Literally the worst dentist office I have ever been to. They are very busy, so they never answer the phone. If you need to cancel or change an appointment? Tough, you'll have to come in person. You're on a conveyor belt of people the entire time you're there, and when you're done they sit you down with a salesperson (felt like a timeshare sales pitch) to make your next appointment to have a bunch of unnecessary and expensive work done. When you make your initial appointment, they will take all the x-rays but absolutely will not clean your teeth. (We don't do that here) You have to make another appointment for that 8+ weeks out. They will use a text system to confirm appointments but take you off the schedule after you confirm, without notifying you that they are doing so. So when you show up for your confirmed appointment, they just make you wait 3 hours - again, without telling you what the issue is - until they can "fit you in". Do not go here. They are the absolute WORST. UPDATE: My husband had to go in because a filling fell out. They said he had to get a crown (it's always a crown, btw). They put a temp crown on and didn't fit it well, so he had to be in pain for 5 weeks until he could get a permanent one. Then the permanent one didn't fit (honestly, how do you mess that up?) and they called the day of his appointment for the permanent crown 2.0 that they have to cancel the appointment. Will he ever get his tooth fixed? Stay tuned to find out (in 6 to 8 weeks, probably)...

Hope you're not wanting timely service because you will not find that here. I had an appointment, confirmed in text. I arrived at the appointment and they had told me they cancelled due to me not confirming the appointment. I showed them the thank you text they sent me confirming the appointment. Didn't help. So they had me wait for several hours till they had a no show and fit me in there. We got the prep work done for a crown, took impressions, etc and put me in a temporary cap crown till the permanent one could be made. Fast forward about 3 weeks. The crown has arrived and they're finally able to get me in to put it in. They take off the old one, mess around with the nerve, then put the crown in place. It's the wrong size. They took two different kinds of impressions, and still got the wrong size crown. So they took all the impressions again and sent off for another crown. Fast forward a couple more weeks. They call and tell me the crown is in. We schedule for Monday. I'm working, they call and leave a voice mail saying they've cancelled the appointment. I call back to see what happened. They got a second wrong crown. I'm still waiting to get a crown in.

Aspen Dental in Gardendale, AL is not interested in helping patients, the dentist I saw lacked compassion and wasn't even interested in helping me fix my problem; they were more interested in selling everything else. Bottom line they are only interested in your money not you as a person. The lady at check out was very nice and I appreciated that - she seemed like the only one that truly understands what taking care of patients mean. They don't deserve the one star I gave them.

During my most recent visit I saw Melissa and she was so incredibly nice and I felt like she went above and beyond to make me comfortable. That's a rare feeling for me at a dental office so I truly appreciated it. I can honestly say, as this was my 4th or 5th visit, that I have been way more comfortable than not. Everyone has been very friendly and great at their jobs. If you need a dentist close to Gardendale AL, I dont think you'll go wrong looking here. Thank you to the whole team at Aspen Dental's Gardendale,AL branch.

Waited 3 hours for dentist to put a finger in my mouth & send me on to the sales person who quickly printed out an estimate for over $3900. The problem with this is that the dentures are advertised as a set price of $1320 advertised on the Gardendale Aspen Dental website. When I questioned this I was given the excuse that the website has not been updated & then she magically applied an invisible "coupon" which kknocked it down to $2300. That still almost $1000 difference from advertised price. So now I'm gonna call corporate & go all the up that ladder & get my dentures for the price advertised. If they do this I will give them a gleaming review with pics. I'm gonna be squeaky wheel. Stop the false advertising!!
