Went to Aspen Dental in Augusta today on Western Ave and when I walked in the girl at the front desk told me I had to wear a mask and this is how she was wearing hers! I'm so sick of medical facilities forcing people to do what they themselves don't want to do. So hypocritical!

I have used Aspen Dental in the past and at this time we have reloaded recently. I went to another Dental establishment and all they wanted to do is put on a crown. I felt the tooth had plenty of life left. Dr. Niki agreed and repaired the tooth. I appreciate the fact that my health was more important than the bottom. Thanks

Staff person refused to run insurance number stating she's been doing this for 20 years and knew for a fact that insurance wouldn't cover. Went elsewhere and used insurance.

I had a appointment with Dr. ? Today. He was amazing even though it was not what I had planned for. I had a tooth that previously had a root canal so thought appointment. Was to cap. There was not enough tooth so he had to do something else. He gave e me novican. I did not feel when he put it in or anything he had to do. I have never had such a positive experience. He is absolutely the best. The person who assist was also great she took the time to explain everything as well. Thanks

great staff, only complaint I have is that I have to visit again for my cleaning, but I believe this is the norm for this part of the country. so other than that, super friendly, have all of the latest x-ray tools which was cool and very knowledgeable people working there!

If I could rate 0, I would. Never got to even see the dentist. When I walked in, I was not greeted, in fact the woman at check in seemed irritated that I was there. I expected to be checked in and handed paperwork to fill out instead she kept rubbing her head and acting flustered. I tried to ask questions and she had no answers or the replies were snarky, like I should know the answers already. I assumed my appointment was for my initial exam and a cleaning, but it is an oral exam only with x-rays. This also irritated the secretary and when I tried to further question how that works when my insurance only covers one exam a year. She didn't know and she wasn't about to find the answer. Apparently, they had a staff member go home and were now overbooked and the secretary was treating me like that was my fault for showing up. I felt unwelcomed and being already nervous because I have not been to a dentist in serval years, I left and never got my appointment.

I was at our remote camp in Maine and I had a horrible tooth ache. I was able to book an appointment at the Augusta location for the following morning. There was a promotion for a free exam and x-rays so that was great. Both Dr. Banda and Dr. Yoo were terrific. The shot to numb my mouth was painless and they were able to fix me up the same morning. Everyone in the office was terrific, from the witty and pleasant receptionist to the girl who took my x-rays. Tammy was very helpful and made sure I was well informed and satisfied with the level of care I received. Overall it was one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Even the person who booked my emergency appointment was so nice and thoughtful. Hats off to Aspen Dental.

Welcome to the Dealership... Dealership? Read on. My wife tried and tried to call around all the dentists she could to have an extraction done. No use, everyone booked up and more difficult because now she is sick and only on Mainecare. There were a few dentists that took mainecare but yes... they wouldn't take her because the were not taking any people in. We decided that even on limited income that we would have to pay and called Aspen and after some time on the phone with them they agreed to do a extraction and we were given a date and time to attend the Augusta office. Now, writing reviews are one thing and easy to state something thats not true or exaggerate simply because your hurt or offended or to vent. This isnt any, its to simply let people know what happened to her and how I felt and leave it up to you should you choose to use them. My wife left the waiting room and proceeded to undergo her treatment. She was taken to X-ray. Apparently the tech had Somewhat of a strange personality but hey, we all have differing personalities. Right? Then taken to dentist where he examined her didnt spend much time with her but did explain that at this stage she didn't require needing her tooth removed. It had tightened up and didnt even require a cavity done and didnt mention about suffering from any 'gum disease" Great. My wife kept asking about how much this was going to cost and he simply said we will address this later. My wife was then passed onto the hygienist. ......... After examinations were done on her part she announced that my wife needed a teeth cleaning. Fair enough. But, not now.. This is where it gets bizarre. The hygienist then took my wife and escorted her to an office where a lady was seated. My wife then obviously thought that she would have to pay ( I knew she wouldnt as it states on their poster that an X-ray and examination are free on your first visit ) I heard my name being called and saw my wife beckoning me to come in and I went in and was taken to the office. There sat a lady, who had already prepared paperwork in anticipation who explained that my wife needed an in-depth gum cleaning procedure as she had a gum disease ! ( in three visits ) totaling $1600 . My wife simply said once again how much was this visit would cost and was ignored. I said sorry, we simply dont have the money we are on mainecare and my wife was here to have an extraction although now doesn't require one. The lady also pointed out that " unless she gets this treatment my wife would be refused 'surgery" at that location. The lady ( or as i would like to call her 'the finance manager') said, 'oh, its ok I can do finance" I explained that having no money to spare meant that how could we get finance if we have no money to do payments? Undeterred she ( the lady turned to my wife and said ) so you dont want finance?' Its interest free! My wife once more said, "Look, can you tell us if we owe you anything and then at last the lady confirmed that we didnt. We then left. This is simply reminiscent of visiting a car dealership where you are baited and switched. You are taken to what is simply a finance manager and coerced into spending more. Probably a corporate money grab but distasteful nonetheless. It should be noted that the 'creepy part" is that office. A single office with two seats across from the desk.... Just like the finance manager at your dealership.... You all remember that yes? Perhaps I could have asked if they do trade ins? .... Don't think the Mrs would have liked that someone.... You have been cautioned. EDIT TO REVIEW AND RESPONSE FROM RESPONSE. I have no intention of talking to customer service . What would they do? If you want me call me or write to me. I wasnt the customer my wife was. In fact my wife was sent a generic form with a multiple answer section then graded electronically. Was then graded as some that " did not have a pleasant experience ..." seriously? Lol. then advised to call customer service. What a complete shower of a company.
