I moved here from Chicago where I had an excellent dentist in a pristine office with the most modern equipment. This is relevant to this review because I had regular check-ups and cleanings at this office in Chicago. I also had a crown and one filling completed. So I spent a lot of time in that office. And the last cleaning that I had in Chicago in March didn't even need to be a deep cleaning because my teeth and gums were doing great. Cut to a couple days ago where this Alcoa, TN Aspen Dental office told me that I would need their SRP (scaling and root planing) and Arestin procedure for my periodontal disease so I don't "lose my teeth." A procedure that costs almost 3K. This is predatory behavior. Scare tactics don't work on me. This is clearly a scam. I walked out. I seriously doubt I have advanced periodontal disease when in March I didn't even need a deep cleaning. I called my prior dentist about it and they said it was highly unlikely that this is true. I will be getting another opinion. I will update once I have that information. Additionally, the attendant who took my x-rays was almost rough with me, the x-ray equipment is outdated and oversized, and the inside of my mouth was scratched up from it after the appointment. The rest of the staff was kind, but my critiques stand.

Horrible experience. Very unfriendly front desk staff. The doctor spoke so fast and wouldn't slow down and properly explain things. Went in for a broken tooth and upon hearing I wasn't comfortable with the extraction being done that day, especially without being told cost, the doctor said she would be back with the estimate and that was the last I saw her. The lady from financial came in to get me and quoted me the cost. She recommended an oral surgeon if I wanted to go that route. Had me fill out a financial help form in case I wanted to look into other work I may need there but never told me to cost of any of it. When I didn't qualify for help she just told me "well good luck". Nothing was explained to me. I have bad anxiety and fear with dentists which I told them about up front and that didnt seem to matter to them. I left shaking and it took me hours to calm down. On top of everything they were discussing patients care and financials in front of me using full names and details. It was very unprofessional. I do not have any plans to ever go back to any Aspen Dental and would not even recommend them to my worse enemy.

So far, they've been very helpful and informative. The person who did my tooth cleaning did a good job but shook quite a bit which concerned me but overall, a good experience and good people.

Staff are very warm, welcoming and very thorough! I am not a very good patient, but they worked with me and put up with me, which says a lot! Thank you, AspenDental!

Was seen at the West (near West Towne Mall) location. The staff was very nice with whom we interacted. The waiting room is very small for this location. Only had an xray today.

Waited 5years to find a Dentist around here I could feel confident with. All were friendly, professional, answered all questions and absolutely gave no pressure on work that was needed. I Looked long and hard to find Doctors that knew their stuff. I am trusting them to replace all my top teeth with a denture. My Husband is next. So saying all that... 7 years later, still going to Aspen. No need to look further.

Very professional and friendly. My appointment was at 4:30. I did not wait long, had two teeth extracted and i was gone in about an hour. I am a clean freak and i notice everything. All was very clean. I will be back soon.

Great place and they made me feel at home the second i walked in the door... Called for an appointment late Friday evening and they got me in first thing Monday morning... I highly recommend the Hamilton Crossing location in Alcoa...
