Dr. Chanda Ashley grew up in Nelson County, VA and graduated from Nelson County High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, summa cum laude, from Virginia Tech. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Dr. Ashley completed dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She graduated magna cum laude earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Dr. Ashley continued her education at VCU School of Dentistry, completing a one-year advanced residency program in general dentistry.
Dr. Chanda Ashley was accepted into the nationally recognized Orthodontic Residency Program at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, Connecticut. After three years of orthodontic training, Dr. Ashley earned a postdoctoral certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science (MDS).

This growth can be accomplished with an orthodontic appliance known as a palatal expander.

Dr. Ashley and the entire staff are truly some of the nicest practitioners that I have ever encountered. They are welcoming, friendly and incredibly kind. The entire office feels so calm and happy when you walk in the door. Besides their kindness, they are extremely knowledgeable and have worked hard to ensure my children are comfortable and reassured. My children now have beautiful smiles and look forward to their appointments with Dr. Ashley. I wholeheartedly recommend Ashley Orthodontics. You will not be disappointed.

Dr Ashley and the staff are awesome. They are friendly and professional. They truly care about helping you reach your correction goals. They also helped me quickly resolve an issue with my retainer. I am in my 40's and they still made me feel comfortable my journey with braces. I smile with confidence for pictures now.

My teeth were a "tough case," and I tried for years to find an orthodontist willing to work with me as an adult without requiring surgery. WONDERFUL! Very little wait time ever! Consistently friendly and pleasant staff. Scheduling easy and reminders helpful. This office is accessible and convenient to Crozet with very little traffic to deal with. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone considering BRACES!!!
