Ashford Family Dental grew from the desire to provide healthy and gorgeous teeth to the people of Central Ohio. We aim to inspire a positive and healthy lifestyle by offering a range of dental care services that can help individuals and families achieve peak oral health. It is our duty to keep our clients smiles as bright as they can be and to help them understand the heights optimal oral health can take them to. We pride ourselves on being able to influence our patients to become active participants in the maintenance of superior dental health.
She moved from Fort Wayne in December 1981 for the big city of Columbus, OH. She worked in several hospitals in the area in the intensive care units. While at the last hospital, Ohio State University in the coronary care unit, she decided to become a dentist. When her son, Ronald, went to college (The Ohio State University), she went to OSUs dental school.
She graduated in June 1996, did a one-year general practice residency (The Ohio State University) and then went to work at the VA in Chillicothe, OH. The practice (AFD) moved into the present building in the later part of 2009.
In April 2014, Dr. Ashford went on medical leave for back surgery, what was supposed to be two weeks, has become over two years. She is no longer seeing patients chairside, but she is in the office periodically to see her great staff and the worlds best patients anyone can have.
Dr. Bullock joined Ashford Family Dental to provide quality dental care to the people of Central Ohio. He emphasizes treating each patient with compassion and delivering a pain-free experience. If you dont see Dr. Bullock in the office, you will most likely find him working on his swing at the golf course or catching some sun on the sand volleyball court. Aside from sports, he loves playing the guitar and spending time with his family.
Kela has been a dental hygienist since June 2009. Her employment with Ashford Family Dental began in 2009. What she loves most about being a hygienist is meeting each individual patients needs through assessments, diagnosis, treatment and patient education. She is married with three kids. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering and traveling.
Mary graduated the dental hygiene program at Columbus State Community College in 2002. She joined Ashford Family Dental in 2003. Mary enjoys spending time with her daughter Jorja and their dog, Jackie. Mary also enjoys camping, cooking, gardening and traveling.
Our highly qualified dental assistants are warm and friendly individuals who, like everyone else in our staff, will never fail to greet clients with a smile. They are crucial to every dental procedure, providing quality support and assistance that ensure each service is performed in the best possible way and yields exceptional results.

What a Nightmare~ I am truly disappointed in the dental services thst I received. I trusted the care of their professional dentist... ONLY to come away in more pain and temporary teeth that are not a match to my natural teeth! Thank you for making me look and feel worse about my smile!

This is a horrible place to go to if you care about the health of your teeth. Constantly switching dentists, and recommending expensive (yet unnecessary) dental work to make a profit. Unprofessional staff, and dishonest billing practices. Check you explaination of benefits as this office commits fraudulent billing practices.

The company was sold and went from "Ashford Family Dental" is now called, "Brice Dental Smiles". My Family and I have been here for many serives from cleaning to fillings and crowns and have been going here for 10 plus years. Unfortunately, It has gone downhill! The front office staff is no longer friendly and they didn't bill the proper insurance the first time around even though I notified my insurance changed. I was left calling my insurance company and the Dentist office to sort it out and the Dentist office still charged me a "insurance recovery fee" even though I put in all the work to figure out where the lines were crossed, etc. With the rising costs of healthcare and needs of my family I will no longer use this Dentist as my "go too" as I felt I was cheated in many ways from having to find out why my bills didnt get paid to why I was being charged astronomical fees. I did like Dr. Josh and Mary,specifically. However, the front office staff is nothing to write home about and I hope they reconsider who they hire next to run the billing side as it is a mess and cost the company to loose us as repeat patients. Horrible!

Got my first trays of my Invisilign system to straighten my teeth today. Dr. Bullock is great as well as all of the staff there. Thanks to Dr. Ashford for your encouragement and support. This was a big decision for me and I am glad I was referred to Ashford Family Dental for my dental care.

I had the most worst time of my life at this place. I hurt my back and I'm on Molina health care. My mom there as been a dental hygienist for many years and immediately after my bad experience and told her how hurt I was, she said you were being judged as a clinical patient. Beware if you're on Medicaid or any type of Melina/care source you will not be treated right. It hurts because I am a human being I bleed the same blood we all do. I believe in being respected. The hygienist That cleaned my teeth Was awesome. However the dentist took a look at my teeth because I wanted a cosmetic bonding procedure... Because I chipped my teeth in my sleep I am at teeth grinder, but I have extremely straight teeth are very white very nice smile very nice teeth. That's why I was at the dentist to take care of them. I was not only discriminated upo was awesome. However the dentist took a look at my teeth because I wanted a cosmetic bonding procedure... I felt depressed and fat, and very discriminating. No dentist has any right in his practice to tell his patient that they should go on a liquid diet. So be where this place is a nice building everything looks great on the outside they got stone cold hearts, and they just your money!!!!!
