I went recently to my appointment for a cleaning and X-rays. Showed up to my appointment 45 minutes away from my home and no one was there. Literally no call no email to cancel. Super annoying and a waste of my time.

This location has been terrible for me from the start, but it was easy to get appointments for cleanings the past few years, so I put up with it. I dealt with incorrect insurance billing, then had to call them repeatedly for my refund, generally rude receptionists who were not helpful at all throughout their billing mistakes, the list goes on. I had a cleaning scheduled 6 months ago for today. They emailed me Sunday that it had been cancelled. I can't get into another dentist for a cleaning for months. I see other reviews that say the location has been just plain closed, so why did I just get this notification? I will never set foot in an Aspen Dental again, I've heard numerous horror stories. Not to even mention the products they always try to sell you during every cleaning! I guess the positive out of all of this is that I finally found another dentist that isn't run by a money-hungry corporation. Stay far away from Aspen if you can.

Dentist this last visit was amazing. The asst that helped was also very friendly. but prior dentist really messed my teeth up and made excuses about it.

Online account had an unexplained charge not listed on any statement. Tried calling the office a dozen times over the course of a week and left multiple messages with no response. I called the main customer assistance line and was told the location is closed, so why doesn't the phone system say that?

Cortland office was clean and apparently well managed. Many patients were being moved thru in an apparently reasonable time frame. The best I could determine, it all falls on one Dentist which seems like an awful load for one oerson, however, a DDS isn't necessary for all proceedures so my assessment may be inaccurate. New upper plate fit to gum and old lower plate was the best I've ever had after one adjustment. Gum color of new plate does not exactly match the existing bottom plate but the difference is insignificant with plates in place; My only complaint is that the plate was twice as much as I thought is was going to be per their website. I didn't realize that their pricing was per plate and not per pair. I could have had a single plate made locally for 66% of Aspen's price if I were willing to wait 2 months but I chose not to. The main reason I went to Aspen was I thought it was a same day Denture Provider. I found that it was not, but they went out of their way to have it done for me the following day. Next day is not their norm, but turn around in a week apparently is normal. My expectation of Aspen Dental going in was very guarded, but my experience coming out was very good. Don Porteus

I was worried about going to Aspen Dental with the mixed reviews I read online. I didn't have much of a choice. I had a lot of tooth pain so I decided to take the risk. My first visit was great and the staff were very friendly. My ex rays were free and the cost wasn't as bad as I thought for what I needed done. I hope going forward I don't have a problem.

For being a new patient of aspen dental, in need of a dental emergency; as well mind you, i booked an appointment with them despite the fact of them being over 30 minutes away from me as well as seeing they were the only dentist that could get me in before the end of the month of next year I was more than willing to go out of my way. As well as making sure as much as filling out all of my new patient online paperwork that includes MY CONTATCT INFORMATION well before the time of the appointment including contacting them with questions regarding the paperwork. SO with that in mind , I PAY GAS MONEY TO GO TO CORTLAND AND BACK for them to tell me THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY WAY OF GETTING IN CONTACT WITH ME TO TELL ME THE DENTIST WASNT GOING TO BE IN AND THEY HAD TO RESCHEDULE. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER RECOMEND ASPEND DENTAL IN CORTLAND. I wouldn't recommend aspen at all at this point, id recommend to STAY AWAY from them as much as possible.

The cortland location I recommend. Kim at the front desk is always pleasant and carries a good conversation. Diana, the hygienist, is my favorite. She not only oozes positive vibes which is contagious but genuinely seems to care about her job and me as a person. Also the office manager at cortland is always extremely helpful and pleasant although her named slipped my mind. Their line of work during these times goes under appreciated and so hats off to you all. It's nice to deal with staff that has personalities and interacts with their patients especially these days where most businesses seem to not care about your support. Thank you!

Great experience, super friendly staff and more available services than my local dental office. They sat down with me and we created a remediation plan together, taking into account criticality, insurance coverages and payment options.

I would not take my dog to Aspen, let alone return myself. I called to get an appointment due to pain in a tooth. I had to wait more than 3 weeks to get in. After going through a cleaning and a "Scaling" and scheduling a crown, The bill came to over $2000. After incorrectly applying a crown, it took 3 more visits (and over $100} to "correct" it, and it still was not right. I was told my only options were a root canal or removing the tooth. Needless to say, I wouldn't let them near my teeth again and still experience pain in that tooth months later.

I needed to have a molar removed. Dr. Starke did such an amazing job, from almost painlessly injecting the novocaine, to actual removal of the tooth. She was very conscientious, asking often whether I was doing alright. I could tell she was getting physically uncomfortable because of how long it was taking for the tooth removal, but didn't complain, remaining positive and professional. Her assistants were also very helpful and professional. She is the best dentist I have ever had (and I am 63 yrs old.)

Aspen dental in Cortland, N.Y. has been a very good experience for me and my husband. They not only have great knowledge, but treat you with kindness and compaction. I use to feel that going to the Dentist was a bad experience, but not with them.I look forward to see all of the staff that is there. Shirley Buckland

I had a very positive experience at Cortland Aspen Dental. They were very patient and caring, especially for someone like me who has hesitations with past dental experiences. Everytime I go to Aspen they are wonderful. What I really like are financing options, which most dental offices don't have. Staff are terrific, thank you.
