Our husband-and-wife team, Dr. Callan White and Dr. Allison White, both studied at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. They completed dental rotations in New Mexico, Colorado, Tennessee, and North Carolina, and even spent a summer treating children in an orphanage in Mexico. Together they have three children and are dedicated to giving your family the same kind of positive experience at the dentist that they want their family to have. Both of our dentists work hard to stay on top of the latest advances in dental care and participate in regular seminars and advanced training courses.
Each member of our dental care team is hand-chosen by Dr. White and must demonstrate superior credentials, as well as a friendly demeanor and a passion for providing superior care to patients. We truly love our jobs and promise to do our very best to make sure you receive the best care possible.

Everyone is so warm and caring here. It is pleasure to attend Dentist visits with Dr. Allison White and her assistant. They are such lovely people and explain everything!!! I highly recommend this office!

Service is constantly superb! Staff are personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Coordination with benefits as well as transparency with charges allows the client to make educated decisions about dental procedures.

I always had quality dental care, but I didn't know that any dental practice could be as good as this one. My hygienist was thorough, kind, took her time, and did an excellent job. Dr. Callan White has given me amazing dental care. He did not rush, was an attentive listener, and explained everything in detail. I had three crowns before moving to the Asheville area and dreaded getting another. Dr. Callan gave me a crown in record time and did so very gently. I was actually surprised when he was finished. My husband sees Dr. Reid King and feels the same as I do. Also, I have heard from several people that all doctors in the practice are excellent. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.

I've had such bad experiences with multiple dentists so I come to the table with a negative mindset. Let me tell you, this place takes more care of you than most doctors offices do. I had to unfortunately have some deep cleaning appointments setup and was clearly anxious coming into the office...I have gone this route before and couldn't eat anything for days. SEVERE pain and just all around discomfort. I'm through round 1 and my mouth is mildly irritated: minimal pain, no bleeding, no bruising. I really appreciate the care and attention given to patients!

Great facility. Rhonda's an outstanding hygienist--pleasant, thorough, and knowledgeable. Dr King related well with me as a patient; was conservative, gentle, and communicated well. No pressure to perform procedures.

I went to Asheville Family Dentistry and I can tell you I will never go to another dentist again! You immediately feel calm and welcomed by the sweet receptionist as you enter! My dental hygienist, Rhonda, was personable, informative, and funny! She took her time and make sure I was comfortable the entire time as I had some dental care to catch up on. Dr. Allison did the final assessments of my teeth to see our next steps. She was also kind and expressed everything well!

My wife and I both enjoyed the services we received here, that is until these people seemed to forget they weren't the only dentist in town. At my last cleaning in July 2021 I was chatting with my hygienist and mentioned that we were expecting a child. She had the nerve to say to me "aren't you a little old to be having a baby?" I guess it was on my face because she tried to laugh it off but I wasn't amused. My wife had emergency surgery this past weekend and while recovering called on Monday to cancel her Wednesday appointment. The woman on the phone felt it was her place to lecture my wife that the office has a 48 hour policy for cancellations, but she'd do it "just this once" like she's doing us some kind of favor. Last I checked we're the ones paying for service. Like I said, these aren't the only dentists in town and we'll be finding someone else.

I am so impressed with the down to earth professionalism of this team. Rhonda, Dr Allison and Mallory were awesome. I felt comfortable, well taken care of, and understood. My teeth just after one cleaning looked amazingly better! I am actually looking forward to having better oral health because I am not freaked out about going to the dentist.

This is just the best dentistry experience both my wife and I have ever had. The doctors and all the staff are very friendly, professional and never keep us waiting. We see different dentists in the practice and both have had excellent care. We are exceedingly pleased that we discovered them when we moved here from out of state.
