I visited Aspen Dental for the first time for routine dental cleaning. This regular hygienic procedure is safe and beneficial for any patient. But Carolina Rodrigues Colon, DDS refuses to do it. She insisted on performing a much more expensive deep cleaning/root scaling procedure. The procedure is unnecessary. This procedure can cause nerve damage, The procedure has side effects. And deep cleaning is often abused by dishonest dentists to increase their profit. I asked Dr. Rodriguez to proceed with a regular dental cleaning. But she insisted on having unnecessary, risky, and expensive deep cleaning. She said that I must follow her advice, or she would refuse any service to me. I tried to mitigate the disagreement with Office Manager Brian Thompson. He took the side of Dr. Rodrigues and showed me the door. Please learn from my experience with Aspen Dental and press the like button under my review. Thank you. My initial review had triggered an unexpected telephone response. Calling person spent significant effort persuading me that following doctor advice is a must. Doctor's decision may not have any reason, may not be aligned with common sense, or maybe just ridiculous. But patients have to show respect toward the DDS title and obey. For example, my insurance received a $77 charge for (D9971) odontoplasty-per tooth. I was not informed about this service, I did not give my consent, and I see it as useless. My insurance fully pays for cleaning and exams. But Aspen Dental denied me this basic service. Instead they sent me a bogus bill. This is the robbery. I was surprised to find dental predators in this reputable company. It was my mistake to visit Aspen Dental. And finally, I am OK now. I visited another dental office. My dentist performed the cleaning and examination. He also provided several treatment options for my discretion. I am grateful to him for his simple honesty and integrity.

Everyone at this Aspen location in Naples, Florida was wonderful from Doctor Carolina Rodriguez, the Hygienist Amberlin Medina, and the Office Manager Brian Thompson. They took care of my dental needs and made me feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in the area. Reading all the positive reviews made me feel better too. Seeing a select couple negative ones didn't dissuade me and I'm glad they didn't because I had such a great experience!

The staff at the Naples location was fantastic! Could not have had a better experience! Would recommend them to everyone. Every step of the way was explained in detail so I knew exactly what was going on. The attention to detail that they have is second to none! Best dental experience I have ever had!

So far, Aspen Dental has shown me that they do care. I took my 90 year old mother here for the first time last year and they were very kind and patient with her then. She had to cancel last minute which they were very understanding about. When we returned this year they remembered her by name as soon as we walked in and greeted her very warmly. Mom was so touched by how pleasant the receptionist was and couldn't stop telling her so. I was really struck by just how patient and kind the young woman was as well...Mom's initial examination was also a very nice experience for her she was amazed at how gentle they were with her. I will let you know how the coming visits go as we are scheduled for more.So far, very good!!

I went to Aspen for the free initial exam knowing full well why it was free. Obviously they wanted to find problems they could then offer to fix. Fair enough. They found some cavities which I allowed them to fill. They worked on me like machines, no interaction besides what was required. They were in and out so fast I couldn't believe it. As soon as the numbness wore off I knew something was wrong. I had pain especially with hot and cold things so I called. They assured me it was normal and would pass. Fair enough. When it didn't pass and became worse I went for a second opinion at a different dentist. One of the teeth Aspen worked on had to be extracted and the other two fillings had to be repaired. The new dentist didn't find any other problems and they charged a fair price. Aspen is a patient mill. I highly recommend you avoid this place.
