Unprofessional. Money hungry company. A patient has the legal right to refuse a proposed medical or dental plan and Aspen Dental Abingdon feels like a hygienist has a right to decline services. Even after the dentist sees no issue with declining a deep cleaning and just doing a regular cleaning. My husband now can't go to another dental facility until NEXT year since his insurance was already billed for a full exam and X-rays. The receptionist is rude and office manager is as well. They don't return any calls and actually hung up on me today. Should have listened to others and not had services there. Lesson learned... and I received no call back today as promised . Again not surprised!

I love love love Aspen Dental. Personable and professionalism is carried out throughout the practice. Everyone explained everything and they even have payment plans. Five !

Absolute bloody joke of a dentist office. Required to wear a mask, but the receptionist doesn't. Call to confirm appointments or issues and get put on hold for 20 minutes. This is to say nothing of the issues I'm withholding mentioning due to not wanting to put medical info out there.

Very nice people, great customer service. I have been afraid of the dentist. But going to Aspen made me want to return for dental care. The dental hygienist is so gentle He didn't hurt me at all. I will be returning next week

Always some sort of issue when I go here. It's sad because my first visit was a great experience. That's where it ends though. My first issue was ego trips between dentists. One gave me a treatment plan I could afford and set up appointments. The dentist working there when I came back said that the plan was bogus and the previous dentist was wrong. Another 20k estimate. Staff can't even agree with each other. Recently, 9/9 I had a teeth cleaning appointment for 11 am. Upon arrival, the ladies behind the counter were very rude, stating I was late and they gave my appointment slot to someone else. They were adamant I was wrong and I made a mistake, and my appt was for 1030. I showed them my e mail confirmation for my 11 am appointment and they said "that's not us." OH really? An email from aspen dental with your address at the bottom isn't yours? Incompetent staff, recently rude staff, conflictions within the building... it's cheaper here because you get what you pay for. In my case, you can't even get in the door. Go literally anywhere else.

Such a waste of time. Drove all the way down here to wait over an hour to be seen. After an hour I left because that's ridiculous and people that got there before me were still waiting to be called back so I know I wasnt going to go back anytime soon(there were 9 seperate people waiting as well, the room was packed) Plus realizing the fact that this place has the worst reviews! I'm not waiting around to get my teeth jacked up from these unprofessional people. Don't waste your time like I did!

Horrible horrible no one knows what's going on everytime I come in I have a NEW dentist ..schedules appointment then when I get there they don't have the time..I have taking 2 days off from work and had nothing at all done..Came in one day and they told me my dentist called out..I can't wait til they finish my crown...I will never ever ever come back..Don't let the big pretty building fool you!

Let me start off by saying, I really appreciate what everyone at this office Did for Me...I've Been Having Problems with my teeth for some time now and haven't been able to get help because of my insurance witch I think is a real shame that some of us Don't get the proper medical attention because of our limitations on our insurance policy's, But Aspen Dental,went above and Beyond to help me...So far...and as of right now they get 5-stars from me

I hate to do this. My visit was not the best... My appt was at 3:30 pm. I didn't get seen until 4:29 pm. Even then, it was only because at 4:25 pm I notified the staff they had 5 mins for the dentist to see me; at 4:30 pm I intended to walk out the door. No hard feelings nor animosity, but I had other appts to keep and this wasn't getting anywhere. So at 4:29 pm, on the dot, a room was made available and the dentist began giving me 'fillings' for two teeth. During my procedure the dentist was interrupted at least 5 times due to staff asking her about other patients, or others were coming into the area to get supplies. Not the most comfortable nor serene setting when one is getting their teeth filled. Overall, the staff were nice, pleasant and respectful. The dentist apologized profusely for my 1 hr delay, so I have no doubt they meant well. But this office appears undermanned and somewhat unstructured. I recommend they do a comprehensive analysis on their resourcing. Until then, recommend you stay away...unless of course you have an extra or so to sit in the waiting area. I'm jus' sayin'!!!

I had a 830 appointment to get my healing teeth. Adjusted because I haven't been able to wear them since April they are now comfortable enough to wear until I receive my permanants somewhat. I have heard that Aspen dental is great but I'm trying to figure out why it takes 6 months to receive your permanant dentures when the healing teeth probably fit the same Smh.

My son's appt was at 9, mine was at 10, at 9:31 they called me back and I informed the xray tech that his appt was first, she took him back. At 10:06 he texted me from the exam room saying no one had been in to see him since the tech had taken him back after xrays and the hygienist took a quick look at his teeth. At 10:34, I was called back to do xrays and put into an exam room. The hygienist came in, used the pick to jab at a few teeth told me the dentist and office manager would be right in with me. At 10:45 my son again texted me from his room that no one still had been in to see him. At 11:18 no one had been in to see either of us. I work in a medical official and if one of our providers are running behind, it is common courtesy to make the patients aware so that the PATIENT not the provider can decide if they want to wait or reschedule. However not 1 single person ever came back to my son or myself to check on us or update us on the wait time. I texted my son and told him if he was still not seen by 11:30 we were walking out. Needless to say we walked out. Because of Aspen Dental, I had to cancel both of our eye exam appointments at 11:45 and 12 today. Other than the really personable and sweet xray tech, Aspen Dental was a horrific experience for myself and my son.

this place is hit or miss for me. one time it goes smooth , the next its a sh$t show. the wait is over an hour every time. todays visit was good though lol.

Updates 1 2 and 3. Today I have been waiting an hour in the chair for the dentist to do a wax bite which only takes a few minutes. She is doing fillings across the hall when they could have gotten me out of the way. What is the sense of making an appointment? Second posting: Update, I went in for my fitting for my temporary plate last week and they only offered 3 colors. Dingy yellow, dingier yellow, and buttered popcorn yellow. If I wanted natural white I would have to order them at an increased cost. At least I will have teeth even if they look nasty like the ones I'm having removed. Initial posting: I liked the treatment plan, however, they want you to purchase temporary dentures and then permanent dentures. Insurance only pays for one set of dentures every 5 years. In addition, unwilling to do a filling unless you do an expensive scaling instead of a regular cleaning. Bit of a scam.

I recently visited Aspen Dental in Abingdon and I can say they were very professional, courteous and compassionate. They took x-rays and explained everything to me. "Thank you", I very much needed you guys in a time of my oral crisis
