I went here on Friday 9/16/22. First I was told I needed a cancer screening for my teeth which was not covered by insurance, which I declined and was going to cost me $86 out of pocket. I wanted just a cleaning. I am finally called back after waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time. I was proceeded to be taken through x rays, which where fine by the assistant. When she got me in the chair she started using a scraper on my teeth and kept hitting my gums which was extremely painful. She the proceeded to to open a draw into my head while I laying back in the dental chair, this happened multiple times. The assistant then tried to tell me I needed to buy a water pick from them, which I do not. Before the dentist the assistant was telling me about all these procedures I would need such as a deep cleaning, with the laser which I already had the previous year. the dentist finally came in after about an hour. Who barely looks at my teeth immediately tells me a I have severe gingivitis and will not clean my teeth unless I authorize the additional $800+ out of pocket expenses for the procedures she was recommending. I said I wanted a second opinion since I do not have teeth issues and never have at any dentist until I started at Aspen Dental. They proceeded to bring in multiple people, the dentist, assistant and receptionist to lecture me on why I needed these things done. I said no and they treated me very hostilely, so I left. This is the second issue I have had with this place. The first one occurred last time I was here when the dentist told me I needed invisline and referred to a orthodontist he knew. The ortho proceeded to look at my tonsils and tell me I had some form of growth and needed them removed immediately, so she was pressing me to go to her oral surgeon. I immediately made an a appointment with my Kaiser doctor and nothing was wrong nor did I need them removed. I am getting the feeling this place runs off scamming patients into paying for really expensive care they need and then runs off referrals to get kick backs. It is no wonder Aspen dental has been sued so many times and is currently being sued.

worst experience I have had with a dental office, its true what they say about Aspen dental. No wonder the staff turned off within the past year.

After readings reviews I was surprised to have been met with adept professionalism and efficiency when I visited Aspen Dental, Citrus Heights. I had an informative and safe, all health/safety protocols were followed, visit. The clinic was spotless. I am very intuitive to customer service skills where you're being listened to, and I was. I think it's very important for patients to be made a part of their treatment plan decisions. Lastly, their pricing isn't outrageous either. I look forward to returning for additional services in the next few weeks. Will continue to share for those new to the area.

Highly Recommend this Dental place! Right when I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome! All the staffs, doctors, and everyone were both friendly and professional. My procedure was explained thoroughly and was in and out before I knew it. Thank you. I look forward to my next visit!

I had a abscess tooth, very little money, credit so bad that I've never been approved for anything since I took student loans out when I was 18. I had been turned down by every single other dentist I called. Aspen was the only one that said get in here we will help you as best we can. I got in and the person I talked to at the front desk was super nice and polite, the x ray tech was super caring, the Dr's assistant was super nice and caring and the Dr Jefferies was the best dentist I've ever dealt with in my life. I didn't even feel the needles and when she extracted the 2 teeth I felt nothing not even pressure. She was super quick with it too. I love this place and everyone that helped me. They did what no other dentist was willing to do and they showed they actual care even tho I just met them all this morning. I have never been treated so well as I was there and I am going to get insurance they take so I can make sure I'm able to go back if and when I need to.

I was in excruciating pain over the weekend. Called and made an appointment for Monday. Everyone was very, very friendly. Did my xrays, asked about my pain, got all checked out, and got it worked on and a game plan for the rest of my mouth all in the same day. I was in shock that I was able to get work done during my appointment. Honestly cannot wait to go back and get the rest of my teeth worked on!

Honestly the BEST dentist I have gone to. They are all so freaking nice and break down everything that's going to happen and what you need to do after beautifully. If you are worried about how they will react to your teeth or haven't been to a dentist in a while, they make you feel so much better than other dentist that seem to punish you verbally for not going or brushing. They were very understanding and made me feel like I was being assisted and not made to feel bad. The receptionist is so nice and helpful and Tara on the phone has helped soooooo much! Shout out to Jen for helping with my gingivitis!!!

Aspen Dental is awesome so much better very friendly staff I was so happy that they were going fix my cavities and they were not going to pull them Awesome news. I am done with Western Dental forever don't need there service. Okay I am happy

Wonderful staff, kind and gentle dentist. I was traveling for work and had a tooth fracture. The staff made me feel comfortable and that I was in good hands. The Dentist arrived and assured me it would be ok, explained there were many options available and she would do everything she could to save my tooth. She came up with a great solution and was incredibly gentle. Highly recommend.
