It's unfortunate that the customer service staff at Aspen Dental is so horrendously rude that it drives so many to seek service elsewhere, because the actual dentists and hygienists here are very good.

My husband has not had a dental appointment in the past two years due to Aspen Dental Berlin rescheduling/cancelling his appointment 4 times in a row. Aspen is one of the only providers in the state that take our insurance, so he has tried to stay with them, but they have refused to provide him with proper dental care. It is a mystery as to why they are cancelling the appointments, and they schedule the next appointment for 6 months out, which is absolutely ridiculous. We are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience at Aspen Dental Berlin.

My experience with Aspen Dental in Berlin Vermont has been good and the new hygienist is very good and the female dentist I had Dr. Simone is so very good and lets you know all the details of what she is doing and going to do and her work is so very good !!

This was the worst experience with a dentist I have ever had. I would not recommend them. They are even refusing to provide me or another dentist copies of my records and images. Do not expect professional treatment here.

For over 6 months I have been trying to get Aspen Dental to bill my insurance company properly so I can be refunded by Metlife. I have called more than 10 times on this issue and have been on 3, 3way calls with their office and my insurance company and it is still not solved. I feel I have been treated rudely by the office staff when I have called. They make it out like it is my fault? They have dropped the ball. Funny when they wanted their money they got it! Well over 2k, but no interest in doing their job so I can get reimbursed. I Dr's & Assistant's were great at their job.

Very rude to customers. When I had to have a tooth pulled the surgeon got upset with the situation cause I asked what was taking so long as I was getting really uncomfortable they decided to Crack my tooth chipping my front teeth and breaking another. This set loose an infection in my body that sent me I to vertigo for two weeks as I already suffer with multiple sclerosis. This made me really sad as the surgeon in Williston really made me gain confidence in their work at Aspen dental... not so much...

Very disappointed, We had set up a date to get my significant others wisdom teeth out. We had gotten no instructions on what to do and to prepare. We had called earlier in the morning to ask more questions and no one had answered the phone. So he was sent home since he had eaten and had something to drink earlier in the day. We also weren't informed that there would be a sedative involved instead of just numbing. The billing aspect is very sketchy. We have 300 dollars worth of credit from months ago because they had to reschedule a cleaning because they couldn't figure out our insurance. So we still have 300 worth of credit invested and we don't want anything to do with this company anymore. He had even took the day off for this appointment.

Staff is extremely judgemental. They make improper assumptions about patients and insurance/ability to pay. Payment guaranteed even if they couldn't reach my insurance, but they acted like I couldn't afford $140 for initial assessment. Focused on secondary issue vs primary reason for visit. Edited: reading other reviews of this location I can see that the hostile and defensive attitude of the office manager is a chronic situation, and not limited to my visit. I will be traveling an hour to a independent provider, and will not use Aspen Dental again.

They were very friendly, listened to everything I had to say even if it wasn't about teeth. Answered all my questions and if I didn't ask questions they would ask if I had any. Made me feel very comfortable. They knew exactly what they were doing and were very fast but you didn't feel like you were pushed for the next patient.

Everybody here was great and very helpful until the billing. Then it became clear this was all for the money and not to help people. I understand a business needs money to survive, but this place pushes stuff that costs more even if your uncomfortable with it. They did not seem to care much about doing the work I wanted to do to feel better. Instead it was more of you need this, this, and this and you can't have what you want until you do what we say. I ended up at a different dentist that met all my needs on the first visit and was happy to give them a couple thousand instead of several thousand Aspen wanted. Also saw an elderly woman walk in one day and didn't know she had to confirm her appt. They turned her away and told her they could reschedule for months later. Poor woman didn't know she had to confirm appt and they didn't help her right away even though she wasn't aware. She was very upset. Also the billing person I talked to acted like they were going out of there way for me. I had tooth pain and they pulled the tooth before doing thousands of dollars worth of stuff that obviously didn't have to do before hand or they would of told me no. She was rather rude and made me feel like I owed them or something. Payment plan is not what I want and they basically refuse to work with you. So staff (beside billing) is fantastic, but this place is only out for your money not your health.
