Dear Aspen Dental, Elizabethtown Kentucky, where do I start and is there enough room for all that needs to be said? In coming to you I had two concerns, the first, could you help a man of 70 years and who hadn't seen a Dental Office since the 1980s? Second, how far could my insurance dollars go? After spotting my nervousness, the young woman who did my x-rays did a lot to calm me down, which was greatly appreciated! Then, being led to exam room and the ladies who came in to finish all the intake necessary to inform you all and me where I was at with my dental health and to offer a path that would bring me back to a smile, a smile long absent from my face. . . Well what can I say, but all knew their job and knew it well, as well as how to listen to their new patient (a rarity in many businesses today) everyone answered my questions leaving no doubts as to the state of my dental health and the path best for me to follow to get my oral hygiene to the point of being able to achieve what had been lost to me for a lot of years. Lastly, the young lady who checked me in when I first arrived, the same one to speak to me at the end of my visit about what Insurance would cover and would not cover, did not make me feel "Inadequate" because I couldn't afford the out-of-pocket expenditures, money that would get me to what I came to see you about in the first place. Now let me say this about that (Oh my word, did I just sound like former President Nixon?) we talked for a good while and explored avenues, with her knowledge, patience with the elderly, and a true compassion for people, she discussed with me how to break down all steps I would need to accomplish the goals I brought to Aspen. Not being made to feel inadequate because of my budget parameters, she laid before me a road map which would achieve my goals. So, Dear Aspen Dental, I'll continue my sojourn with you, the second stage of my journey, on the 31st of this month and look forward to your expertise, achieving my goals and to seeing all you wonderful people again! I had my first visit with Aspen Dental on 5/3/22 and I experienced the best service from Dr. Newbern and the hygienist. Like many people, going to the dentist is not among my top favorite places to go, so I was grateful for the way they handled my dental emergency. I wasn't chastised on why I waited so long or what I should've done. Instead, they simply addressed the issue with compassion then gave me a plan to get my teeth healthy again. ***** Update: 3 appointments later, 9/27/22, I was told I owed a balance. I prepaid everything via CareCredit in advance, so I was confused on why I owed when I should've had a credit. The lady at the front counter said it was due to uncovered services from May 2022. Keep in mind, I never received any statements from Aspen saying I owed anything and their website doesn't allow you to see any statements. It just shows a $0 balance???? I compared my EOBs to what I paid in advance and I was right, I was supposed to have a $111 credit. I called multiple times and asked to speak with the office manager. I've already and spoken with several of the front desk employees who said they would look into it. I even faxed a copy of my EOBs to them to show I did not have a balance due and was told I would get a callback. NOPE! NO CALLS AT ALL FROM THEM!!! This is completely unacceptable! Apparently, Aspen does not honor contractual obligations with Delta Dental.

I was an emergency walk in visit. They fit me in quickly, unfortunately they could not extract my tooth until the next day despite the amount of pain I was in; my tooth was abscessed & nerve was exposed.. made the pain excruciating and antibiotics nor painkiller relieved the pain over the past weekend. I went somewhere else who was able to extract the same day. But other than that the staff was great, friendly, and helpful. If they accepted my insurance I'd consider going back.

Schedule to many appointments at same time without considering patients that come in from out of town. They should expect the unexpected with patients which causes big delays. Some people just walked out. I understand it's all about the money but we are working people. Doc was rude. Not gonna finish that one..

Horrible patient administration. Although I had called an made an appointment, which wouldn't occur for 2 weeks, and confirmed online, I showed up and apparently my appointment was canceled. You will wind up paying out of pocket for any type of root canal or implants. Although I am covered by military retired dental (united Concordia), I've paid over $3000 out of pocket for one tooth that had a root canal, which failed, tooth removal, and had to go somewhere else to get a sinus lift (since the initial implant failed). I'd suggest going elsewhere since this clinic is a volume clinic and patient care and support is lacking. UPDATE: I spoke with the rep as requested and explained my experiences. They apologizes and would work on it. So far so good, no issues with admin so far. Had my teeth cleaned and had did some minor teeth work. That went very good. Still waiting to get my post and cap installed in several weeks. I'll up Aspen 2 more stars.

Well the people were awesome. I got in pretty much right at my appointment time. So that was good. My only complaint is that when I had called the day before and asked if they still had the $299 denture special she said they did and I drilled her on the phone about how much would any extra cost be and would the exact price end up being $299 and she said it would so when I got there and they did the impression for the new denture I went to the billing part afterwards and she said my bill was $1,000 something. I about flipped a head gasket. I argued with her quite a bit and finally did get it down to 399 for the Denture. So the moral of the story is if they run a special you better be printing it out and bringing it with you

First visit and xrays are not free as they advertise. Went there with a referral to get some teeth pulled. They insisted on some special xrays that were "free".Then they tried to con me into 4 grand worth of stuff. Was told the surgeon was not in and I will get a call. This was around Christmas. Still haven't received a call. And kept receiving a bill from them, but when I called they kept saying I don't owe them anything and it's free and to disregard it. Well today I received a letter from a debt collecting agency. I do not recommend aspen and I will be consulting a lawyer to resolve this. Also today is Wednesday June 15th and have yet to hear from anyone. Even tho Dawn admi said I would hear from them by Tuesday. So dawn I will ask that you reach out to me yourself.
