. I spoke to Tanya again 8/17/22 and she said there was nothing they could do. They could not contact Motto about the issue and they suggested I drive to Moline, IL for them to help me instead. The regional office also suggested this. I called the Moline office 8/17/22 and 8/24/22 and they didn't have my files yet from Peoria, IL location. The Moline office needs my last scan and they don't want to do new ones because they would have to charge me for new scans. This is still not resolved. Stay far away from Aspen Dental. I'm now having to contact a lawyer to figure this out because why should I have to pay more money?

The service there is great. Everyone is friendly. I don't enjoy going to the dentist due to previous bad experiences at other places. The dental assistants help me discover why I have a painful experience getting x-rays. Dr. Marc is not from Peoria, he has a great sense of humor with awesome chairside manners. No pain, just pressure took the wisdom tooth right out. I can be a bit spoiled so I would have liked to receive copies of my paperwork with reminders of aftercare information ,warning sign symptoms. Maybe even a few pieces of extra goss and a small water for the road. Thanks to the whole Team!!!

I made an appointment for my daughter for her kindergarten dental exam. She was super nervous as she hasn't been to a dentist in 3 years due to us moving a lot. She wouldn't stand still for the X-rays which the dentist said to just skip them and not force her. Then we waited in the exam room for about an hour just for the same dentist to come in and ask my daughter questions about herself that she wouldn't answer, again cause she was nervous. This dentist told me that she didn't have time to do her exam today since she wasn't being corporative, even though she didn't even try to look at her teeth, she was just going off of her not answering questions. My daughter is also very shy when it comes to strangers so of course she's not gonna answer those questions. I felt this place was very unprofessional. It was a waste of my time to sit there for an hour just to be told that she can't get her exam done all because she wouldn't talk to the dentist.

This office is a complete mess. I booked an appointment as a new client online and when I showed up to the appointment they informed me they "booted my appointment " because they didn't have a hygienist scheduled and didn't even bother to tell me. I rescheduled and got a call the night before to tell me they couldn't do that appointment either because they literally has zero dental hygienists on staff. That tells me this office is bad news. How bad of a place is that to work that they can't staff a single dental hygienist. Will not be attempting to go here again, so frustrating!

Since I was a child, I have always been terrified to go to the dentist. Every time I've gone in for a cleaning or a filling it's been a really positive experience. Dr. Marc Thevenin, Jr. is so gentle and put me at ease. Plus the shots did not hurt! Three fillings and two cleanings later I'm a believer. No more putting off going to get the exam and any necessary work. Everybody is friendly and professional. A great experience.

I have not seen a dentist since before Covid. My mouth was in need of work even before then. Needless to say, I was nervous going in. The entire staff was just wonderful! They gave me no judgment. From the young woman that did my X-rays, the dental hygienist, Dr.T, even the office manager, who gave me the financial news, they were all very professional and non judging. I'm glad I came to Aspen Dental. I'm looking forward to my care and the final outcome of my smile!

I always have hated going to the dds. But I love seeing the people at Aspen Denral. They are so fun and friendly. My experience is great. I know that sounds crazy but they accommodate me and make me feel relaxed. A big this up.

This location never answers the phone, once you get an appointment the service is good but trying to call and schedule is ridiculous Update: Today i had an appointment set for 4pm I confirmed this appointment online per the email and I arrived on time only to be told the appointment was at 330 i show the receptionist and manager the email that states 4 pm and she tells me that because their schedule says 330 I can't be seen. This was not my error but theirs not only was my time wasted but took off work early to make the appointment this dental office is trash! Very lousy inconsiderate and unreliable

I am very disappointed with Aspen dental they never tried to get ahold of me they turned me open to collections they admitted that it was a miscommunication I tried for 2 months to bring my account current and work to pay them they refused to work with me now I have a huge hole in my mouth and a ding on my credit report I am going to a real dentist who values their patients I do not recommend Aspen dental to any one and I will be filing a report with better business

On Fri 2/18/22 I called my Ins Company to find a Dental Office covered by my Dental Ins. They called this Aspen Dental & spoke to the receptionist. I was then transferred to the Office. I spoke to the receptionist about my crown coming off with 2 rods from root canal & it had a hole onto of my crown. I didn't know it was there until crown fell out of the top gum. I told her I had one rod still in there poking downward. My tooth was hurting as well as my other teeth around it & below it on lower gum. Don't know if it was sympathy pains or what. Anyway she made a 9:15 am appt for Sat 2/19/22 to have tooth checked. She told me I may have to wait a little while. I didn't care. I was glad to get in. Early the next morning (Sat) iI received a text from the office telling me they were glad I was coming in or happy...whatever. I don't remember the exact greeting. They had my appt date & time down right. I arrived at 9:00 am 15 mins early as asked. I went to the door & no one was there. I sat in my car waiting for someone to come. I tried the door again hoping someone was in the back. No one was there. I sat & waited longer because I remembered the receptionist told me I may have to wait. Approx 40 mins of waiting I tried the door again & knocked. No one was there. I tried calling office & ended up speaking to the Answering Service. I told her the situation & she said the Office was showing it was open. I told her it was dark & door is locked. I knocked harder & no one came. I asked if she had a phone number to call someone? She said she didn't. I sat in my car again. 10:00 am appt showed up. The same thing happened to her. She had an appt & received text early that morning. They waited for a few mins & left. I sat there until 11:15. I should of left earlier, but I was hoping someone would come. I needed my tooth fixed. I never received a call from this Office to cancel appt or to apologize to me. It's not like there was weeks between making the app

It took 45 to complete check-in and wait time which was not provided online ahead of time. I understand not being able to check in online because I made my appointment the day before. So 45 minutes in the waiting area and 2 hrs getting x-rays, periodontist measurements and Dr exam. It seemed excessive. I will be returning for my fillings and periodontist maintenance. Looking forward to developing a trusting relationship with Dr Thevenin.
