Disappointed. I had high hopes after glowing reviews from a friend who recommended this particular location. They took time with me and the doctor sat with me to lay out the suggestions for care. I was given a copy of my x-rays and was told I would have referrals to both an oral surgeon and endodontist for further work. A month later and nothing. Typically, specialist referrals are sent over by the referring MD and THEN the specialists call to make the appointment with the patient. After calling Aspen dental, I was told I was supposed to have called the specialists. I was NOT told this or I would've called right away to get scheduled. I was also told that my plan of care could not be found and I would have to come BACK in to meet with the dentist to go over my plan of care. The dentist told me that the underlying work had to be completed by the specialists BEFORE he could begin his part of the work. Here I am a month later and nothing has happened. I'm not sure if I will return to have the work completed. I was told they are short-staffed. What does that mean for my care when/if I DO go back?

Every employee here makes you feel like an actual human being. Not just a patient. The DR went above and beyond ti make me feel comfortable.

Sarah was excellent. I am very nervous at the dentist office . She made me feel very comfortable. She did an awesome job and I never felt any discomfort at any time.

Everyone is friendly but I have difficulty getting in touch when I call. Also had to wait about an hour during a recent scheduled visit. My time is important and prefer to stick to scheduled meetings.

The staff at Aspen are very nice and very professional. They explained the total procedure step by step and made the whole experience very comfortable for me. Four teeth extracted and I felt very little pain.

This has probably been the best experience at a dentist I've ever had. The staff is friendly, professional, supportive and always willing to answer any questions I had. Even with my most recent visit that involved a couple of fillings I truly felt comfortable despite the circumstances. I would definitely recommend the Aspen Dental group in Barboursville to others!

Warning! This dental office cannot be trusted. They told my husband and me our costs for exam and cleaning would be covered by our Medicare Advantage Plan. Then we got billed $43 each for fluoride in our cleaning that they never mentioned. They told my husband he needed over $9,000 of dental work which he got done elsewhere for $1,100.

I had a tooth extracted today (8-1-22) at the Barboursville, WV office. I was extremely impressed with the whole staff. Dr. Salow was very professional and compassionate with my fears. Her assistant, Brittney O. especially was very kind and helpful. I am probed to have panic attacks and she stayed by my side during the whole procedure and talked me through it. I am very pleased with the way they treated me.

My wife has had 4 crowns done at Aspen and has had a terrible experience. 3 have come off and have had to be fixed and they are terrible to schedule an appointment with unless you are coming in to buy new services. Do yourself a favor avoid Aspen at all cost if possible.

My 92 year old/ blind mother sat for over 3 hrs for a simple denture repair that took 45min. Was told her "consultation" was two hours!!! Mom ask to never take her back there . Just shameful.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The offices were very clean. The only problem I had was it was very cold.

This business cares only about your money. The dentist I had made my teeth worse than when I went in, and I had to go to another dentist to fix the damage. I am still trying to get my teeth fixed after a year.

Booked my appointment online for 9am. Got there a little early, doors were locked so I waited in my car until 9 to check to see if they were unlocked, still weren't. I waited there for half an hour for someone to unlock the door, no one ever showed up. Hours say 9am-7pm but I think they just pick when they want to work. I won't come back!

I went to this place one time, and one time only. They were very rude, and made me feel like I was worthless. The dentist was very rude, and they were snooty. While the dentist was looking at my teeth, and telling the lady what I needed done. She asked him about one certain tooth, and his reply was no don't add that, because if she could afford that she would have already got it fixed by now. I was thinking hello I'm right here, and I can hear you. Made me feel like I was too poor to be there. After I got done some lady tried to force me into getting dental insurance then gave me a $25,000 dollar bill.

Had my first appointment at Aspen dental this morning. Everyone from the front desk, Doctor, X-ray technician and accountant were all so nice and personable. Was very nervous as I had not had a dental visit for sometime. Left there feeling very relieved and looking forward to them helping me.
