Great Family Dental Office. Dr Almaawi is so nice and his staff is so efficient. Affordable and payment plans if needed. Dr Almaawi is a good dentist, explains everything so you understand. The staff can be reached at all times and works well with everyone's schedules. They also can answer all questions. Oh yea, no pain office!!!

I have decided that I no longer will be coming here anymore for dental needs. The first few times I came here it was nearly impossible to find the correct room. It is in a sketchy office building, which is not necessarily their fault, but there are no signs in the building and nobody told me prior to my first appointment where to go. The actual office and the visit was pretty normal, nothing special and was fine and content with continuing going there but unfortunately I just can not stand the receptionist Deb. She's and older woman and appears to come off very friends but always ends up becoming impatient and rude. They also need a better scheduling system because they are always calling my cell phone with Deb angry asking why I haven't been answering their calls when I work a full time job and have kids. So unfortunate that the dentist themselves seem very nice and fine, I just can not stand the receptionist and the constant calls and passive aggressive tone.

I called Ashland Family Dental to schedule an appointment for a chipped tooth since my usual dentist could not get me in until the following week. The receptionist was extremely kind and quickly got me scheduled and made sure I knew where the office was located. I was nervous to go to a new dentist but thought, hey the receptionist was kind and professional this will be fine. I could not have been more wrong. Upon arriving to Ashland Family Dental I walked into a beat up office building with barely any directions on what floor each office was located. After searching to find the office I found the friendly receptionist. After filling out my paperwork I entered a rough dentist room with the chair practically on the floor. The dentist came in, looked at my tooth, said "oh I think you grind your teeth at night, weird though because your molars aren't worn down". I say okay and she then says "oh I think you should wear a mouth guard at night to protect it. Next I'm thinking shes going to repair the tooth, NOPE, instead she walks out of the room. The dental assistant then says "you're all set to go". I'm like hello? Are you going to repair my tooth? She says oh its going to break again anyway so no. Then I say well the tooth is sharp and cutting my mouth. She goes and gets the dentist and grabs a file and files my tooth down. Then says all set to go. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - Do not go here. I am going to my own dentist on Friday to have the tooth actually repaired by professionals.
