I've been going to this Aspen Dental location for the past few years for all of my dental cleanings and fillings. Initially my husband and I were happy with our level of service at Aspen but unfornutately this Aspen dental location turns over it's staff quicker than a fast food restuarant. So every time you have an appointment or call, you will speak to someone new who doesn't seem very knowledgable about insurance or even basic office procedure. The last time I went to this Aspen it was for a standard hygeine appointment about 2 months ago. My husband had just paid off the entire balance due with this Aspen just a month before. When I arrived they presented me with a $500 bill from 2020 which the office didn't correctly file with our widely accepted insurance and said we were now responsible to pay in full. Over the past 3 years this has happened to my husband and myself several times at this Aspen. Also the wait times at this dentist are extraordinarily long. If you have an appointment here just go ahead and clear your schedule for the day because it really will take that long. This dental office will never have our business again.

FIND ANOTHER DENTAL GROUP. I put up with them with their lack of bedside manner, constant upselling, and mistakes in billing for 2 years. They took advantage of my mother who is on a fixed income, telling her procedures were covered, but then getting a bill, and than telling her..well what we gave you was an estimate...no..nobody does that. All they care about is money..

So much is wrong with this place. For one thing, NPR did an expose about Aspen Dental and it sounds like their dentists and hygienists have to meet revenue targets so they order unnecessary procedures. I had more X-rays taken than I've ever had before in my life. When I told them that it was an excessive amount of x-rays and I didn't want to continue, they refused to stop. I was told that I would not receive service if they didn't do all of the x-rays. This seems sketchy to me. For another thing, the dentist was unprofessional, acting like I had the worst teeth she'd ever seen and diagnosing me with 4 cavities even though no cavities showed up on the x-rays and I've never had a cavity before in my life (I'm in my 50s). When I showed up for my 6-month cleaning, I was told that at the next cleaning I'd have to have four additional "routine" x-rays. I said I didn't want them and I was told that they are mandatory. I have never heard of x-rays with a routine cleaning before! After the appointment, I was told that the front desk woman had not had time to call my insurance company during my appointment and I'd have to call later to see if the cleaning was covered. This seemed weird. Turns out, they billed my old insurance instead of my current insurance. When you call Aspen Dental, you only can get through to a human being if you dial the "new patient " extension. If you push any of the other numbers, you get an answering machine. After calling 4 times and getting transferred to the answering machine, I called the new patient line. A very testy woman named Ann told me I was NOT allowed to call the new patient line when I am a return patient. Well, now I am a former patient. What a nightmare! I will say that the dental hygienist was nice and professional.

They will lie to just take ur money. Went here to get a cleaning, instead they took x-rays that took over 45 minutes, then proceeded to tell me I have 13 cavities and gingivitis with an estimated bill of $3000 for treatment. I have had no pain in my teeth and brush and floss daily with no gum bleeding. I said I didn't care about the cavities or gingivitis that I supposedly had and I just wanted a cleaning, how much would that be? They told me $400 because it was going to be part of my gingivitis treatment. They refused to give me a simple cleaning without it running my pockets dry. Now I have gone to go get a 2nd opinion at a family owned practice and what do you know? I have NO cavities and NO gingivitis and I can ACTUALLY get my teeth cleaned when I ask. This place is a SCAM looking to take good people's money. Don't even give them the time of day.

My visit was honestly better than I expected. The service was great from the minute I walked through the door, the wor time was very acceptable even though they were extremely busy the didn't loose sight of the patients needs. This was first visit ever at aspen dental I would highly recommend them.

This place is horrible. I wish I could give them zero stars. The dentist there butchered my mouth to point I had to go to oral surgeon to have it fixed. Two surgeries later and my gums were fixed but had permanent damage to them. All the dentist had to do in the first place was send me to a surgeon to have a couple of teeth pulled but he decided to try and pull them himself. And I payed for it dearly. DON'T GO HERE! Go anywhere but here.

Support staff were friendly and helpful. MD was not particularly thorough, however. Open setup of exam rooms seemed odd. HIPPA issue?
