Dr. Bated was great for my initial visit and complaint of severe tooth pain. Dr. Inman did a wonderful job of extracting my tooth. However, the "office manager", I think his name is Eric or Evan, needs some courses in basic understanding and communication. I had expressed that AFTER my tooth was pulled, I wanted a partial and some hygienic maintenance work done. So when I sat down with him, he laid out this wonderful dental care plan that started with periodontal cleanings and whitening, moving to being fitted fur a partial BEFORE my tooth was extracted, waiting for said partial, and then having my tooth removed. When a patient comes into the office, for emergency dental pain, they don't want to wait weeks or months to have the tooth that is paining them removed. The complete lack of understanding on his part absolutely made me furious. To sit and waste time presenting a very detailed dental plan to someone who is there to have some emergent pain resolved is beyond ludicrous to me. As I stated about Dr. Bates and Dr. Inman were magnificent. However, I will not be back in that office for any type of work, and it is because of the gentleman that works in their office, trying to convince people to start an $8000 dental plan that will not solve their immediate problems. He should learn to do better. He should learn to listen to what patients are saying, instead of his scripted paper.

Horrible customer service at Frankfort ky location. Very rude scheduler! Also added over 1000 dollars to the total care plan after they gave me the print out stating the total cost and before any work was done.

Staff, Technician and Doctor very nice and friendly. The Technician was very good with the x-rays and 3d modeling. Was disappointed in not getting my tooth filling filed that had fallen out on this visit. Was the whole purpose in coming to this new office.

Update: 08/29/2022 A month 1/2 after having my bridge finished I was just sent another bill for $45 randomly. It doesn't detail what this charge is for. The only reason I know about this is because someone who moved into my old apartment just notified me about it. This entire situation regarding hidden fees, and blatantly lying to me about the cost of the procedure and sending me bills almost 2 months after my final appointment just shows how disgusting Aspen Dental is as a company. Having been lied to twice regarding not receiving any more bills from them, I am done with this business and have cancelled my upcoming appointments. I can't believe a company this large lies and pries on people in need. Older Review: After about 5 appointments I feel I can finally write a review about this place. I want to start off by saying Dr. Gates the Dentist and Dallas the Dental Hygienist are amazing and do their jobs well. I originally came into Aspen to recement a crown that had fallen off, but after Dr. Gates looking at it he recommended I get a bridge due to there not being enough tooth to hold onto the crown anymore. After getting a deep cleaning and a pre-gingivitis treatment done with Dallas that went amazing, I was scheduled for my bridge prep which also went well, and he created a decent looking temporary while we waited on my permanent one to come in from the lab. I finished having my permanent bridge placed on today, so we'll see how it goes over the next few months etc.. My issue and the reason I give Aspen Dental/this location as a whole a 2/5 is because when I originally paid everything up front with the assistant I was told repeatedly that I wouldn't be charged for anything else, and that anything that came up from the second I paid before any of my appointments they would cover. However, when I arrived today after being called yesterday to confirm my appointment, and driving 2 hours to Frankfort I was told I had to pay another $86 fee. They never notified me before I got there, and I barely had enough to pay for this amount after already paying around $2,000 originally which is already outrageous pricing. The fact that I was blatantly lied to by the staff who took my payment is disrespectful and makes me think that all that Aspen cares about is the cashflow and not customer satisfaction. Dr. Gates = 5/5 Dallas = 5/5 Pricing = 1/5 Being lied to = 0/5 Don't use ASPEN Dental!!

Update: Still no privacy. Financials and all done right out in the open where everyone can hear in the waiting room. Who finds that to be private? What happen to the HIPPA Law? Left to get a second opinion before proceeding. My biggest issue is there is no patient privacy with all the open space at check in. You can hear everything that goes on with patients behind and in front of the desk. Would think a violation of HIPA.....

I got my problem fixed, so Thankful, it was killing me and I thought I was a tough person so happy, very friendly dentist and especially the hygienists (Dallas) have follow up cleanings a little pricey, should have gone soo er on cleanings Thanks for friendliness of all

I am grateful that I was able to be seen on very short notice. I was well taken care of. There was confusion about the cost of my visit. I was told twice there would be no charge. But ultimately I was charged $120 for the service. I was alarmed about the unmasked staff. The dentist's assistant was very close to my open mouth without a mask on.

Dr.Gates and his staff are the best in the business. They listen to my needs and made my experience safe and relaxing. I will be back soon to finally get that smile I need in life. May God bless y'all.

Although I've had to go back for the same issue in less than a week, the staff continues to go above and beyond to fix my issue. They're really nice and friendly as well! Highly recommend!!

This is the worst dental experience I've ever had. I went for a toothache and the only issue that was addressed was them trying to get $28,000 for I don't even know what. They are salesmen not dentists.
