Gaylord Aspen staff work hard to meet the needs of a community with few resources . Communication is not always the best but treatment is quality. The staff are gentle and kind with their patients based on my personal experience .

Very friendly. Takes the time to make sure you don't leave uncertin about anything or with any questions. Pace of service was quick. I'd say just the right amount. You don't feel like you're there forever (like most dentist offices) and yet you don't feel like there just trying to get you in and out lickeity split.

Just had my second gold crown placed by Dr. Ameen. He is a very pleasant person with a gentle hand. He is very skilled and does great work. All of the staff are kind and respectful.

Doesn't work with your insurance plan and results in unexpected charged. Was not happy about that. They didn't seem to care. Either pay or leave.

Be very careful going here. Make sure that if you have questions or concerns you get them addressed immediately. If they address them at all. If you have issues with your treatment be ready they will tell you you are wrong. Or your just required to do something. Watch out for the care credit as well it's a trap. They charge your whole "treatment" plan before consultation with insurance companies. So while you are paying a bunch of money some treatments are covered by the insurance. Yeah you'll get your money back maybe in a year after it's all said and done. The unwillingness to help and the way I was treated the whole time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Want to be treated like a fast food customer recieving dental go here.

Family was coming in for initial appointment and normally you would have a cleaning. We received X-ray and quick exam. We were told all done and met with office manager. We were charged UP FRONT for following appointments due to insurance taking too long to pay. I have never been charged before care in any medical facility in my life. I called my insurance and they said it sounds like Aspen is trying to get the gap in insurance payment and they don't refund you the insurance payment difference. They did not explain this while setting up the appointments and wasn't until after service was rendered did they bully us into paying up front. We didn't even receive the service we wanted which was a cleaning. They were saying cleaning was done in 2 other appointments...so more money. Do not go here!

I came in for the free exam and x-ray as a new patient. Since I don't have insurance, it seemed like an enticing deal. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Then came time for my exam. That was the most thorough exam I have ever had. There were more x-rays than I have ever seen. Later the hygienist looked at my mouth and the x-rays and said I had bone loss and periodontitis. I would need a deep cleaning instead of a regular cleaning. Then the dentist looked at my mouth and said the same as well as crowns on a few of my back molars. Afterwards I consulted with the office manager about services and payment plans. It is very expensive out of pocket, but that's how it is everywhere. She did give me a few new patient discounts. I don't think I would get this level of care at the dental clinic that takes my medicaid. So, even though it's expensive, I feel it's worth it to save my teeth. Waiting on medicaid quality care would probably lead to me losing my teeth. So going to Aspen Dental is an investment in self care and will save my teeth.
