Stay away from Aspen Dental in Altamonte Springs, FL!!!!!!! Run if you must!!! The service is fine but they have shady billing practices and their billing and claims reps are useless. I paid over a $1k in co-pays and was issued a reciept showing that the balance was paid in full for service in June 2021. Many months later, I received a call from a rep named, Fran, stating she is contacting me about a bill. After speaking with her, she said the business is under new management and they dont have access to the prior information. No problem. I spoke with her and thought all was resolved. I then started receiving multiple phone calls stating that I have upcoming appointments, which were not true, because I did not make any. I called the office to inform them that I did not make any appointments and they confirmed that I did not, but when questioned about the phone calls, I was told it was sent by their managment office to get me to call them because I have a bill. Fran has even called me after 5 pm with this nonsense. They then told me that my insurance did not pay my bill so I contacted my insurance company, and was told they never received a bill from ASPEN DENTAL on my behalf for the date of service. I called my supplemental dental insurance and was told the same thing!!! During my many calls to get this resolved with and without my insurance reps on a 3-way call with ASPEN DENTAL staff, some offered their assistance to the incompetent Aspen Dental staff, in case they needed help filing the claim or told them to fax the claim paperwork directly to them. Erin, the billing rep, at the Aspen Dental office, did not even want to take the fax number my insurance company rep was providing to her while we were on the call to fax the claim until I spelled out the logic of taking the number so they can get paid. This is mind boggling to me. Erin then provided a phone number to their claims department. So she effectively passed the ball and now I have to deal with another department in their company. This company is so disconnected. My insurance company and I have been calling the claims department to no avail. We have only been able to leave voice messages. Something stinks here. ASPEN DENTAL DO BETTER and STOP HARRASSING PEOPLE!!!! This has been going on for tooo long!!

Had to drop in without an appointment this morning bc a temp bridge came out. I was there when they opened the doors and though the receptionist let me know it was a very busy day today they got me right in and had me on my way in about 30mins. Thank you Aspen Dental!

When I first went in for my new patient appointment I was impressed. It was clean and seemingly organized, very modern etc. I have tried at least six times to get an appointment for a crown that has completely broken off. Every time I schedule in... they call and cancel... i've also called and left messages many times but never get a callback. I've had to actually go in face-to-face to get the appointment scheduled only for them to call at the last minute and cancel it....I keep trying to get rescheduled but I'm tired of begging... I'm going someplace else. I cannot tell you whether or not they do good work because I could never get into an actual appointment beyond the initial exam. Very very frustrating. When I spoke to them last on September 21 she assured me she would call me right back today is September 22 mid afternoon I still haven't heard from Aspen dental for an appointment. They don't need to bother. I called a local dentist explained my situation and they saw me this morning my problem is resolved. I would never, ever recommend Aspen dental.

Unless you have an emergency that can't wait, I wouldn't recommend this place. I felt like I was in a timeshare presentation. If you need a follow-up appointment, they will make you pay half in advance. In addition, I know of two things that need to be addressed with my teeth, that they weren't able to see or point out. My teeth overall are pretty healthy. I won't ever go back.

Every interaction I had with staff members was friendly and attentive. The front receptionist greeted me with a smile and efficiently got me processed. The hygienist who completed my gum treatment was great and thorough. Dr. Brittlebank was helpful, knowledgable, and nice. The person who helped me with paying for everything was friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend the Aspen Dental location in Altamonte Springs, FL

a few weeks ago I had a couple extractions and the dentist left tooth fragments in my gums that caused extreme pain whenever they were even grazed, let alone biting down on anything requiring pressure. they also try to sneak charges on your bill and merchandise that we never asked for. $135 for a toothbrush. gtfoh. my wife also got a quote from them for $20,000 for a couple extractions and fillings and 2 inplants. we just got a quote from another dentist for half that price and that includes removing the fragments left from the other dentist... try somewhere else. this place will scam you for everything they can

I highly recommend the Altamonte Springs, Fl. location. ALL (Dr. Ruiz & Dr. Brittlebanks) of the staff are amazing. BUT, Josh is the best technician / hygienist there!!! I have been going to this location for a few year and he was the first person I met there (he did my first X-Rays) and he made me feel very comfortable. When I had my teeth pull and all through the denture process he has been so helpful and comforting. He truly cares about his patients and he makes sure that you know that. The entire staff truly cares about their patients.

The people at this office are welcoming and cordial. They did their best to make an unpleasant experience tolerable. Karla and Kayla particularly were very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. They really deserve a five star rating.

Until Aspen Dental I'd never had an issue with the dentist. Now every day I'm reminded of the terrible work and terrible experience I had here. The bridge it turns out I shouldn't have had. The tooth has a dark spot which means it's dying. On top of that the bridge was flat. Not shaped like teeth at all. It took an hour and a half for them to force it into my mouth. Then when I came back the next day they offered to take it out right then and redo it or give me a refund. I was in shock and left saying I needed to think. I called the next day accepting the refund and they said no. Only a redo. At that point I didn't want them anywhere near my mouth. They went back on their word. I've been fighting them ever since. The last call they had the nerve to say "Well, now that it's past ninety days we can't give you a refund." So you could have before and refused. You're terrible people. You do terrible work. You give terrible service. You've made my life worse for being in it. I hope you don't do this to other people. No one should be treated this way.

It is easy to get an appointment there, and the staff is very pleasant. My 1st visit went very well. Josh is the best X-ray technician I have ever been served by. He is so sweet, so gentle, and so very considerate. He keeps the place very, very clean. I was so pleased with that. I am very sensitive to touch, but was completely comfortable with Josh The very pretty dentist, dr. Brittlebank was very nice, Profesional, and pleasant. The hygienist came in and did a quick gentle exam. I then spoke with a very professional women about the cost of some of the work that I needed done. And I was giving a treatment plan With prices on it. You do have to pay in advance for your next appointment, but they do not charge if you have to cancel. I found their prices to be average. And the entire experience was pleasant for me.

Visited Aspen Dental in Altamonte Springs on 6/14/22 for a tooth extraction. I was told that I would have to file my own claim since it was an Aflac policy. I explained to the front desk that this is a PPO insurance and can be filed just like any other insurance. I ended up paying with a credit card even though I have insurance. The front desk assistant stated she would file the claim. I waited two weeks and called my insurance. No claim on file. I went back to Aspen Dental and was told she was unable to file the claim. I called my insurance company and waited on hold for 1 1/2 hours to get the info that was needed to file the claim. Another front desk assistant by the name of R*** stated that she filed the claim and will contact me when they pay so my credit card could be refunded. I called my insurance a week later. No claim on file. I went back to Aspen dental. I was told by R*** that she did not file the claim and they don't submit claims in the office. All of a sudden they don't submit claims in the office? You submitted a claim to my primary insurance in the office. I told her since it was an issue for them to submit my claim, I will need the Tax ID and NPI number to file the claim on my own. I was told that it's inside information and they can't give that info out. How am I supposed to file a claim? Long story short, I was told someone would call me to straighten this out. No one EVER called! I ended up finding the needed info online and submitted the claim myself. I will also file a complaint with the BBB and with Care Credit. Stay far away from this office!!!!!!!

Dentist was great and getting the first appointment was easy but then we were told the free exam and X-ray advertised and communicated on first appointment call did not apply, getting the second appointment was impossible because she is "the only one in the office and has to put in office patients first" -They just need to communicate more effectively and work on their front end

Great place! Staff is very pleasant! Dr. Elliott was so awesome she went above and beyond. The lady at the exit went over my insurance and broke it down and dummied it down for me. So pleased with my choice in dentist.
