I grew up in beautifully green Sparks, Maryland and have spent my entire life learning and growing in the Baltimore area. Im happy to be practicing dentistry in the community that has given me so much throughout my life.
My natural compassion for people and love for art & science is why I chose to become a dentist. Valley Dental Health exists so that we may promote excellence in dental health and so that we may serve those that are committed to the very best dental care and long-term oral health.
I love developing relationships with my patients and growing with the multiple generations of families we have seen through the years. I am very proud of our dream team at VDH who always work hard to provide the best care to all our patients by focusing on every patients individual needs.
Im proud to have graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School of Dental Surgery, the first dental school in the world that still remains as one of the top dental schools in the country! My passion for learning led me to a competitive two-year residency at the University of Maryland in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.
During residency, I developed a special interest in preventative dentistry, patient education, and advanced dental treatment including cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and implant therapy. During an externship on a Native American reservation in South Dakota, I developed a real appreciation for the importance of serving those parts of our global community that have less-than-desirable access to healthcare.
I am proud of the fact that Valley Dental Health dentists and team members have devoted their time to serving those who do not have access to dental care through various charitable organizations, and I look forward to many more opportunities to do so as we continue to grow in our community.
I currently live in downtown Baltimore with my fun-loving husband, our curious twins, and our two dogs. When Im not in the office, I can be found playing with my kids, hiking with my dogs, watching documentaries, running, or pretty much anything involving nature and family life. I am very fond of food, books, movies, music, and travel.
As a proud northern-Baltimore County native, I am so glad that my career has brought me back to the Hunt Valley area. Valley Dental Health is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much throughout my life.
My passion for general dentistry inspired me to pursue five years of specialty training in order to be able to treat patients with more complex general dentistry needs. I believe patient education is paramount in achieving dental goals and ensuring that the dental therapy I provide continues to function in health for years.
I also believe that professional education is vital in staying updated on developments in the field of dentistry, so I am a member of several local study clubs as well as several national dental organizations. I am also currently on the Deans Faculty at the University of Maryland Advanced General Dentistry residency program, teaching dental students and continuing to stay on top of the latest in dental science and patient treatment.
What I love most about dentistry, beyond being able to help my patients achieve oral health on their way to overall health, is meeting so many people from different walks of life. Every patient has a story to tell, and getting to know my patients and growing with them through the years is incredibly fulfilling on both a professional and personal level.
I cant think of a better team than the one we have at Valley Dental Health everyone is so warm and welcoming, and it allows our patients to feel completely calm and comfortable from their very first visit to VDH!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my amazing wife, our two awesome kids and our two mischievous rescue pooches. We love being outside, going to baseball games, and staying active and healthy!
I believe a persons smile always leaves the most significant impression on other people. As a dentist, my hope for my patients is to be able to walk out of the office with the most healthy and confident smile! To achieve that goal I want to treat patients while following my dental philosophy which is to prioritize peoples health and comfort for patient centered care.
I am currently certified in Advanced General Dentistry, from the University of Maryland. My advanced training provided me the additional experience to provide top-notch dentistry in a multitude of areas including, cosmetic, digital, and laser dentistry. In addition, I have also been trained to provide multiple complex procedures such as full mouth rehabilitation.
From an early age I learned the importance of receiving and giving education because I was a son of a high school teacher. During my time with patients, I noticed a significant amount that were actually unaware of how to take care of their teeth properly. Even with something as basic as how to brush correctly. While my goal is to provide the best treatment possible, I also believe in guiding and educating my patients so they are able to maintain good oral health.
I have always been taught that great work comes from those who love what they do. My passion for my work comes from the ability to have a positive impact on others. My patients health and comfortability are my first priority. I am here to listen and answer any questions as we work together to achieve the best care for each individual.
Hi, Im Dr. Laura. My story starts in Brazil. I grew up in a family of health professionals who inspired me to pursue dentistry. I moved to Maryland when I was 16 with a steadfast desire to become a dentist. I attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for dental school and continued with a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland. I have the technical knowledge to provide the best treatment, along with the mindfulness to make it personal.
As a dentist nothing makes me happier than seeing you smile and that happens before treatment begins. My approach to dentistry is about creating a comfortable, fun environment. I strive to make you smile and laugh every step of the way even in Spanish and Portuguese.
I listen A lot. And ask a lot of questions. I seek first to understand what truly matters to my patients before developing a treatment plan to give them the smile they truly desire. This includes routine fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, dentures, and Invisalign to complete smile makeovers.
Outside of the office, I enjoy being active practicing yoga and indoor climbing, trying new local restaurants (suggestions always needed!), and spending time with my two young nieces & adorable cats Zulu and Zoe.

I went to see Dr. Izadi for Invisalign treatment just before the start of the pandemic. She explained the process thoroughly and addressed all of my questions. I was lucky to be able to participate in an Invisalign app that made it possible for me to go into the office less frequently. Dr. Izadi was able to see my progress weekly and provide comments through the app that enabled me to know how things were progressing. She is always incredibly upbeat and encouraging and I am now reaching the end of my journey. I am so pleased with the results and so grateful to her for helping me. She is THE BEST!

Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable - and they make themselves available off hours for emergencies. You can tell they really care about their patients - I'm so glad to find such a great team in the Hunt Valley/Cockeysville area. All of their reviews are a solid 5 stars, for good reason! (Well, expect for Vishal Bajpai... who likely has never actually been to this office... and gives a one star review on EVERY SINGLE place they've ever reviewed for Google!) And, no I don't work for the office, I'm just super happy with them!

I've been going to Dr. Izadi since was she in the post-graduate program at UMBC and I pretty much would trust no one else with my teeth. She's thorough in her examinations and explains your choices clearly and concisely. She has a tremendously kind and patient bedside manner which makes the dreaded dental appt bearable.

My experiences with Dr. Izadi and her staff have been excellent. She was never too busy to answer my recovery questions and was always patient in guiding me through the healing processes following various procedures. She made potentially difficult and painful recoveries significantly easier. Dr. Izadi is highly skilled, extremely caring and understanding. I would highly recommend her!

READ THIS REVIEW: Look no further for your next dentist! Being in the dental field myself in a different capacity, I am in 10-12 dental offices per day and I can't praise Dr. Izadi and Valley Dental Health enough. They may have a small practice, but it's more equipped and more of a well-oiled machine than most practices five times the size. I feared the dentist and had horrible experiences as a child. In fact, I hadn't been to the dentist for 10 years prior to getting my job in the field. With offices recruiting me to be their patient almost on a daily basis, Dr. Izadi and the staff at Valley Dental Health made me feel so comfortable, it was hard to not tell them no. Sara the hygienist is so gentle and caring. I had my second-overall cleaning in their practice today and it was quick, easy and painless. THIS PRACTICE IS AMAZING! You won't be disappointed - and this is coming from someone with a lot of knowledge and interaction in the dental field.

Read this review if you are in need of quality dental work from one of the best and my most passionate dentists in Baltimore county. Dr. Izadi is so passionate and patient and truly loves her job. She explains everything and eases all of your concerns, especially is you are afraid of the dentist. In many medical settings quantity is more important than quality, but not at Valley Dental and not with Dr. Izadi. She cherishes everyone of her patients and I feel special during each visit. I love going to Dr. Izadi for my dental work. She works perfectly with such a gentle touch and she makes you feel very safe and comfortable. She is truly a great doctor. The office is equipped with state of art equipment.I would highly recommend her to everyone. I love going to Valley Dental Health for the doctors, stuff, care that i have received every time, office environment, location and totally a first class treatment.

Dr. Izadi and her staff are remarkable. The office is clean, everyone treats you with respect and courtesy, and they are always so nice! Sara is a great hygienist who always teaches me what to do to keep my dental care functioning well, and alia always greets me warmly. Great practice, great people. No doubts!

Great place, lovely people, recommend to anyone to try them out. Husband and wife run the dental office. She is very good at explaining things to the patient and review all alternative treatments to patient. My wife, son and daughter also see Dr. Ashley for several years now and we are very happy.

Dr. Izadi has been my dentist for a couple years. Going to see her is never a chore. The whole practice is very warm and welcoming. They know who I am when I get there and always ask how I am and how my husband is. They schedule appointments very easily. The teeth cleanings themselves are very thorough and Sara goes above and beyond her call of duty. She's supportive and helpful. Dr. Izadi is always very friendly and energetic. She's personable and always asks how I am. She listens and answers questions without making me feel out of place. She gives her honest opinion on treatments. I had a cavity filled and she was helpful, gentle, and kind the whole procedure. I highly recommend everyone to go this Valley Dental Health! They are top notch in the dental field.

Dr. Izadi is the most compassionate dentist in Baltimore. She delivers such top-notch care for patients and is passionate about helping you perfect and restore your smile! Dr. Izadi explains every step of treatment in a way the average non-dental person can understand. I'm really happy to trust my smile to Dr. Izadi. She's absolutely the best! If you're looking for a dentist and have come across her, just stop looking. She's the best one out there!!

Dr. Izadi is the most thorough and comfortable dentist I have ever visited. She feels like a personal friend and genuinely cares for me and my oral health needs. Dr. Izadi is one of two dentists who took over my childhood dentist's practice upon his retirement. She has met all of my expectations, which were quite high given how long I had been a patient of her predecessor. My parents are also patients of Dr. Izadi and are incredibly happy with the quality of her work and the kindness with which she approaches patients.

Excellent ! As Always:) I had my semiannual cleaning and checkup with Valley Dental Health last week. As always, it it was an excellent experience. Believe me Valley Dental Health is an excellent option if you are going to have healthy teeth, gums and beautiful smile. The staff is great at what they do and are super friendly, too. I Love This Place. Dr. Izadi, Is awesome dentist and my family has been well taken care of for many years and have Always had a wonderful experience!!!
