Dr. Kortam earned her dental degree and masters degrees from Cairo University in Egypt. She completed a three year residency program in Orthodontics at Cairo University. She also underwent an additional three year residency, obtaining a certificate in Orthodontics and a master of science degree from the Ohio State University. Dr. Kortam has over ten years experience in the field of Orthodontics both clinically and academically as she enjoyed teaching as an instructor and assistant lecturer at Cairo University.
Dr. Kortam is recognized as one of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council. She has also been extensively published in industry journal publications. She has extensive research in the area of 3D cone beam CT that is cutting edge technology. She is also the recipient of a Medallion of Scientific Achievement Award from Egypts Ministry of Health and Population, ranking 2nd in all dental schools in Egypt. Dr. Kortam maintains professional memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Egyptian Orthodontic Society, Egyptian Dental Union and the American Board of Orthodontics.

It super clean and amazing company. There many activities that they do on holidays. Everyone is friendly, wonderful, and do there job well. They give you amazing results. Make good conversations with everyone there. I would recommend for anyone that might need braces. If I could mess up my teeth to get braces I would but they said no. They explain what there going to do which is great and any questions you have ask them.

Dr. Kortam is a master of her trade and her supporting team are tremendously skilled. I'd been in the market for treatment for quite a while but was somewhat skeptical of the heavily promotional practices of other establishments. Ashburn Orthodontics provided a completely different experience from Day 1. Dr. Kortam explained her thoughts regarding treatment and the practice encouraged me to take my time to review the entire package. Scheduling was always a breeze and appointments were on time. I'd strongly suggest completing treatment here if you appreciate being valued as a patient rather than just another number.

My first couple of visit since I decide to come here It's been wonderful, the staff always is super friendly, smiling, answering any questions, Via email or phone. The Dr also is very friendly, take her time to check on you and answers any question you may have. Regarding the treatment I got the invisalings. A week ago, so I cant say much, in a couple of weeks when I see some changes, I'll update my review Thanks
