I've had mixed feelings about this review. Although I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned and the staff was nice. But, the billing was messed up. I paid $200 upfront and was told no other payments were necessary with met life insurance for a cleaning and then was back billed. I've tried to reach out via phone and email and no one ever gets back to me. I'm going to end up paying the extra money owed and shop around for a different dentist.

I have a fear of the dentist but they really helped out and calmed me down. Everyone was super nice.

Was nervous to go to a new dentist and to just see one in general but this place did an excellent job at comforting my nerves. The hygienist was super nice and did a great job. The dentist was really good. Had to have major dental work and will be having it done by this place. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was amazing. Very understanding with my financial situation. My only complaint is i have been emailed and texted a dozen times begging for me to leave a review. So here we are.

I highly recommend Aspen Dental. The hygienist is amazingly thorough. The dental assistant even though new on the job knew her job. This was the best group for dental care of any dentists I've ever been to.

Everyone there was so nice & polite... I scheduled appointment got checked 2 wisdom teeth removed & was gone within a hr... highly recommended

Made me feel comfortable as they could and welcomed. Also made sure I knew exactly what was going on through my checkup and helped me create a treatment plan and a payment plan. I am thankful for this staff.

If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would every since I been going I could say I'm beyond happy with my teeth they are really good and they care a lot they make sure u are OK and my visit today was amazing I didn't even know she pulled my teeth out and I was shocked I didn't feel anything they are better then anyone I EVER gone to thank y'all so much for helping me with my teeth and helping me get a better smile

So calm, easy, and so not stressful. The Dr and the staff were amazing. Even talking about the breakdown of the things I needed to be done as well as the price of everything was not stressful. We were able to figure out the best plan for myself, and my husband who had an appointment as well, and I now have a game plan to help my have my best smile. I love them.

To say it was my first visit everyone was very friendly and, also caring . Aspen dental was a big help for me been having problems with my tooth for a year but they listen and help me get the help that I needed and I will recommend anyone to go there 5 Stars for me

I have never been to a dental office where everything anyone could name about dentistry was available..until I walked into Aspen in Hammond, La...today. I went there because I had several problems related to 3 connected teeth that Had "fallen out" of my mouth while I was drinking water!!! I went at 9a , completed a thorough medical history, was exrayed from the top of my head to my neck, including every possible view of all of my teeth possible(for free), was evaluated by the most enthusiastic dental hygienist I have ever encountered, had my teeth cleaned, & evaluated for any evidence of cancerous invasion in my mouth & close by areas, by that hygienist & then met with an exceptional dentist who talked to me about what would be needed to resolve my dental problems. Next, I met with the office manager who explained the costs of the treatment I needed & in less than 20 minutes, although I have no dental insurance, I do have the CARE card, all of my costs We're covered. I then had 2 teeth extracted with a dentist doing the extractions & my dentist standing by for assistance . All of these people were women which is certainly different than my experience in dentistry before. I went home at noon & will return next week for the next adventures in dentistry to complete my needs. I AM IMPRESSED & I am 80 years old & had a great time at the dentist!! Now, I must admit to you, that I usually do not look forward to dental appointments ! However, today with these professionals, I look forward to finishing up the work needed!! Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about my experience!!

Very friendly & professional to achieve the very best work on my dental problem. I was x-rayed & shown what my problem was and it was discussed what they could do, what the ins. would cover & what my expense would be. All was in order and l was taken back to have my problem taken care if. I was ask several times during the procedure if l was going ok & gave a thumbs up. They were highly professional, very through in telling me what to do afterwards. They want to see me in 2 weeks to see that it's all good & since l need more work, l) will be making appointments. I would definitely reccomend Aspen Dental on W. Thomas St. In Hammond for all dental needs. Thank - you

I AM EVEN MORE TRAUMATIZED THAN EVER BY DENTISTS NOW THANKS TO DR HOOPER!! let me start by saying, i chose aspen dental under the impression that they work really well with patients that have dental anxiety... i made it very clear to every single person i came in contact with; the lady at the call center when i made the apt, every single person i spoke to in office, and the dentist (dr hooper) that i had severe dental anxiety... i was under the impression they'd work with me and keep me comfortable. because my pain was caused by infection, i had to wait from monday (my original apt) to friday for my extractions... i was also prescribed medication to help me calm down and ease my anxiety. when i showed up for my apt today (friday feb 11) i explained to the receptionist that i wasn't feeling any calming relief from the medication i was prescribed, she tried very hard to calm me and reassure me that every single person she spoke to after said it wasnt as bad as they expected and everything went fine.... that WAS NOT my experience... when the dr hooper finally got to me i expressed the same concern about the medication not calming me and i was told to take a third pill to calm my nerves... from the beginning of the appointment, i could feel dr hooper's impatience with me. every time she spoke to me she had a condescending/judgmental tone. dr hooper would also disappear for 30-45 minutes claiming that "emergency patients called in last night and needed to be seen" i understand emergencies, i do, but when i pointed out that i'd been having an emergency all week and shouldn't be pushed aside she got even more condescending stating, "you dont know how long they've been waiting on appointments" YOU JUST SAID THEY CALLED LAST NIGHT!!!! so is dr hooper a liar or what?! as if all of this isnt bad enough, dr hooper had trouble numbing me... injections into my mouth also cause me THE MOST anxiety of it all because they were extremely painful... in an attempt to extract the second tooth, dr hooper stated that she was going to try more numbing there, if that didnt work she wouldn't be able to extract that one... (she had already threatened 10+ times to send me to the oral surgeon because she clearly was tired of dealing with me) i told her VERY clearly that if she didn't think she would be able to extract, then i didn't want to be put through that again.... the goal was to care for the affected teeth so we tried..... dr hooper didnt even wait a minute before "testing" the numbing... it clearly hadn't kicked in yet so she just refused... my husband asked dr hooper for any post care instructions... we were told NOTHING except for my prescription for pain and MORE antibiotics bc they didn't get the whole infection out... she didn't bother to clean me up, or even put gauze to stop the bleeding from the space she did extract (i've soaked through 5gauze squares since i left and got my own)... also, i have had teeth extracted before and was told that there should be no drinking from straws and other precautions to take against dry sockets and dr hooper didn't bother to mention anything of that sort....

I appreciate everyone there . Extremely knowledgeable and I finally understand everything ,including past and future procedures . I am still in severe pain but understand why I couldn't get help immediately due to my rare health conditions I have. But you are far the best dental place in America to me . Finally a place that knows what there doing and truly care . I am grateful for everyone there and listening to all my allergies. You are thorough and want the best for all your dental patients. You were attentive and actual calls primary physicians immediately to make sure which medications are safe . Finally a place everyone can go to that will do what is best for each individual. Thank you so much and saving me from doing other procedures that wasn't going to even help me and cause more pain that was unnecessary for me to do . That right there is a BLESSING by itself . Truly the best !
