John O. Ashby, DDS, MS was born and raised in Oklahoma. While studying at theUniversity of Oklahoma,he found two great passions:his wifeRachel, a psychology graduate student from Iowa, and dentistry. He lucked into both, and they continue to bless his life.
From Oklahoma, Dr. Ashby and Rachel moved to St. Louis so he could study orthodontics. In St. Louis, three wonderful things happened to their family: Dr. Ashby discovered his love for orthodontics and the challenges it presented, and he and Rachelwere blessed with two children:a boy, J.T., and a girl, Elise.
After working for a few years in St. Louis following residency, the Ashby family ventured east. They were drawn to the Tidewater area for a number of reasons: Rachels sister and best friend lives nearby, the weather is fantastic, and Dr. Owensshonesty, kindness, and practice philosophy were a great fit for Dr. Ashby.
Tidewater has been great for the Ashbys. They love the beach and enjoy the great weather. Dr. Ashby stays busy with work, family, and church. He maintains active membership in theAmerican Dental AssociationandAmerican Association of Orthodontistsas well as serving on the craniofacial anomalies team atChildrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters. My under bite wasn't fixed. I paid off my Invisalign and under bite wasnt fixed.

I got my braces in august 2020 I last been to orthodontist nov 2020 they have not seen me since I even thought it was because I missed a payment called and said had the money and could pay they said they would call back and never did try to go there they said I need an appt mind you it's now June 19 I been calling and leaving voicemails or talking to an agent for months trying to get seen I have 3broken brackets now constantly cutting inside of gums and I'm now expected to start going out to sea in a month or two if this doesn't help idk what will Nd yes now I'm trying to get these off because this has been the worst experience and I can't have them out to sea. Originally would have switched over to Invisalign but not w ashby.

I can not believe how wonderful everyone in this office is. So personable and willing to help you in anyway that they can. Starting my Invisalign treatment with this Orthodontics practice, was one of the best decisions I could have made. I can't believe how much my teeth have changed in such a short amount of time. They really know what they are doing here.

This a great orthodontist for new and recent users it's a great place to do great business and the staff treat you like family soon as you walk in you get your very own special greeting this is a lovely place and the are very convenient because they have different locations and it could be one very close to you or your family.. I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE GOOD SERVICE
