Dr Alissa Gibson joined Ashland Dental Associates in 2009. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and her dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care with the use of cutting edge dental technology in a relaxing and friendly environment. Dr Gibson is a member of the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association. When she is not working, Dr Gibson and her husband, Justin keep busy with their three children, Lillian, Tristan, and Graham. She enjoys reading, swimming, and running around with the kids.

With over 40 years of experience as a dental professional, Dr Mitchell Schwartz has been providing Ashland with quality dental care since 1996. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry and started his career in New York. In addition to his work in the dental office, Dr. Schwartz travels to area Ohio cities and performs exams and dentistry for military bases. He is a member of the American Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr Schwartz can be found spending time with his wife, children and grandson. In the winter, you will find him on the slopes at Snow Trails and riding the waves at Pleasant Hill Lake in the summer.

Laura Stormer My name is Laura Stormer and I am the front desk coordinator. I started my journey in the dental field 20 years ago. During my 12 years at Ashland Dental Associates I started as a dental assistant and then transitioned over to the front desk where I can focus my attention on overseeing patient scheduling and assisting patients with billing and insurance questions. Outside of work, I am passionate about being a supportive wife to my husband, Greg, and mother to my son, Bryce, daughter, Ellie, and our two dogs. I enjoy spending time on the motorcycle with my husband and on the boat at Lake Erie with family and friends

Leslie Siloy My name is Leslie Siloy and I am a dental hygienist. I started in the dental field because I wanted to show uneasy patients that going to visit the dentist can be an enjoyable experience. I love getting to know our patients and their families. In addition to patient interactions I also enjoy keeping up-to-date on the advances in dental hygiene. I graduated from Ashland High School and atttained my degree from Cuyahoga Community College. I joined Ashland Dental Associates in 2010. I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Sean, since 2008. I now spend a large part of my time at home raising our 5 year old son, Conner. Along with my husband and son, we maintain and care for our farm outside of Ashland. Our farm includes 6 horses, 2 goats, 16 chickens, 2 rabbits, 3 dogs and a cat. I also enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews

Kristen Crose My name is Kristen Crose and I am a dental assistant. My path towards my dental career has been a unique one. An Ashland native, I graduated from Ashland High School and joined the United States Marine Corps. I specialized in maintenance and repair of transport equipment. I was honorably discharged due to shoulder problems. An animal lover, I began working in a veterinary clinic but transitioned to the dental field in order to work one on one with patients. I joined Ashland Dental Associates in 2010 and I continue to learn new and exciting things that make my career enjoyable. When not working, I enjoy cooking for my husband, Casey, and our young son, Caleb

Mandy Mahoney My name is Mandy Mahoney and I am an expanded functions dental auxillary (EFDA). I joined Ashland Dental Associates in 2007. As an EFDA, my job involves placing fillings on our patients. I especially love the challenges of cosmetic dentistry. I graduated from Ashland High School and received my dental assisting certification for DANB. I furthered my dental education with the EFDA training program at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Angela Fishpaw-Watts My name is Angela Fishpaw-Watts and I am the office manager. I started in the dental field at Ashland Dental Associates over 10 years ago. I have enjoyed learning the basics of dentistry while incorporating my drive for detail and communication with patients and staff. I coordinate and oversee all of the billing and day to day functions of the office. I graduated from Ashland High School and attended The Ohio State University, Mansfield campus. In 2009, I completed the dental office management course and dental insurance course offered by the Warschaw Learning Institue to further my education. More recently, I obtained my dental radiographer certification. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my Fiance, Jeff, my son, Chase, and our beloved pets Ozzy, Bailey and Bentley. When not enjoying time with family and friends, you will find me at the yoga studio, gardening or decorating my home

Andrea Shaum My name is Andrea Shaum and I'm a certified dental assistant. I graduated from Lexington High School and received my certification from Madison Adult Education. I plan further my education at OSU in the hopes of becoming an Expanded Function Dental Auxillary (EFDA). After 5 years at Ashland Dental Associates I realize there isn't just one area of dentistry that I enjoy, I love everything about teeth! When I'm not at work I spend time with my husband, Jarrod, and our daughter, Bre. I enjoy cooking and baking. We all love to laugh at work so here is a joke. Jennifer Powers My name is Jennifer Powers and I am a dental hygienist. I started my career in dentirsty in 1989 as a Certified Dental Assistant. I had the opportunity to work in a number of different dental settings. I twas working in the field of orthodontics that I most enjoyed the hands-on patient care and decided to further my education and become a dental hygienist in order to provide direct care to patients. I received my degree from Lorain County Community College. I feel that my previous dental experience has really been a benefit to my career and I truly enjoy working one-on-one with patients. I live in New London, and when I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, Keith, and our two daughters. In the summers I can be found gardening in my flower beds and during the winter months I enjoy scrapbooking and rubber stamping

Jenny Hoskins My name is Jenny Hoskins. I am a dental hygienist and I love helping people care for their teeth. I graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2015 with a degree in dental hygiene. I started working at Ashland Dental Associates in July of 2016 and have enjoyed getting to know all of my patients. Outside of the office I am very busy keeping up with my husband, Ray, and our 5 boys (Mason, Hayden, Peyton, Damon, and Vince). My boys are involved in various sports and my oldest is in the Army. We are all very active in our church (Storyside) and enjoy spending time hanging out at home

Abigail Neiswander My name is Abigail Neiswander and I am a front office administrator. Being new to the dental field, I love learning everything that goes into making sure patients get the best dental care possible. I help patients with scheduling needs as well as billing and insurance concerns. This job allows me to smile and laugh with new faces every day while making the dental experience as enjoyable as possible. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my new husband, Phillip, and our little kitten Harper Lee. I love hanging out with my family, hiking, reading and singing in the choir at church

Morghan Light My name is Morghan Light and I am a dental assistant at Ashland Dental Associates. I graduated from Ashland High School in 2014 and received my dental assisting degree from the Ashland West Holmes Career Center. I am still new in the dental field but I enjoy all the areas of dentistry. I love working with our many pediatric patients! Sydney Saffle My name is Sydney Saffle and I am the newest member of the Ashland Dental Associates team. I am a multitasking rock star working as a front desk administrator part time and a dental assistant part time. I graduated from Ashland High School in 2014 and then received my dental assisting certification from the Ashland-West Holmes Career Center in 2016. I thoroughly love the variety that my job offers and the ability to work with patients and other staff in different ways each day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and two dogs, Scarlett and Brutus, and cheering on my sister at her dance competitions
