Had a filling completed. Everyone was professional, ensured i was comfortable at all moment in the procedure, and didn't stop till i was satified with the results.

I absolutely loved my first time experience here. It was great and i was able to get my tooth extraction done in one day. Although I payed out of pocket I definitely recommend coming here.

I found Aspen Dental in Fairfield when I suddenly had extreme tooth pain and I was able to make an appointment online for the very next day as a new patient. The entire staff was so friendly from the beginning. My first appointment I had several X-rays done and I was shown and explained everything that was going on. For someone who unfortunately didn't keep up with going to the dentist, I needed a lot of work and the staff made an entire plan on what I needed done and how we were going to break everything up into multiple appointments within a month period. Kasandra was so patient with me as somebody who doesn't do well with getting X-rays done and was so friendly every time I've seen her. Dr. Afshar who has done my root canal, two crowns, and my fillings has been so great. He really takes the time to explain everything to his patients, takes his time, perfects everything, and continuously checks up on you to make sure you're doing okay during whatever procedure you need done. The front desk ladies Octavia and Angelica are so sweet and kind and that really sets the whole vibe when you come in. Overall, as somebody who has dealt with dentist anxiety, I couldn't have picked a better dentist to come to and I'm so glad I get to come here going forward! Thank you Dr. Afshar & Your entire staff!

I highly recommend coming here, they're great at what they do! I'm a first time patient with them & they are very welcoming & kind. Kassandra along with the other women in the facility are very helpful and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Thank you all so much!

Aspen Dental of Fairfield built me a new top denture. Super reinforced because I broke the last 2. All the staff are really friendly.

Terrible customer service, when you are coming inside this place open your eyes about services you are going to receive as you can be charged for one not provided. In 11/2021 I came for cleaning 1 hygienist told me I needed X-rays I told her when I had 1 and my due date was going to be in 05/22. My last visit was terrible, taking x-rays was painful and cleaning my teeth was so sorrowful because loud music all over hallway she was focus on singing and put on her notes that she applied topical fluoride however it wasn't done. I will never go to this place again as I already told my family and friends.

They are the best in what they do. No pain to a little Bit of pain. They are polite, cares about what's best for you. The place is clean conveniently located for easy access. But most of all The people is what makes it so wonderful. Love the front desk people all the way to the nurses and doctor in the back. Aspen dental is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, on the fence about getting any dental work? I have great news for you. Aspen Dental under new management in Fairfield, Ct with Dr. Afshar and assistant, Filiz, remember these names, provided such a top priority in caring and comforting me throughout the dental procedure, two deep fillings. Let me tell you are suffer from anxiety and claustrophobic from earlier years of awful dental experience. Dr. Afshar and his assistant, Filiz demonstrated a lot of patience, understanding, professionalism, persistent in taking the time to explain what needs to be done, No Judgement. Dr. Afshar communicated with clarity and simplicity all of procedures and reminded me "I am in control", if at anytime the feeling of discomfortable, I can stop the procedure. There are no words to describe how WONDERFUL my experience with Aspen Dental, Dr. Afshar and assistant, Filiz. The Aspen Dental entire staffing greeted me with respect, dignity and a deep desire to provide the best possible care for their patients and their many diverse needs. First I have to start off by saying I've never had a better visit for a dental procedure! After two failed root canals from previous dentist I was hesitant. Dr. Afshar was the perfect dentist to have my tooth extracted. He and his assistant Kasandra talked me through the entire procedure in detail before, during, and after. This helped calm my nerves a lot as well as their positive and kind energy. I was checked on every few minutes during the operation and it helped ease my overall comfort level. The amount of confidence the dentist had in his work and good knowledge was very clear and made it easy to trust that he absolutely knew what he was doing. I had a clean extraction; I will be returning next week to have Dr. Afshar complete the rest of my dental work. Overall a 10/10 experience.

I didn't know there were so many negative reviews before choosing Aspen, I'm glad I didn't look because I didn't experience anything like what was happening in the past few months according to the reviews. Bare with me... I hadn't been to the dentist since college and had a chipped molar and a couple molars that were prone to cavities, so I searched for a dentist that would take my insurance, my current chosen insurance plan wasn't accepted by most, but Aspen didn't have any issues with that.. I had a DHMO since I didn't know the difference between coverages and picked the cheapest one lol. My initial visit was the x-rays and gum density thingy.. Never my favorite parts but the staff and I got along pretty well when I expressed my concerns and lack of care for years; very comforting and friendly.. A few jokes here and there. I had to go back for a cleaning the following week which felt more thorough than any cleaning I ever had and my teeth were legit shiny and visibly whiter, still feel freshly smooth two weeks from the cleaning. Yesterday, I went back for my final appointment (until my next 6 month cleaning) and got my first ever cavity fillings. I was sooooo nervous thinking about anesthesia and the drill that as soon as Dr. Afshar came in, I said "this is my first filling, tell me everything". Immediately, he thoroughly explained everything and gave me options, I felt very confident in what needed to be done. He also gave positive encouragement the whole time. I haven't had any issues with the staff, they didn't seem new to me, and were consistently kind and friendly for the 3 consecutive weeks I had to go back. The only thing I can give feedback for is waiting times, but they are busy lol.. The hygienist was on time and I was only in the waiting room 2/3 times for longer than 5 minutes.. Not really a big deal to me. Overall would recommend and wouldn't complain about anything. Thanks!!

Was searching for a dental office that was close and took my insurance. Doesn't hurt the doctors last name was the same as mine. From my initial encounter with Dr. Afshar everything was transparent and collaborative. He made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Will be coming back

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Dr.Sood is the most unprofessional doctor that I've had the displeasure to come across. Let's start off with her being late to my appointment, then go into how nasty she was during my visit. She rushed through my procedure and did not try to answer the few questions I had. Not to mention I could not get a sentence out with out her talking over me. I absolutely should not wait an hour for my appointment when the location opens at 7:30am. The doctor needs to show up on time. This is disgustingly unprofessional. Absurd. And her attitude is absurd. I am livid that a DOCTOR who is supposed to HELP people is so selfish and bitter. Other staff is lazy as well. I was brought to the front for check out. The lady who's name was Naravia said something along the lines of "I can't I'm busy". The doctor had to send me to the guy brian who was with a patient already. I waited 10 minutes to be seen by him. I am not blaming him. I am instead blaming the lady who declined seeing me, claiming to be busy while she was sitting and reading a book instead. Even if you were busy why wouldn't you call me when you were finished? You picked up a book instead. Pure laziness from her behalf. Do your job. I am not returning to this location until she is gone. Better yet I will find another dentist company. Do not go to this dental office if you want to be respected as a patient and not have your time AND money wasted.

Hi, took my son to Fairfield office first time visit. I will never go there again so unprofessional, unbelievable bad service something very strange going on there. I will look into more. Let's leave it at that. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but then won't let you post. Lol unbelievable

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. For my first time I have never had a more excruciating experience at a dentist including having cavities removed. I spent 2 hours and never received a cleaning. The staff is all new and do not know what they are doing. They charged me for a service I never received. There was no communication between the hygienist and the dentist. Too many mixed signals. Their time management is appalling and they ended up having to refund me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!

Clean and quick, and the hygienists are excellent. However, Aspen is operated as a business, so expect jarring upsells from the managers and even the dentist(!), whose scripted push for expensive services left me feeling uncomfortable as a patient. I had xrays done less than a year ago at another Aspen location, yet was quickly rushed into a radiography booth after arriving here for a cleaning. Halfway through the series, the technician was interrupted by another staff member who muttered that I was not due for xrays. The technician stated something to the effect of "Oh well" and I ended up with unnecessary films that were not covered by my insurance. I had molar fillings done at a subsequent appointment, and I cannot shake the feeling that the workmanship was shoddy. I continue to have discomfort that was not present prior to these fillings, and must now floss after every piece of food I eat. This was consistent with a filling I received at another Aspen location a year ago, which I was informed will need refilling. If you're operating a cash dentistry, please ensure the actual work justifies being treated like an ATM. I will not be giving Aspen any more of my money.
