I was greeted promptly by a very friendly receptionist and did not wait long until I was seen by the hygienist. My hygienist, Francisco, was great! He did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth with no pain at all! He was also very knowledgeable & helpful in answering a few questions I had. The dentist & assistant office manager were also very nice & took the time to answer my questions.

I went to Aspen Dental because my insurance changed and my previous dentist who I went to for 15 years no longer accepted my insurance. I was hesitant to go to Aspen Dental because I had had a negative experience in the past with one of these big corporate dental offices, but the reviews seemed positive and my options were limited as to who took my insurance so I made an appointment for a regular check up and cleaning which my insurance covers at 100%. The staff was very personable and friendly, but after taking x-rays and looking at my teeth, they told me I needed to talk to the office manager before getting my cleaning. I immediately knew this was going to be a problem. They told me that one of my teeth needed a special kind of cleaning that was going to cost $381 out of my pocket. I told them that I didn't want that, I just wanted my preventative cleaning which was the reason for my visit. The office manager then told me that they would not do just a preventative cleaning unless I did the "special" cleaning as well. I told him I didn't want to do that. I just wanted my preventative cleaning that my insurance covered. The office manager said the dentist wouldn't do that. So, after over an hour there, I said, no thank you and left. I should not be forced to get a service that I don't want. They should have cleaned my teeth and told me if I wanted the other cleaning, I could come back. I would have been fine signing something waiving the "special" cleaning. Now, I wasted an hour of my day and didn't even get the service that I was there for. Plus, I have to go through the whole process again when I find another dentist.

Very professional and kind. I just needed clearance for a joint replacement and was informed that I needed much more. They were very helpful in getting me all set up for my much needed care and financing for all of my needs. Would highly recommend.

The whole office is very sweet but unfortunately I went in after a long time of not going to the dentist because of anxiety and they said I just needed a deep cleaning and a bit of fillings ... I'm not sure what they did but I haven't been able to eat anything but completely soft food and have been back there at least 10+ times in the last 5/6 months with no resolution. Just be careful!

Because they require masks and refuse service unless you have one. Isn't everyones spit going to be flying around ? Are you going to sanitize the air??? Its 2022. No one lives in state of mind. Its anti- science masks don't even work. 1 star.

A dental emergency brought me into this Aspen Dental location. I needed immediate care, which was entirely my fault for the neglect of my teeth--and they squeezed me in. I was in terrible pain and anxiety, and everyone treated me with an astonishing kindness and compassion. I now have a dental plan, and I feel very good about it and the caring persons working at Aspen Dental in Antioch.

Not happy about the over charges and lack of explanation regarding them. When I went to question the charges the receptionist and associate left for lunch with no one manning the front desk. Update: instead of discussing charges Aspen dental opted to postpone my son's appointment when we originally contacted them about repairing a broken tooth. We decided to go to a different dental group that immediately prioritized fixing the broken tooth over charging for cleaning when it wasn't requested.

The staff at Aspen Dental in Antioch were very personable and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail. As for the pricing....it's so much cheaper than other places I've been. I highly recommend them!

Very nice people but they Purposely reccomend the very expensive "deep cleaning" and refuse to just do a regular cleaning (the regular cleaning is 160 the deep clean is almost 3 thousand dollars) me and my family will not be going to aspen dental in antioch ever again.

If you are on the fence about chain stores do yourself a favor and try them. So professional and wonderful experience. I was scared to death to show my awful teeth and get dentures. They all reassured me every step, answered all my questions, and did such a wonderful job!!

Unfortunately, my wife and I did not have a positive experience at Aspen. I visited for a cleaning (which was pushed out a little late, which is was fine. The hygienist commented that he was very busy that day and was overbooked), and subsequently for fillings. These were done shockingly fast. Five fillings in under an hour - wow! I told the dentist that my bite did not feel right after, and following a few touch-ups, she said there wasn't much more she could do. I was quite numb from the Novocain, so she said that if it still felt off afterwards I should schedule another appointment. Sure enough, the filling fell out after about two weeks. I tried to schedule a new appointment, and found it very difficult to find an opening in their availability. I ended up calling out of work to get an opening, and the dentist stated the failed filling was my fault for "chewing too hard"! I eat a normal diet and chew with a normal pressure - no hard candies, gums, etc. In fact I was eating a banana when the filling came out. They also commented that my request to not listen to music was "unfair, because they like to listen to music while working", and also the assistant was scolded by the dentist during the procedure several times for not using a proper suctioning technique. My wife then had a similar procedure done a week later with the same dentist. Again, she commented that the filling did not feel right and after a few days found that the filling was lacerating her tongue. She tried to schedule a touch-up appointment several times, and was told it would be a week or more until she could be scheduled in. She stated it was very painful, and hard to eat with these lacerations. "Sorry, we only have so many rooms. You can try another Aspen!" After calling other Aspen locations with similar results, we gave up and found a new dentist. Now, following our appointments, my wife and I are both bombarded with marketing notifications asking us to buy new Aspen products and procedures. The whole thing smacks of "high volume" dentistry - fill a daily quota with patients and turn them fast for profit.

Terrible business model that encourages staff to add extra treatments that may not be medically necessary, nor covered by insurance to drive up costs to patients. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with billing at a dental office in all of my life. I was shocked to be lead out to a desk to speak with someone about "financing" a cleaning procedure!! Once I got home and looked at the bill more closely, I discovered additional fees they added to the bill that insurance doesn't cover as they are not deemed medically necessary. We live in a country were people have to make a decision between feeding their families or getting proper medical care, to have an organization like this pushing expensive toothbrushes, mouthwashes, as well as unnecessary medical procedures etc., is unacceptable.

Everything was great except they forgot to put in the prescription for pain meds and I found it very difficult to contact them.
