Dr. Dasher grew up in a small farming community in North Florida. It was there he learned the value of hard work and integrity. He received a liberal arts degree from Harding University and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Dasher and his wife, Jessica, relocated to Asheville with their three children, Evangelin, Cohen, and Alison.
Dr. Jeremy Ledford grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He joined Asheville Dental in 2010 upon completing his General Practice Residency at MAHEC in Asheville. He specializes in dental implants, helping patients manage sleep apnea and dental surgery.
Dr. Ledford graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelors degree in chemistry. Later, he received his D.M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina. He was the recipient of a fellowship from the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists) in December 2011. Dr. Ledford is former president of the Blue Ridge Dental Society, a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, the Buncombe County Dental Society, and is the president of the Blue Ridge Dental Study Club.
He is a runner, golfer, and general outdoor enthusiast. The natural beauty of Western North Carolina is his playground. He loves to try new restaurants in Asheville and sample from its vibrant craft beer scene, but nothing is as important as spending time with daughter Harper and son Beckett.
Dr. Andrew Powell, DMD grew up in Cornelius, NC, located north of Charlotte. He attended the University of North Carolina, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Powell then moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with High Honors.
Next, he moved to Asheville, NC, to complete a General Practice Residency at MAHEC, where he received advanced dental training in implantology, prosthodontics, periodontics, emergency dentistry, anesthesia, and more. He spends most of his free time outdoors, enjoying activities including hiking, golf, fishing, and skiing. Youll also find him taking advantage of many of Ashevilles diverse restaurants.

This dentist office is very well run. The people are very knowledgeable and polite. The Dr's all show wonderful bedside manner, are very thorough in explaining procedures, are very respectful of requests. I have never had a negative experience here. The insurance billing gives me no issues either. The hygienists are all very nice. I get to see the same one most every time. She also remembers things about my life and is very personable. Well done team!

This dental practice is wonderful! I have been there since Dr Kennerly was there. All the hygienists are great as well as the remaining dentists. Asheville Dental! My dental office of over 20 years. During those 20 years I have seen Doctor Christopher Kennerly DDS who has retired leaving the reins to Doctor Jeremy Ledford DMD, Doctor Grant Dasher DDS and Doctor Andrew Powell DMD. Who is supported by Dental Hygienist Jamie Revis. Jamie has been my one and only Hygienist during the 20 years. Jamie is very personable, knowledgeable and always on time which is a huge perk and help to me since I have been living in Knoxville TN. This coincides with the office staff that has been excellent to work with on scheduling and filing insurance. I would not only recommend this office to friends and family but anyone looking for an all-around great dental office!

We have been using Asheville Dental for 28 years starting with Dr Kennerly. After Dr Kennerly retired, I have been using Dr Ledford. My favorite hygienist is Krystal. The office is very relaxing and clean. If you need a cleaning, I will highly recommend Krystal.
