The staff are friendly. That's it. I went in for a toothache. They did absolutely nothing to figure what the cause was, or how to ease the toothache. Rather, they examined my whole mouth, told me I need some fillings, and I need an extraction, which I did, and I needed an implant. They took my blood pressure. The little thing they put on your wrist failed 3 or 4 times to get my blood pressure. Then they finally found a cuff, which was too small. They finally got a cuff to fit my arm. When they took my bp, it was super high, like 180 over 107 or something. Just the week before that, I had a physical done for my CDL, my bp was normal. So they messed up taking my blood pressure. The nice young lady, Faith, very nice girl, went over my payment options with me. Everything they wanted to do would have totalled 6-8 thousand dollars. Implants are by no means cheap, so I understand the pricing. A friend of mine who works at a dentist got me in. I got my extraction and a filling that needed done for under $300, cash. That dentist, along with an endodontist, at a different location than the dentist I went to, I know, told me they are always fixing Aspen's mess ups. Aspen made me feel like I was going to have a heart attack with out of control blood pressure because of faulty equipment, they didn't try to find the cause of, or ease the toothache I had, and they tried getting me to buy things multiple other dentists said I don't need. Along with other patients, my experience was not about how they can help me, but how can they get as much money out of me as possible. Aspen is a major corporation, and no matter what the "owner" comments under this review, I know they're not going to make any changes. They care about your wallet, not you.

Literally wrote on my medical history that I am PREGNANT - and they still took my x rays without a second thought. I didn't realize the first machine was for x rays as I haven't seen a dentist in years nor have I had x-rays taken since I was a small child. It wasn't until the second x ray room told me to notify them via a sign if I was pregnant that the tech ran out of the room PANICKED telling the office staff "hey guys the client is pregnant and it's written on her medical history did you even think to tell me?" The office staff essentially blamed her for not asking. I'll never be back and will potentially be taking legal action against them.

The x-ray tech, hygentis, and dentist were all great, the front office staff however, doesn't seem to have a clue what they're doing. I called them to reschedule an appointment which they confirmed, but when I called back for something else, they still had me scheduled for the old appointment date. Also, they gave me a total for the work I needed done since I don't have insurance, and somehow when I went back for my second appointment the price went up, and noone seemed to be able to give me an answer as to what they were trying to charge me for!

Very professional atmosphere. Appointments were set up in a timely manner. Pricing for dental work was much more reasonable than that at my previous dental office..

They require x-rays every time you go even though the ADA recommends every 6-12 months only for people with visible tooth decay. I tried to tell the tech I was not interested. She told me the Doctor would not see me without x-rays. The doctor then told me, "Oh, yeah it would probably be OK for you to skip those." But, their policy up front is to tell everyone that they must pay for x-rays or they cannot be seen. This corporate behemoth is primarily interested in extracting cash from patients far more than they are interested in honest preventative care. Go elsewhere.

I really can't say enough about Dr. Monighan at the Lancaster office. I went in extremely nervous about wisdom teeth that I had growing in. She bent over backwards to help me manage my pain safely; while helping me to schedule the procedure as soon as possible. Dr. Monighan, as well as Olivia in the front office, really eased my mind about going to the dentist. A million thank-yous.

I really should have sued this place for malpractice. For being part of one of the larger dental companies in the country they really are a joke "We can't do a root canal because our traveling endodontist is on maternity leave" That's not my problem. You couldn't even give me a rough quote after coming back with all the information that had been asked for by you guys to get a quote for that procedure. Faye ( at least I think that's what her name was) seemed very rude as well. Let's also talk about my experience previously with aspen at this location. In 2019 I called with a chipped tooth. Was told I'd need a crown. Got one. Week after was told I needed a root canal due to extreme pain. Was told to see an endodontist. Day of the procedure I called in and was told literally 3 hours beforehand that procedure was being done in SCRANTON. drove HOURS up there and it was done. When I went in to have the hole filled the dentist put the post in WRONG and I had to come back and have them remove it and do it the right way. I really should have sued them for this. You should avoid going here because literally they and most other aspen dental locations are a joke.

As a doctor, it is your job to listen to the patient. I went into Aspen with a toothache. We did an exam. Then the doc came in, I forgot the name. I explained that I have a toothache. Doc took a look, told me what is what in my mouth, went over Xrays, and what we needed to do with my tooth that broke off a couple years ago leaving only root behind. Not once did anyone try to figure out where the ache is coming from, whether the broken tooth from years ago is the one hurting, or if it's something else, and not once did anyone give me advice on how to ease the toothache. When we took my blood pressure, the little wrist machine didn't get an accurate reading. It said error more than 3 times. She finally got a cuff, looked at it like "uummm, which way do I put it on?" Before putting it on. The BP reading we got back was extreme. 170 something over almost 110. My blood pressure is NOT that high, I wouldn't have a CDL if it was. So they sent me to checkout. I spoke with Faith. Very friendly. We went over pricing options for the treatment that the doctor reccommended. She worked with me and did all she could to lower some prices. All of the staff were very friendly, I have another appointment, I forgot when it is already, and I walked out the door having no clue why I have a toothache or how to ease it and thinking I'm going to die in the parking lot of a stroke or heart attack because they think my blood pressure is going to make my arteries explode.

They pulled the remaining few teeth on the top today and placed the temporary full plate. The process went very smoothly. I feel confident in the remaining process.
